First, a woman named Bobbie started talking to me and explained she was not really a golfer and had limited experience on fittings. Kevin arrived in the fitting room and told me that he had (some kind of) "applicant-orientation" and that he would not be able to do the fitting, however, Bobbie could help me. And, if Bobbie had any questions, he could make himself available for her. I ask him if he wasn't aware of my appointment? And, he said that he was not informed about that. Then he looked at my old clubs (which I brought in) and told me he would not be able to replace those. I said, well - I am here to buy new clubs. We went back and forth on my fitting and his job applicant, and it was clear he did not want to be bothered at that time, but continued to say Bobbie can do it, even though she has never fitted anyone before. Again, nothing against Bobbie - she was very polite - but she was admittedly unqualified. So, I just said I would go somewhere else -- and there was absolutely no objection on their part. Whether it were my old clubs or the job-applicant, it did not matter -- he had no interest in helping (even though I was about to drop $3,000 to $5,000 - whatever the amount for a whole new set of clubs).
