I am so glad I found (was referred) to Epic Nails! The space is Large and CLEAN. Pricing is average but the service is exceptional. Staff is friendly, Henry does an amazing job of keeping everything running smooth and efficiently. I drive a half hour out of my way to go to Epic because they're worth it! read more

While I was there the girl rushed on my nails horribly and they did not turn out good at all not once has she asked me how I want my nail shape or how short I wanted them she just start doing them. I've went in the past and havent had any issues and this is the girl who i've had in the past and what she did this time it turned out horrible she didn't let the gel dry and all the gooey stuff is on it and they don't look good it was a waste of my money do not recommend. read more

I've been going to Epic Nails since I was in high school. They've been a reliable place for me to go, that was a good price, and very clean. Lately, they just haven't lived up to the expectation that I've known for the past 7/8 years. You make an appointment and have walk-ins getting taken care of before you, and there have been times where I haven't made an appointment and walked in being told to wait for 10, and end up waiting for 45. It's ridiculous, and rude especially when it's a customer who has been coming for years. My final note. I've been getting acrylics for the past few weeks and within days the nails are lifting up and falling off. I understand that it could be me, but when the same technician is doing your nails and the same nails are falling off after each full set, it makes you wonder if you're the reasoning behind it or if the technician/product is the issue. I had my recent set for 3 days and the nails were coming up, I called to get a refund/ replacement of the nails, and instead of getting another full set to have them fall off again, I asked to get gel done because it wasn't worth the time or energy to get them redone. I was charged $20 for the new manicure. I feel like that doesn't make sense, I understand I asked for a new type of manicure, but it was after I just spent $45 on a full set less than a week ago. It's not fair to customers when this happens. I'm going to pick a new salon because this is not the experience I wish to have. read more

Do not get a massage here!!! I have had many massages in many different countries... None were as creepy and violating as this one! I have never made a yelp review but I would never want a parent to send their teenage child here for a massage and for her (or him) not to understand what was happening was wrong!! I'm embarrassed that I did not speak up at the time but I myself (34 yr old female) was completely shocked and trying to justify it by saying "cultural difference"... It WAS NOT!! I'm sure I'm not the only person to have experienced this... The "therapist" had a bottle of Ed hardy cologne on his station! Ugh!!!! Soooo humiliating read more

Very clean, friendly staff but prices are SUPER high! $50 for mani/pedi and chipped both chipped within a day!!! Very disappointed! Also gave her $60 she gave me back a $10 bill it would have been nice for her to give me back a $5 bill and 5 singles in case I wanted to tip 15% instead of 20%...parking is also limited read more

I have been here several times and I found the staff to be friendly and competent. The salon is very clean and they follow sanitizing procedures. The reason the the loss of a star is my most recent visit. The nail tech (an older gentleman) was a little too rough...I came away with irritations on a toe and a finger...also he sped through the pedicure. Although my nails looked nice, it wasn't the pampering experience I have gotten used to. Also..no back massage...guess my 25% tip wasn't enough for him read more

Went to the cutchogue location. They were not friendly, my pedicure wasn't good (without going into detail) and there were SO many fumes I got a headache. Go to Vivians in Mattituck. read more

Polish chips within 24 hours. horrible, horrible, horrible results. This has happened to me several times, each time I tried a different brand polish. Then I realized it was something else they are doing, diluting the polish? I even paid extra for the special gel polish- still chipped. read more

I've been going to Epic for about four years now and have never been disappointed. There are only two people there who do my nails, Henry and Vicky, both are excellent. I never have an appointment because of my busy schedule and they always fit me in, sometimes with a short wait. The place is clean and modern and the staff is always friendly. As far as their prices, I think they are fair. I previously went to Le's Nails in Riverhead for about ten years and their prices are higher and I felt the service was starting to get less and less satisfactory to me. Their basic pedicure is taking the polish off your toes, washing your feet and putting on new polish. The experience there felt more about getting people in and out quick to get to the next customer. I never feel that way at Epic. They take the time to service you and make sure you're happy when you leave. If there's something you are unhappy with during your experience, speak up. Henry is quick to rectify any issue a customer may have. Two thumbs up for Epic in Mattituck. read more

Sorry have to disagree with alot of the reviews. I have lived out here for 10 years and have always disliked the nail salons out here - I did like dellaquilla for nails but they are ridiculously expensive - 50 bucks for a pedicure that is just a basic pedicure and 20 bucks for a basic manicure - here, for 50 bucks for a pedicure you get a very fancy pedicure including a 30 minute massage. Or you can do a basic pedicure for 20 bucks. that is not expensive as these things go - and a basic manicure for 10 bucks. pedicures go up to 70 dollars but that is a pure 'experience' thing and nice to endulge in if one can afford it but a luxury. People are nice, spa is very clean, they are staffed very well with lots of manicurists even during the week so if there is a wait it is quick. high quality products. It's a very updated spa - chairs are great and products are high quality. not sure where you would go to get cheaper in this area - anyway, for me a big thumbs up. read more

My first visit to this salon was a great experience. They were very busy on a rainy morning, but they fit me in without an appointment and my wait was less than 10 minutes. Everyone was very courteous and nice. The salon itself is clean and nicely decorated with good lighting and inoffensive music (not Asian elevator music!) The massage chair could have kneaded with more gusto for my taste, but I'm just picky that way. The young man who did my pedicure was professional and thorough, asking me exactly what I wanted done and checking in with me to make sure it was perfect. His foot massage was fantastic and callous removal and polish job was spot on. While my toes were drying, another young man came over and offered me a neck and shoulder massage, which was delightful and very well executed (and is part of the regular service, not an add-on charge.) Does life get any better than this? $33 for a great pedicure with callous removal seems to be about average in my opinion, and they really go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated, unlike the perfectly dreadful Angel Tips Salon down the road. Bravo for a great new nail salon in sleepy Mattituck! read more
