I am SO happy the salad bar is back and included with chicken/rib options like it was in the past. The price is a lot higher than previously but that is to be expected. Food quality and selection at the bar is still consistent. Everything felt fresh and delicious. There were 2 types of soups to choose from, lots of salad toppings and fruits. I really like that you can make a hearty salad with unique ingredients like chickpeas, beans, couscous, cheese etc. I find Scores to be the perfect place for families and groups - it is a sure crowd pleaser and even picky eaters can enjoy something. There is a mix of tables and booths, comfortable seating, great location with plentiful parking. What's not to like. Highly recommend and can't wait to be back. It is a great comforting meal.

The rice that accompanies the dish is very dry and hard. The pork chop, however, was rotten. We pointed it out to the staff, they took the chop and asked what he wanted instead. He re-ordered chicken leg. He ended up having no more appetite and asked to bring the chicken home. As I went to pay, they charged the pork chop on the bill until I pointed it out that the pork chop was rotten. My friend started to have stomach ache in the car on his way home and ended up in diarrhea for two hours in the toilet. There was no apology and the water glass was never refilled throughout the whole time. It's a never-to-return place!

I got a table immediately. I ordered Jarry's special platter. It consists of a smoked meat sandwich, with fries, coleslaw, and a pickle. I went with medium fat content on the smoked meat. Hey, when in Montreal, go with flavour and the best smoked meat! I absolutely loved my sandwich. The smoked meat was flavourful, tender, juicy,... oh my gosh, I can't stop drooling as I write this review. You get a generous amount of meat in your sandwich. The bread was fresh and delicious. The fries and coleslaw were yummy. It was the perfect plate to have for lunch. I can't recall whether I had a Diet Coke or Pepsi. I do remember washing my meal down with a drink.
