Very disappointed. I came in for my appointment with Sandra and was told by Anna that Sandra doesn't do dip. When I said I only wanted Sandra, Anna simply told me no. Techs cut corners and do a terrible job. 3 nails popped off after 1 week. When confronted , the tech got pissed and then butchered my real nails, cut 1 short and left it like that, they were all uneven. I told the owner but he doesn't seem to care. They reuse the emory tips and files , the clipping tools. Nothing is sanitized. They just put it in the drawer and reuse the same tools . Not a very hygienic place. read more

If you are unfortunate enough to get Linda as your nail technician, do yourself a favor and walk out. She was rude, in a hurry and constantly yelling at coworkers without watching what she was doing. It took her 15 minutes to do a gel manicure that was so poorly done, I had to come back the next day for a redo. And don't let her touch your cuticles. My fingers still hurt 4 days later! Do businesses not know that customers want a relaxing atmosphere and pampered experience? I was on edge the whole time and felt like I was bothering this technician by giving her my business. It seems to depend upon the season. I've been here during the summer and have had great manicures and pedicures. However, I've found during the winter months, the staff is very different. The most recent mani/pedi I had was practically torturous. Trimming my cuticles was excruciating. There is also a lack of hygiene here. Yes, they do use pedicure bowl liners. I normally get my nails done at a different spot, but I thought why not stop while on my way home. When I walked in I asked Peter at the front desk, if I could get my nails biffed, cuticles pushed back, & top coat if they had time. I took a seat and looked at the TV for the start time at 2:07. I didn't get this woman's name, but I would guess she is hispanic. She was friendly, kind, and gentle. Peter walked over saying "so you want this" I said yes, not knowing the difference between top coat & gel. He motioned for me to the other side (this salon has two long rows parallel from each other). This woman's name was Helen, she said "so you would like this" I explained what I would like: nails buffed, cuticles pushed back, & top coat on top. They started talking amongst themselves about me & what I wanted. Peter walked over to me indicating for me to move back to the seat I was in the 1st time. He said "that's it". I waited a few minutes for the 1st woman to come back.. She said sorry for the wait. I responded to her "no need to be sorry, I guess I confused them". She started filing my nails, I would have much rather stayed with the other women, Peter walked up to me saying Helen will be doing your nails, before this woman left I asked her "why can't you do my nails" she responded back saying "yeah I don't know why". We passed a few looks back & forth both confused on why this was being done. Helen came over, unwrapped my 1 dip nail that was in foil for removal, and placed my hands aggressively in & out of the water bowl. When she got to filing my nails I told her she already did that, she responded back saying "while I'll do it again". At this point I was feeling irritated & my blood was starting to boil. When she pushed my cuticles back she did it very lightly (nothing felt like it was being done). When you cut my cuticles, it just looked like she was doing the motion, only a few pieces got picked up (I felt like she did nothing to my nail). She finished with lotioning my hands. She said "would you like this" I responded back saying I'm good, I'm good with what this is. I walked up to Peter, he said 25$. I said how is it $25? I didn't get polish. I asked "where on the board does it say that". He pointed to classic manicure reg/gel polish 25/40$. I've been there multiple times, I got maintenance on my nails done without polish for 20$ there. No one greeted me. I was waiting for over 20 minutes and walked out. I had made an appointment so this was very disappointing.

I tried this salon for the 4th and last time. Technician I had was very scattered doing another's pedicure, answering phone and greeting customers after she told me she could take me right away. Just came in for dip removal and dip manicure and do not want to spend more time than necessary here. Lastly, they are consistently the rudest staff I've ever experienced in a nail salon. DO NOT COME HERE!!! Extremely rude. Asked 3 times if she could just buff gel off and not use acetate. She would not listen. Also they leave acetone on w foils and gloves for 6 minutes- unheard of. After he buffed off polish which actually didnt come off he told me i was done my nails full of powder with ragged nails a d remaining polish. i said but id like a full manicure. He argued with me and said i have no time you said just removal. He didnt even clean off all the powder on my nails. im now left with ragged filthy nails which are much thinner and with half the gel still on. The worst. I don't care how bad your nails or toes look - you'd be smart to give this place a wide berth. They are lucky they're the only show in town or they would be out of business. 45 minute wait when I had an appointment. They told me staffing issues. Really? I made the appointment that same day so... nice try. Same thing the last time I went there so again... nice try. Sat with my feet in dirty water as they told me numerous times I was next and I saw others get right in (without an appointment). WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE EVER. I was very excited to come in and get a fill-in. I asked for clear dip, with gel polish and design. The technician used green dip powder instead of the polish I wanted, it came out very chunky and uneven. The designs also turned out nothing like what I wanted, the technicians effort/care level was very low, and it felt rushed. Leaving dissatisfied , I showed friends and family who all prompted me to call and get my money back. The manager didn't care about customer satisfaction, and was extremely rude. He offered to redo my set, however I don't have two and half hours to sit around for nails that came out like these did. Hands down, the best manicure on Cape Cod. All of the staff is fantastic. Complimentary coffee and water. They have the best color selection. Made an appointment for my boyfriend and i to get pedicures and I'm so disappointed with the quality. We sat down after another customer and both our appointments ended before theirs, which seemed to be the same style of pedicure. I asked if they could get the dead skin off my feet and they did not do that. The woman that did my boyfriend feet ended up cutting his nail short and it's now red. My polish has bubbles in it. My 4 year old niece has done my nails better than Epic did today. I gave them a chance after getting mixed reviews from friends. No foot massage with the pedicure, which would be okay if the nail tech did a good job with the polish. The coats are uneven and peeling off same day. I will say she was very attentive to removing dead skin from my feet. Gel manicure was somehow worse. Painted right over my cuticles, so the polish is already peeling off the nail. My nails were not filed evenly. Not to mention she used dirty utensils, on which I could see someone else's dead skin buildup. gross. Paid a premium price, received subpar service. This place is ridiculous. Their workers are lame and don't know how to speak English. We were there for appointments at 5pm and one of the girls took another customer who came in after us. When her coworkers asked her if the other customer had an appointment she said yes. One star for the poor management, but I give 5 stars to my technician, Gabi. She did an awesome job on both my manicure and pedicure. Great attention to detail and relaxing massage! Management on the other hand, was a different story. I made an appointment for 5pm, but didn't get worked on until 5:45. Walk ins came in and were seen first. One of the technicians even assumed another client had an appointment and was going to start on her, but the client stated she was a walk in, so that technician started working on us instead. Why did we have to keep track of that? Clearly, appointments take priority over walks in, but no one was keeping track of who was who. If we hadn't said anything, we probably would've waited another 30 minutes. Very unorganized! Got there at 5pm and came out at 7:10. The place closes at 7 and all employees were either cleaning up or leaving already while I was still getting my manicure done. I go for a manicure and pedicure every 2-3 weeks and have done so 30 plus years. I have to say this was the worst that I have ever had. The session normally will last at least a little over an hour. The tech had me in and out in 40 mins and charged me $90 and expected a tip on to top of that. By the way they charge 3% if you use a credit card starting 5/1/23. The tech started with my pedicure and she literally hacked at my feet with her cheese grater. She hurt me twice and covered the one on my side of my foot with something that stung for 30 or so mins. When it came to my manicure she clipped the nails on one hand but not the other and I swear it took all of 10 mins. The absolute worst and I have had mani/pedi's all over the WORLD!!!! read more

Absolutely terrible pedicure. Only giving two stars because my sister got a manicure that was "fine". The pedicure in total lasted less than 25minutes. Only OPI colors to choose from and it was applied unevenly with no attention to the opaqueness and differences in shades when applied to different nails. My feet were only soaking for two minutes total and the "dry skin treatment" was the most painful experience I've ever had at a nail salon. We were rushed out of the chairs to the drying station with no directions except to go pay. Went in to check this place out on a whim when I saw their "Grand Opening" sign. Couldn't be happier! I got a dip manicure for the first time there. I really can't believe how much stronger my nails are. I usually get gel manicures, but the dip dries just as fast and is incredibly sturdy. I'd say it rivals acrylic nails in how strong it is. Aside from all that, my favorite part was the salon itself: incredibly clean, fairly priced, and truly wonderful staff. Huge place but poor workers and worker performance; not a settled place yet. I live in Orleans and I was so excited to try this new place. The place was clean and new and the owner or manager(at the front desk) seemed nice. I wanted to have a gel-pedi and owner( or manager) picked a male manicurist for me. Based on my experience this man was a beginner. He spent more than one hour only for the coloring, skipped many services he should provide. After I complained about the uneven color coat, smudged polish and messiness, he asked to me come back anytime and he will do it again. Despite that he still charged to me $55 (Regular pedi polish costs $35, Gel polish costs $55). Before I wrote this review I decided to try one more time. So I visited again a few hours later. I wanted to get better service from better technician but you know..? Same dude. Again he was struggling putting on the polish. What he told me was I picked too light color (Lilac) so it wasn't easy (like the color palette they made themselves) and that the machine wasn't good enough... More than 30 minutes later they replaced him with another female technician. She put the color on quicker but still messy, smudged on the edge even tho this one was gel!!!! All she did was change the color as quickly as possible to get me out of there. There were many extra pedicure chairs left and 3 or 4 technicians just hanging out. This place is terrible! After having an appointment for 2pm, they started my mani-pedi at 2:35. They trimmed my nails totally unevenly. The nail polish went on in streaks and their answer was "that polish needs 3 coats." I told them I didn't want 3 coats because the polish ends up soft and smudgy. We tried another color and same issue. They only have OPI polish, so no option for another brand. I ended up with a hideous glitter polish, and the polish ends up allllll over my skin, and a couple chunks without polish. I came here with my friend a few weeks ago to get my nails done when I came in everything seemed okay the staff were polite but it seemed that I got the bad apple. Both my friend and I got our nails dipped and her came out pretty nice. But. The women who was taking care of me did not speak more then a few words to me the entire time and just aggressively did my nails. The only thing I chose was the color and the woman never even bothered to ask me what shape i wanted or anything. She only looked up once when she was about to clip the extensions and asked me how long. Somehow she ended up doing that one nail longer then the others. I was getting worried at some point because this was my first time getting dip and I didn't know when they shaped them so I told my friend loudly so the women would hear that I wanted to get a ballerina or coffin style shape. I ended up getting these thick square chunks on my fingers that made me feel like I was 3 years old again and stuck play dough on my nails. One of the things I look forward to when getting a manicure is them doing a little hand massage and this lady "massaged" one hand for about 4 seconds amd didnt even do the other hamd. Overall rating on the salon is a 3.5 but for that particular lady I would give half a star. The other workers there even looked like they felt bad. read more
