On the 18th of March he texted the FDNY Paramedic that he would have all the paperwork ready to file for the town permits by the next day. On April 20th she reached out to Mike Rosado in all understanding that work start dates were ambiguous, but paperwork with the town did have a 2 to 3 week timeframe. He told her that his plumber was sick, and he could not get his licensing information. She called him two weeks later to ask if his plumber was feeling better and if he would be able to do the paperwork. He told her he was confused about how to fill out the paperwork, so she agreed to do that for him. He told her he did not have a plumber, she gave him the plumber's information for her building and then he ignored her for the month of May. On June 8th, the office assistant sent her licensing and insurance information for EcoGreen, she said Mike was still working on the building plans and that Mike expected her, the Paramedic working 12 to 16 hour shift with the New York City Fire Department, to find a plumber to do the job, this was the FIRST she had heard that she was expected to act as her own general contractor in order to get EcoGreen to fulfill their contract. She called Mike, and he told her he couldn't find a plumber, that he didn't like the attitude of the building plumber and if she wanted the project done, which he knew she desperately needed done, then she had to find a plumber herself. Because apparently a company that bills itself on its website as "full-service home and business environmental restoration company serving Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland and Orange counties NY, as well as Fairfield County, CT" doesn't have access to a plumber and needs a first responder, who spends most of her time saving our lives to spend her free time, doing their job for them. Alas, she is a hard working girl that just wants a working shower, so in between her long her full time job of 12 -16 hour shifts working as a paramedic, and she finally met with a plumber who gave her an estimate of $1750 on June 16th, she called Mike on June 17th and he told her that was too expensive and she needed to keep looking. Basically forcing her to do the work of a general contractor looking for and bidding on a subcontractor for his project and doing the paperwork that still as of June 20th when EcoGreen was officially fired, they never provided the plans for a very small studio bathroom repair and basic remodel. Mike Rosado and Frank Petrullo cheated a New York City Fire Department Paramedic during a Pandemic. Send me a message, email or reach out, I will share screen shots, emails, and voicemails to verify the timeline and details of this story, because facts do matter. We are New York tough and we don't screw the people who put their lives at risk to save ours. The thing is I would rather not have to write these reviews and call them out, I would rather that EcoGreen would have done the right thing because they were given so many chances just to deliver on their promise. Does such a company that cheats the best that New York has to offer and even when they have multiple chances to fix it, and refuses to do so, deserve our hard earned money? I hope you will look elsewhere for your contracting needs, give EcoGreen a hard pass like they did a real hero.

They found hidden items- light bulbs, a plate, other items that i still don't even know where they were hidden. The results were fantastic. I mean, the place was apparently disgusting! I have no idea where or how that much dirt and grime were hidden, but there it was, pile after pile of grossness! They made sure every blade on the blinds got cleaned, every nook and cranny inspected, and no stone was left unturned. I personally noted several out of the way spots that were dusty, dirty, etc prior to their cleaning. In each instance they successfully hit the dirty spots, which left me even more confident in the job they were doing. I was left so impressed that I'm hiring them for another job today! He acknowledged the concern and said he would come back to take a look, but we never heard from him again. No follow-up, no return visit, and no effort to address the problems. What makes this even more disappointing is that my husband and the owner discovered they knew each other from years ago and have many mutual friends. Initially, we…read morewere informed that this would be a collaborative project in which they worked with the owner of the home to ensure satisfaction so we were looking forward to working with the company. However, we noticed that accessories, and appliance like the bathtup, towel racks, lighting fixtures were mostly their "idea". When they were done, there was quite a bit of cleanup that we had to bring to their attention like messy grout under the vanity which looked awful and paint causing the door to stick. There was also a lot of cleanup we had to do as there was dust all over even though they told us we did not have to move anything "out of the way". Fast forward to June, I contacted them due to several nails popping out of the "new" ceiling and they informed me that the warranty on their work had expired but as "courtesy" they would fix this item. Important to note here here is that the nails were popping out of the ceiling initially when they began the work and this was brought to their attention to which they responded that they would "take care of it". Initial issues included hot water coming out of "cold" water faucet; installation of a vanity which may have been damaged as it seems crooked as installed and the door - to this day - does not close properly. Technically, it was the wrong vanity to replace the old one as it's too high as well. Based on our experience, they do not work as collaboratively as they should with the owners. We depended on their guidance as supposed "experts in the field". I would not recommend them for bathroom remodeling.

Strange because neighbors referred Ted's service to me and they said that they did excellent work. I have called three more times to make an appointment for October, more than a month in advance, and have gotten no response. I feel that they are ignoring my phone calls. I recommend they hire someone just to answer the phone and talk with customers, or, to at least respond to their phone calls within the same day. He said it would take 2 hours, which it did, when completed my husband (who isn't as detail oriented as myself) went up to inspect and pay, he only looked at one couch. That couch was actually done properly, but the other three where terrible. I like to personally make sure I get my money's worth, so I inspected awhile later and noticed that he didn't vacuum the crevasses or under the cushions. When I called him on this - after some back and forth, he actually ADMITTED that he only did 99% of the job! I could NOT believe someone would admit to that! Who says that!?!? Anyway, after further discussion he AGAIN said that he only did 99% of the job. I must say, I absolutely lost it...I said that we should have just paid 99% of the bill! He proceeded to hang up. I am so angry I paid him in cash. So please, there are a million cleaning services out there, stay away from Ted's. Unless you like getting a job 99% done.

She really knew her stuff and explained how they would clean the house with bio-degradable chemicals (which was very important to me), and suggested a rust cleaning for a location near our chimney. She and her husband Ruben, the co-owner came to do the job on the day promised, were efficient, quick and the job was done to our complete satisfaction and for the agreed price. They worked very hard on some troublesome spots and weren't satisfied until everything was completely clean and shining. I commented on her professional manner and terrific communication skills (she called in advance when she was coming over, explained everything thoroughly) and told her that it was a very welcome bonus. She was smiling and pleasant throughout the job and I told her we would definitely call again when further exterior house cleaning jobs were required. Absolutely 5 star!
