My skin has never been as smooth as it is now since I did laser hair removal with Lana. I recently came back to touch up on some areas and continue on with my hair removal process. I have extremely thick hair and this place is the only place that helps with making sure my hair doesn't grow back. Lana is amazing!!! She makes you feel comfortable and at ease. She's super friendly and extremely professional. I love that Lana will tell you exactly how it is. She'll always advise and give you recommendations based on what's best for you rather than what's best for the company. She is extremely knowledgeable and smart. I had an unpleasant experience with this business. They attempted to move the appointment to a time…read morethat was more convenient for them and when I was not available. I told them to cancel and I would reschedule based on my availability. I then 24 hours later receive an email with confirmation with the original time, instead of the cancellation. By that time, I had made alternative plans but because this was 24 hours before the actual appointment a $75 charge was required to cancel. When I arrived, the technician was forceful and slimey with her business dealings. When I told her this was maintenance for previous treatment performed prior to moving to Boston, she proceeded to insult an entire city of people as though they were low class. They verbally quoted one price and wrote a different price in contract. When I corrected them, it was given a rebuttal and then ultimately changed again when I declined the service. This lets me know they make up pricing on the fly and based on who is in front of them. One service I wanted to save for another day, but she insisted on performing the day of consultation (to get the money) even though I did not have time. She then made up another day for me to come back and told the scheduler to schedule me at that time, even though I did not request that time. I think they have unethical practices and I will not be returning. I will fly back to my original dermatologist and aesthetician for better service.

They don't use ice before treatment or cold air to make you more comfortable so the process is very painful and unbearable. They don't let the tat air out after and cover it with bandages causing lots of friction and irritation over the wound right after treatment. basically the way they do the treatment is as expensive and as painful as possible compared to other places that offer the same treatment. lash treatment: I also bought their lash serum. they don't tell you how to use it responsibly or that you should take long breaks from the treatment. nor does the manufacturer who I reached out to. If you do your own research, there are lots of risks and warnings. although it made my lashes extra nice, it caused discoloration of my actual eyes. I went to the eye doctor and they told me it would likely be permenant damage. they also tell you the lashes will stay that way, but they return to normal when you stop using the product and you must stop for long periods to use it safely and stop all together if it damages your eyes (which I did.) To make matters worse they called me to dispute my review. I told them I wasn't interested unless they were calling to apologize and refund me. After expressing my disinterest in further discussion and hanging up, they called and texted me asking me to remove my review because it was "misleading". As if having my experience dismissed and harassing me is going to make me take down my review...
