When I went to the salon, every worker and customer were wearing masks and everything was clean. I ended up having to cut my appointment short but I let my stylist know when I got there that I was on a time crunch. I had only seen this gal three times. Did a nice job but last time I went my hair was longer on one side than the other, now my hair can be deceiving it's thick. It has a natural wave to it and when I get a cut it takes a day or two to settle down after it settle down It was longer on one side than the other so I called to get in to see if I can get it fixed first of all she was booked and couldn't get me in, I didn't have to wait long now but still it was an inconvenience. I went in she fix the side asked me if it was OK I said Yep it appears to be the next day after I washed it the other side needed a little thinning out, so I contacted her and asked if I could get back in, when I read the reply, I was absolutely shocked. She told me no she told me that if she trimmed up the other side, it would end up being way too thin and I would not be happy. I know my own hair what she should've said was let's make an appointment. I'll get you in here and will check it out, that is the worst customer service I have ever experienced I didn't even know how to reply at the end of her message she told me I just want you to be happy. I told her thank you you have a nice day. I found another hairstylist and she fixed it. I was completely satisfied, this hairstylist was at another company so I called angle salon left a message cancel my appointment and said we weren't hair compatible. I am not naming her name. She knows who she is. I just want to let her know now I am happy and then I wish you the best, this behavior was 100% not acceptable.

After that, even though I live in Los Angeles, I decided I wanted to start going there for haircuts since I am home in Michigan quite often. I started seeing Lauren O. and she is amazing! I love catching up with her when I'm home from LA and her balayage skills are perfection. This most recent balayage, I had a lot of people in LA ask me where I go to get my hair done and I had to tell them unfortunately for them it was 2000 miles away! It was a perfectly sunkissed look that has grown out spectacularly. This was in February and I'm going to see her again in October - and I don't even need my hair recolored. Lauren is sweet and understanding of what I want done on my hair. I hope I can keep coming to see her when I'm home!

We took him to the Alpine Great Clips location and the stylists there were even sympathetic and said she botched his hair. The Alpine GC team did their best to fix his hair so it looked ok while it grows out. We called the manager of this Great Clips (Northland Dr location) but the manager could have cared less that we were upset about our son's haircut. She even hung up on us on the phone. We are extremely disappointed that they put our son and us through all this, treated us unprofessionally and were rude, all for a botched haircut for $20. AVOID this Great Clips location at all costs.
