I have been going there for over 3 years now but prior to that I was traveling over 30 minutes to see my past Chiro because when you find a good dr. you like you make the effort to go to them. It's a lot about trust and being relaxed when you get an adjustment and I feel 100% at ease at this office. Not only are the doctors amazing but the staff treats you like family. Even though they are happy to see you, there is never any pressure to come back. They treat you for what is best for you and your body. Over the years I have won my share of gifts at their events the most recent was an Amazon gift card and a water pillow. All that is bonus because their adjustments are so great and they all start with a massage table (if your time allows) which makes the adjustment so much easier. If you haven't tried Lakeland Family Chiropractic you really should, you will not be sorry! P.S. Their massage therapist are wonderful as well and take insurance. I was having trouble scheduling at another place for three months and Wellspring was more…read moreconvenient to me for their hours and many other reasons. I came in and asked all the questions I possibly could to make sure it would work out and ended up scheduling and moving my referral over, which was not easy to get from the first place. Two weeks later, I came in for my appointment which lasted almost 1.5hrs. The therapist recommended 2x/wk and I agreed. She walked me to the front desk where I'm told they can't accommodate me because they're booked out for weeks and I could maybe get in ONE day between then and the next available. I think if they would've worded it that way when I asked all the questions or somehow made me aware that they'd be able to get in me in for the initial appointment soon but treatments wouldn't start until weeks later. Then I would've kept looking. I then a few days later called and asked to speak to the owner, who called me back and was everything but helpful. Her level of sarcasm towards the situation by making comments such as; I'm sorry I couldn't be 100% fully staffed for you, are totally unnecessary and unprofessional. After explaining to her how unsatisfactory my experience had been and now I'm having to look for a new place, and how I didn't thought it wasn't fair that they were still going to bill my insurance knowing they couldn't accommodate from the beginning, I realized she didn't care to help or alleviate the situation, I gave up. I feel like this place lies to people just to get them in for that first appointment since it's the one they can bill/collect on the most and that's all they're after. They don't actually care about the patients or their treatment. I manage a few clinics and if my staff ever scheduled someone knowing we wouldn't be able to accommodate after the initial appointment, not only I, but all my providers would do everything possible to make sure they get on the schedule the amount of times were recommending until the schedule allows for more appointments. Either stay during lunch, come in earlier or leave later but we'd make sure our patient is taken care of. This place didn't even try and that's after I spoke with three people including the owner. And yes, after all that, they still billed my insurance because "I still got the evaluation" An evaluation that would determine my treatment frequency which they couldn't accommodate. Which if they would've told me from the get go, said evaluation would've never happened.

This place was awesome...until it wasn't…read more My experience there with staff and most massage therapists have been amazing. The owner, Teresa Fromm, however, is a different story. I switched insurances at the end of July and had a service every day for like 10 days to utilize my benefits. For years I've used my Navia/Flex Spending account to pay my copay. Early September she addresses me loudly from the front desk about how I owe $60 in copays. When I questioned how she stated it was because her staff hadn't run my card so 4 copays went unpaid. I explained my frustration with that because they had always ran my card and that now, the Navia card was turned off. She took no responsibility for her staff and kept saying "well you still need to pay it" as if I said I wouldn't. I was just expressing frustration about her staffs unfortunate bad timing when it came to not doing their job. At one point I said "being in between jobs, unexpected bills are a hardship" to which she loudly said "IT'S ONLY $60". It was embarrassing. When I told her that she was very unprofessional, she said "talking to you is like talking to a trash can" and walked into her office. She then came out and said "FINE I'LL JUST WRITE IT OFF" which again, was embarrassing. I'm not broke. I just wanted some accountability. I was shook. I also tried to be kind and assume she had a bad day. I kept my other appointments, knowing that I rarely had to see her. I like the therapists there but clients are supposed to get 50 minutes of massage but are constantly shorted by their lack of time between clients. It's another frustration there. Then, I came in yesterday and they brought me to a room with a therapist I don't like. I immediately saw this person (who's head was down as they were making the bed) and stepped back from the doorway and said "no" because this wasn't the first time they've tried to put me with that person. It's also not who they told me I would be with when I made the appt. That therapist also never saw me. I ended up seeing someone else for treatment. Afterward my appt., Teresa brought me into her office and IMMEDIATELY yelled at me telling me I was "rude to the therapist" (the first one, whom I never interacted with) and "fired me as a client". I will be filing formal complaints about her through the right channels. In the course of the short interaction she said "there are 5 therapists that won't work with you here!" News to me, especially since I see the same people repeatedly. Seems if I was such a problematic client, a conversation should have been had a LONG time ago. I also typically see the same people over and over so...I knew she wasn't being honest. I believe that she's just been waiting since the money situation to come for me. I have every right not to be forced to get a massage by someone I do not like. Teresa is incredibly unprofessional for expecting me to just shut up and accept it. I know her staff apologized to me for the outburst about the money...it was cringe to hear someones staff have to be embarrassed for their boss. That said... Many of the therapists are great there but I would avoid putting money in this woman's pocket. To be demeaning and hurtful to clients is never ok and as the owner she should be setting the example for professionalism. Instead she's rude, loudly embarrassing and unprofessional. Go somewhere else if you can.

She even let me know that the practice would take the hit and cover the portion my insurance was supposed to cover for my splints if insurance decided not to cover it. I was beyond impressed with this place and would have recommended it to anyone and everyone at the time. It is rare to see a practice go out of its way to make sure its patients get the proper care, even if it affects them. However, after my experiences with the front desk, I do not ever plan to return. I received a bill that was over $100, which was not a surprise, and I was fine with. I had, however, asked to see the itemized receipt on multiple occasions and was not provided with this information as I had asked. One of the receptionists I spoke with the most about this itemized bill seemed to get very distracted easily. Before the itemized bill became a problem, he asked for my Instagram, and after I said no, he continuously flirted with me. I just tried to stay friendly and ignored it since he didn't show any harmful intentions. His flirtatiousness had only become a problem once the issue of the bill had arisen. He said he would communicate with my hand therapist about this bill and what items were charged, and he never once got back to me. I ended up paying this bill without an itemized receipt, which was very frustrating to say the least. After I had finished my therapy, I had come across another issue. Another receptionist had told me to ignore the bills I was getting in the mail, as I had already paid all of my bills. So I did, then found out 2 years later I was sent to collections for an unpaid bill. I had reached out multiple times to Bonney Lake Highline PT and even left voicemails with no response to find out if I was sent to collections or if this was a scam. I ended up having to go directly into the office to discuss this with one of the receptionists. He had confirmed that I was sent to collections and showed me the bill. I asked him to talk to his manager about how frustrating it was for me to be given so much misinformation. Fast forward to today, when I call collections, I find out my bill is nearly double the bill Highline sent in. I asked them to explain. They said that it was the full bill they had received. They hadn't added anything onto the bill, and we figured out together that Highline had shown me the wrong bill when I went in person. Once highline had sent the bill to colelctions they wouldn't have kept that in their reccords and so they would not have the bill to show me anymore. It has been a few weeks since I asked for the situation of being sent to collections to be brought up to the manager. I haven't received any communications or so much as an apology. I am beyond disappointed with their services and continuous miscommunication.
