I booked an appointment for 1:45 on a Monday, recieved a text to confirm appointment, and when I got there Monday my appointment had somehow been changed to Wednesday. Normally I would say maybe I screwed up and got the wrong day, which happens, but my birthday was the day before. Regardless from the time I booked to the time I got there somehow my appointment was changed. Really wasted my time. Not that I would come here a lot but I will never go again for sure read more

I was very excited for my appt but unfortunately had to cancel on short notice because my child was sick and had to rush and pick up from daycare and take him to the pediatrician. The lady who answered the phone was RUDE. I know it's inconvenient for them to have a cancellation on short notice but emergencies happen. She laughed and acted SHOCKED that I was cancelling. I told her she was being rude. When I am able to reschedule this appointment I will just find another place because this conversation was embarrassing. Now that I am reading all of these other reviews seems like it's a pattern here. read more

The least enthusiastic staff I could imagine, from the receptionist, to the nurse, even the doctor. You might expect friendly faces, greetings, demeanor. Not here, not today. They seemed distracted, uninterested, uncaring, going through the motions, and like they just wanted to get it over with. I'd been there twice previously, though not recently, and it wasn't like this before, and I had had a good experience, liked the doctor. Maybe I'm mistaken, but it seemed almost like my questions were resented. I cut the session short, though there was additional treatment I had thought I'd ask about. It's a trek to get there, so, with the attitude, I'll likely be looking for someone else closer to home. Sad to say. read more

I went to the clinic about 5 weeks ago for a rash on my calf. I was prescribed a topical steroid cream and told to use it 2X daily and it would clear within a few days. 4 weeks later I presented again as the rash was spreading and was extremely inflamed. Dr. Mason came into the exam room, asked me how he could help me, then took one look at my calf and announced that it was ring-worm. I was given a prescription for Terbinifine tablets, which I was to take one every day. He then asked me if I was taking any other meds. I informed him that when I first came to the clinic 5 weeks ago I brought with me a complete typed list of all my meds and past surgeries and gave the list to his nurse. I started telling him about the current meds I am on and he simply said "Your a walking drugstore". After getting the script filled and taking the first 2 doses, I ran an internet quarry on the medicine Dr. Mason prescribed and found out that 2 of my current medicines that I take conflicted with the Terbinifine and should not be taken together (according to the mfg. website). I called Epiphany and got the voice mail, assuring me that my telephone call would be returned within 24 hours. I left a detailed message on Thursday morning and it is now Saturday afternoon,,,and still no call from anyone there. I will need another dermatology clinic as the reviews on here seem to validate the clinics indifference and their inability to communicate with their patients. I am so glad I researched the drug conflict before I needed to be hospitalized or selected my pall bearers! Adios Epiphany. read more

I cannot recommend this place less. 3 months after my last visit (which I only made as a final check-up with Dr. Mason for my time on Accutane, and to clear all final bills) I get a call from a collections agency saying that I owe two bills of $155 from earlier in the year (6-7 months prior). My last appointment I VERY SPECIFICALLY asked for any outstanding charges. Nothing about these 2 charges was noted. No contact was made to me about these 2 charges after the fact. Awesome!!! During my several months of monthly visits around Winter 2018-2019, every time I went to visit the practice they would state I had outstanding fees from my last visit. I cannot believe the degree of incompetence that this business has shown. Currently on my way to get this sorted out, but I know that their goal is to screw me around every corner. read more

Front desk employee was so far out of line... she argued about my insurancw..handed me the tablet to sign in and seconds later she pulled the tablet and told me just "go in" this was very aggressive and almost a bit of aggression and almost assault as she pushed me back and began telling me "let me have that" I was very embarrassed to other patients.. funny this has been reported many times yet she still employed and almost knows nothing will happen since this issue continues. First off, you cannot call them. If you leave a message, they will never return your call. They started me on meds that made my face swell and my eyes closed completely. They never once called me back to get my meds changed or to offer guidance. My PCP couldn't even reach them. The front desk lady is a true nightmare. She is abhorrent beyond belief and cannot do her job without insulting you; she also cannot take a message, as has been apparent via in person and phone. Michael Hatch said he hadn't received my messages. He also gaslighted me and told me facial swelling wasn't a possible symptom of Sotyktu... it's actually one of their worst reactions. I'm currently trying to request records from them but they don't have an email, their patient portal doesn't work, and they are not answering the phones; the phone won't even give you the option to leave a voicemail. I CANT STAND THIS PLACE but I'm stuck until I get my records. read more

The billing/corporate office is the worst. in June they made me pay my deductible at my appointment even though i took in written proof that i had met my out of pocket for the year and that they would cover 100%. The lady at the front looked scared and told me she couldn't let me leave without paying something. So i paid. The day I paid, 6/20/2019, I called billing and ask how long it would take for them to file my claim so that I can get a refund for what i paid. I was told a few weeks. My claim were initially denied for seeing and out of network provider, and i had to call again and demand that they appeal them, before the deadline passed for appeals. They finally did and my claims paid, however here it is 9/23/2019 and I still have not gotten a refund even though i have sent the duplicate EOB's from my insurance showing they paid 100% and my portion is $0. Sha, in their billing told me that it could take a week or longer for the 'claims team' to 'review and post'. The 'claims team' has no phone number and there was no manager for me to talk to. Sha states that her manager, Jean, doesn't have a set schedule that she knows of and is never sure when she will be in. This is so unprofessional and unacceptable. I have left messages and nobody is even calling me back. read more

My family and I had a great experience with Dr. Dunn and the whole team at Epiphany Dermatology. I had a suspicious sun spot and didn't want to wait a long time to get an appointment. I was able to schedule an appointment very quickly and easily. And I'm glad - because Dr. Dunn gave me a thorough exam and found it was precancerous. He was very good about telling me my options and potential scarring, which was important considering the issue was on my face. I am very happy to report that the medication and plan worked just like he said it would!!! My young son also came in for a rash, and Dr. Dunn was great about caring for him. He was very thorough, spent a lot of time figuring it out, and gave us a very simple and inexpensive solution that worked! The nurse and receptionist there were super. Great experience! read more

I can not recommend. I went for an appointment in May. I was quoted $125 for my office visit. I went to make sure I was not showing any signs of skin cancer as I am always out in the sun and have a lot of freckles. While in my visit, Dr Faulkner asked me if I would like a skin abnormality "removed". I said sure. After injected it with what I image was a numbing solution, She took a razor blade to it and removed it. My appointment was over. I left, went out to pay. When I got out there, I was shocked to find out my bill was now $220.67. I said it is supposed to be $125. The receptionist said, "but you had a procedure". A procedure? She took a razor blade to my arm. At NO TIME was it ever disclosed to me before, or during my appointment that there would be an additional charge for her removing that from my arm. I went ahead and paid the additional money and just chalked it up to a lesson learned. HOWEVER, I am now getting an ADDITIONAL bill for $308.10. They sent the tissue to pathology to make sure it was not cancerous, without my knowledge, and although the doctor told me not to worry about it while in her office because it was too perfectly round and color was not concerning. I have called and left numerous messages at their office, unreturned. I finally got Elizabeth to call me back yesterday who had Valerie call me back today who's advice was to "set up another appointment if I wanted to speak directly with Dr Faulkner". Yes, I'm going to pay an additional $125 to pay for something that is so messed up in the first place.,No thank you! They gave me The Corporate Office Billing Number who also stated that once it went to Pathology, there was nothing they could do. Really? So this is just something that is supposed to be accepted? THE ADDITIONAL CHARGES SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISCLOSED!! I gave personally never been to a dermatologist before, and I can tell you, I will NEVER be back to this group!!!!!! read more

If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would! The doctor CLEARLY was not educated and didn't care about learning anything abt my history or skin at all. He basically told me there's no solution to my acne when I barely have any just in one problem area on my face. I also have black hairs on my chin and neck and told him I tried laser hair removal (7 sessions) and he said "that's a permanent thing so idk why that didn't work" then told me to use nairs which won't help it go away since it's basically the same as shaving. My face is also superrr dry so I got a new moisturizer that has helped my skin so much then he told me not to use toner or moisturizer.... what kind of DERMATOLOGIST tells their client NOT to use those essential things??? There were sooo many other things he said that I just KNEW weren't right and just knew from the start I should not trust this "doctor" Stupidest doctor I've ever been to!!! I just left epiphany and will never return. I got there at 1:00 and my appointment was at 1:30 or so I thought. At 1:45, I checked again and they said my appointment was at 1:45. I sat back down and 2:30, I told them to just cancel it and I would just find a different dermatologist. The treatment that I had received before was adequate but any good dermatologist could have come to the same conclusions. It wouldn't be so bad but we have to drive 65 miles one way and we live on a fixed income. The receptionist offered no explanation and was almost rude when I asked about when I would see the PA. Dr Beckley is awesome. I have seen her about 2 years. She is very professional and addresses all your concerns. She performs head to toe assessments per MD Anderson protocol. I had to see Dr Mason in her absence, bad mistake. His assessment was 5 minutes or less. Needless to say not head to toe. His bedside manner is horrible. I left empty. I do not feel confident at all I am skin cancer free due to bare minimum assessment. I feel his 50 dollar copay and whatever he charged my insurance is not acceptable. When I tried to express concerns he insulted me and walked out of the room. I hope he was just having a bad day as we all do at times but his behavior as a health care professional was not excusable. I hate to write bad reviews but I see others feel the same way. I hope this review will bring good from a bad situation. read more

Very Pleased with Rebecca Martin the PA-C. I have been to six other dermatologist and not a one could tell me what my problem was with my legs, and finally her being my 7th one to go to she told me what it was and treated me for it. I am very pleased with her and the staff. They are very friendly and concerned about my Health.
