I couldn't be happier with the siding project completed by Al's Roofing & Siding in Hackettstown,…read moreNJ. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and professional. Amar, the project manager, was incredibly attentive to detail and kept me updated every step of the way. He provided a full booklet of siding, shingle, and gutter color samples, which made choosing from the many options surprisingly easy. I wanted my gutters to blend seamlessly with the siding, and thanks to the wide selection, I found the perfect match. Once the colors were finalized, all materials arrived quickly and the project moved forward without delay. Another huge plus is that if additional work is needed--like electrical or window-related tasks--Amar works with reliable contractors who can handle those parts as well. Overall, the entire process was efficient, well-coordinated, and stress free. I'm extremely satisfied with the results and highly recommend Al's Roofing & Siding

Our GC Triple A contractors of South Plainfield hired them to do our siding after an addition. What a mistake hiring the GC that hired Unity!!! They do not have experienced crews rather people off the street that do not know what they are doing or speak English. The brand new siding has the following wrong: Exposed sheathing Improper starter strip Bulging and popping at the seams Warping and rippling from too tight and improper nailing Missing j channels Improper seam alignment Different color soffit color Wavy trim Bent aluminum trim Open seams above windows Missing siding above portico Exposed sheathing The owner Wilmer is a con man. Even after submitting a claim to the siding manufacturing and after their investigation showed it was NOT a product defect but a result of defective improper workmanship he refused to own up to his mistakes and pay for them to be executed professionally Furthermore, he didn't even have proper commercial insurance for defective workmanship to cover such mistakes. The workers left nails all over the property and never cleaned up. His workers and him did another siding job in South Plainfield where they put up Siding without installing insulation first they left it on the front lawn. They had to take the entire siding down install insulation then reside and they still did a horrible job. I have hired them in the past for a few different projects, From pressure washing my house and deck to a few other construction projects.....But this time, they really saved me. During my bathroom remodel I discovered my toilet was leaking which created a rotten subfloor. Steel Penn Contracting showed up on a short timeframe and replaced my rotten sub floor at a very fair price and did a fantastic job! Now my tile guy can stay on his schedule! My only complaint is my own fault I wish they would have replaced the whole sub floor instead of just the rotten part considering it is more sturdy than what was there originally! When in doubt, call Steel Penn, they might just be able to save you too! Steel Penn Contracting Hardwick, NJ Fred White - Owner 973-459-1357 steelpenn.com
