I purchased my new Tesla Model S and will be doing a lot of freeway driving so I wanted to make sure and protect it as best I could. I've done my research on Paint Protection Film (PPF) and contacted Envious Detailing based on all the positive reviews on Yelp and also their detailed website describing the process and the benefits of it. The owner Eric was very responsive when I inquired with initial questions on the various packages they offer and was able to schedule me immediately. Turn around time was 2 days and the car looks even better than the first day off the lot! Thanks Eric and his team for a job well done! Definitely recommend for any car enthusiast who wants to protect your expensive toy! read more

I've brought five vehicles to Eric at Envious Detailing now, for a variety of services. Eric never ceases to impress me with his dedication to detail, pride, talent, and most of all his integrity, how he treats his customers, and always does the right thing. Eric does top quality work at fair prices, And I've never left feeling like I haven't gotten way more than my money's worth. Excellent results and peace of mind!!! read more

It was difficult to choose a detailing shop since it seemed like all the shops offered the same product. So I narrowed my search down to quality service and Envious seemed to check all the marks. I spoke with Eric and he was real easy to work with. This was my first time getting PPF so I knew very little and asked many questions, but Eric answered all of them clearly. He set the expectations, explained the different packages, costs, time frame, work involved, all of it. We came to an agreement and by that time, I knew exactly what I was paying for. I have to say the cost was high for a 2021 Miata, but like I said, all expenses and services were explained clearly so I made a conscious and confident decision. When I got the car back, I couldn't tell that there was PPF on the car since it was wrapped around & over the edge of the panels. Everything fit snug, there were no bad cuts anywhere, and the ceramic coating made the color really pop. You really have to pay top dollar to get quality work & service, especially with a labor intensive job. There was a reason why their pipeline were all expensive exotics aside from my Miata lol. When I need to get a new car, I am coming here. read more

Envious Detailing is the only shop you need to know for PPF and ceramic coating. Eric is very professional and helps to address all your questions. I had a partial front Suntek Ultra paint protective service done with amazing and meticulous results. I dropped off my car and the work was completed on time as stated. I would not hesitant recommending Eric and his Envious team for your car needs. They are friendly, courteous, and talented. Eric also is a fellow car enthusiast well know in the BMW M/// community. I'm not a high volume reviewer, but sometimes feel compelled to give my 2 cents when we've received exceptional service. Our car was not the fanciest in the shop and the work we requested was not as extensive as others, but Brett and Eric treated us graciously, professionally and we felt well taken care of. They were up front with pricing without any upsell pressure and gave us options. Walked us through the process and explained to us what to expect. I think the prior reviews regarding the quality of their work speak for themselves, but we absolutely agree. They know what their doing and seem to genuinely enjoy and take pride in what their doing...they ask you to come back in 1-2 wks so they can inspect your car to make sure everything is still up to their standard. At the end of the day, isn't that who you want working on your car? read more

First yelp review, and Eric and Envious Detail are exceptionally deserving of it - incredible sense of detail with meticulous work leading to an incredible end result. Clear bra in the front, Modesta ceramic coating for the whole car and wheels. Two step paint prep prior to application, with all swirls and defects completely gone. It's clear why he's one of the only Modesta dealers in SoCal, and why I traveled from San Diego for the job. He even got me to/from the train station when dropping/picking my car off/up. Will come back with my next car! read more

Even before me going there and getting work done, Eric was so accommodating to me and my schedule. I've been scouring the web and yelp to see who can perform a ppf install on my new headlights. People can beat his price, HOWEVER the quality and meticulousness of his work is worth the money. Others will just leave imperfections, Eric will get it right. He has nothing to hide and is super transparent about his work. When you enter his shop, the first thing should notice are the lights and how bright they are. You definitely know he knows what he's doing, especially in the automotive exterior care industry. The materials he uses are not the cheapo eBay quality stuff either. He's got my trust and I'll be going back to him for more work now. read more

We purchased our new BMW iX M60 with the intention of having the windows tinted and wrapped with Paint Protection Film (PPF). We researched several shops in Orange County and chose ENVIOUS DETAILING in Orange, California based primarily on the exceptional reviews we found online. Envious was neither the least expensive nor the closest shop to us but we certainly made the best decision! We could not be more impressed with the fantastic work that was done on our car and the passionate attention to detail we saw every employee express. Owner Eric Schuster and his colleague Brett gave us the confidence that we needed to make such a weighty decision. Because our car was delayed at port, we ended up making and aborting multiple appointments, which tested our patience but not that of Envious. Their gracious understanding of our schedule was greatly appreciated. When the work began we were regularly informed with texts and photos of the progress. Wrapping requires time to "cure" and properly adhere to the car, so a planned follow-up visit addressed any minor issues that required attention and completed the job. Our car looks GREAT and turns heads every time we drive. We HIGHLY recommend ENVIOUS DETAILING! read more

This review is long overdue, but I can't speak highly enough of Eric and Envious Detailing holistically. I recently had Suntek PPF Ultra installed on my IS 350 F-Sport by Envious Detailing, and the finished result is of the utmost quality. I had done an exasperating amount of research into the process of PPF and knew that installation was pivotal. I went to multiple installers in the Southern California area but decided to go with Envious Detailing because of the praise, quality of work, and more importantly, how helpful Eric was in answering all of my questions. I'm almost sure I was one of Eric's pickiest customers; I had plenty of annoying questions regarding the process, what to expect, and how he installs Suntek PPF Ultra. Eric answered each of my questions patiently and transparently. My particular vehicle has very finicky, soft, black paint; typical of Lexus and I had lowered my expectations of how perfect of a PPF install could be achieved. I'm incredibly nitpicky with even the most minute of details, but Eric performed the highest quality PPF install I have seen. He exceeded all expectations and went above and beyond to make sure the finished result was the pinnacle of PPF installation; he spent a lot of time and didn't mind me dropping in to check in on the process. There are plenty of PPF installers in the area, but I've met with most of them, and Eric was the one I felt most comfortable with performing the installation. The PPF has brought me immense peace of mind while driving and I will be referring all family members, friends to Envious Detailing. Honestly, I don't think that there anything more I can say that others haven't already said. It's cliche to say I wish I could give more than five stars, but Envious Detailing is one of the finest detailing shops I've had the pleasure of doing business with. I'll be back for future detailing, and PPF needs and would highly suggest going with Eric. read more

A long overdue review! I took my red Tesla model 3 after taking delivery in January for a 2 step paint correction, ceramic coating and window tinting (including sunroof and windshield), and the result was amazing! Wow! I'm absolutely blown away at the work that was done on my M4. I decided that I wanted to protect my investment and get a new car prep package that included full front PPF, ceramic coating, wheel coating, and window tint. After doing a good amount of research on the best detailing options in Orange County, Envious seemed to have the best reputation by a pretty wide margin. I submitted a request through their website for more info and they got back to me immediately to go over options and pricing. When I brought my car in they were able to give me a ton of information on the different services they offer and how it will protect/enhance the car, allowing me to make a more educated decision. It took them less than a week to complete the work and they kept me updated the entire time. When I went to pick up my car I was floored at the difference the work made in the overall appearance - the color pops, the metallic finish is enhanced and overall the car just looks "healthier." These guys do an amazing job and I'd recommend anyone looking to have detailing work done just save yourself the time it takes to do the research and go with Envious Detailing. I had my brand new 2018 m4 front wrapped in suntek PPF ultra by Eric at envious detailing after searching through forums for the best place for the job. If you are looking the best installer in socal, look no more. You found him. The amount of effort and time he puts into making sure that the wrap is flawless is next to none. Eric was very straight forward with the entire process and cost. He even wrapped my cf splitters that needed custom work as there was no precut film for it. Dropped off my car at 6am and picked it up at 4pm. After going over the car with me when I picked it up, he explained that if there was anything wrong with the film to give him a call and if needed he will take care of it. This man has earned a customer for life and I have recommended him to my coworker who is planning to go to Eric for PPF on his brand new 2018 WRX. Took me a good month before my car arrived stateside to determine what shop I wanted to take my 2019 M2 Competition for a full frontal clear bra install. Did a ton of research before hand as I wanted to take my vehicle in to a reputable shop that has experience. Installing a clear bra is like artwork so you definitely need to do your homework if you want good quality installation. Also, I did not want to take my car into a very big shop with large number of employees. In my opinion the more employees the harder it is to keep track of quality. I got the track package for my BMW M2 Competition. It includes full front (fenders, bumper, headlights, etc), side skirts, partial rear bumper, Eric even replaced the original BMW clear bra on the rear sides. Eric and his team did an awesome job. Best of all he did not use a pre cut kit that usually has more seams. Eric and his team is very courteous and professional. They listen, explain everything you could possibly have a question for, and are very flexible to ensure the customer is 100% satisfied/taken care of. I will and have already recommended them to family and friends. Will be returning for more services in the future. read more

I recently bought a 2013 Audi s5 and I knew I had to get some type of paint protection since it'll be my daily driver. I did some research and envious detailed pop up. I decided to come by and get a quote. About 2 weeks later I decided to go ahead and have Eric do 2 stage paint correction, full front end xpel clear bra and modesta bc-04. I dropped it on a Tuesday morning and it was done by Wednesday afternoon. When I came in that Wednesday afternoon, WOW my s5 looked brand new. The gloss and shine on it was amazing. I can't believe how great it looked. Eric didn't just do a 2 step paint correction, but he did 3 step. I can see his passion and hard work he put into it. Eric installed a partial front clear bra on my Model 3 a month ago and proved himself to be a trustworthy, high-level detailer. His perfectionist attitude revealed itself in the immaculate application of the Suntek Ultra PPF and his commitment to service was apparent when he offered to deliver the car to my house (I had eye surgery on the same day). Although our interactions were brief, Eric's professionalism left me thoroughly impressed. It feels unusual saying this, but I trust him with my car more than I trust myself with it. I looked for a reputable shop for PPF and Tint for my Tesla Model Y Performance and a full wax and interior detail of my Mercedes AMG GLE 43. Pre-Appointments: The Tesla was my first vehicle to get PPF; after much research, I realized you get what you pay for and not go cheap. Envious had one of the best reputations in Yelp and online enthusiast forums. Eric, the owner, was excellent and super attentive to scheduling and pricing options. Appointments: The staff guides you through the different options and matches your specific needs and situation, not just "top of the line" all the time. They're super articulate with answering questions so ask! Post Appointments: After having both cars serviced, I could not be happier with the results; their detailed work and rolling the edges on the PPF are outstanding, the tint was spot on perfect. The interior detail and exterior wax on the AMG were excellent and brought the white designo paint back to showroom shine. Hands down the best in the OC. read more

I cannot believe I haven't done my review for Eric yet. I got to know Eric through a friend Justin and I'm so very glad I had because there was so much to detailing I didn't understand or known about until I met and spoken with Eric. So after discussing my concerns especially regarding the fact that I baby Laura, my BMW M4, I wanted to drive my car without having to worry about every little thing that happens. Originally I had wanted to go with XPel Ultimate, but Eric convinced me to choose SunTek PPF-C instead and since I done my research I knew Eric was correct. XPel Ultimate is harder to work with and the reason why a lot of people choose XPel Ultimate is because of the 10 year warranty. However in most cases both SunTeK PPF-C and Ultimate would yellow roughly at the same time so. I instead choose SunTek PPF-C with his recommendation and I'm very glad I did. I cannot tell I have a clear bra on when most of the time I can tell with my friend's XPel Ultimate is on his M3. A few months after, I went and got my paint corrected completely and had Modesta BC-04 applied. So far it has been very good. There was some small leftover stuff I had to get cleaned off but it isn't a huge deal since it is very hard to spot without the proper lighting and in certain angles. Actually, just now I spotted a spot that we both missed but I'm not too worried about it as I plan to have Eric maintain my coating so he'll spot it, or I'll remind him. Eric has been very much willing to work with me, especially because I am overly worried and OCD about every little detail when I notice something but he taught me certain things I didn't even know about. I had no clue my paint on my 1 year Mineral White M4 required a 3 stage correct due to some paint issues I never knew about. (It is on Envious's Detailing's Instagram.) I have been able to drive my car a bit more recently as I am not as worried, as especially because I know most bird etchings can be removed (I didn't know this before.) I cannot recommend Eric enough, his price is reasonable considering how far he is wiling to go to make your paint and car as perfect as possible. I have not heard him complain when I bring up little details I noticed either. I haven't regretted having to travel over 45 minutes from Arcadia to Orange County. Thanks Eric! Great service amazing work. Everyone there is very professional and they take great car of your car. I will be taking future cars here.

I stumbled upon Envious Detailing when I was looking for a Modesta installer for my Tesla Model 3. Eric happens to be the only installer in Orange County for Modesta, and I can understand why. Modesta only works with high quality installers and ED surely is one of them. Prior to eventually choosing Envious Detailing for my coating and PPF needs, I read ad nauseam about PPF and coatings and found myself at an impasse. Even though I was still somewhat nervous about installing PPF on a white car, ultimately I decided the protection was necessary and I felt the most comfortable leaving my car with Eric. There are a lot of opinions out there about PPF (what's better, Suntek or Xpel? To wrap corners/edges or not to wrap? Custom or kit?) but in the end the single most important factor is the skill of the installer. What I appreciated about Eric's approach in answering my questions was that he was not only patient, but he kept my OCD expectations realistic when it came to the aesthetic outcome of the PPF installation. That said, the full front PPF installation (I chose Suntek Ultra over Xpel) was done just about as good as I could have expected and I am pretty pleased with the end result. If there are small bubbles or areas that have lifted that need to be trimmed, Eric is more than willing to address those issues (these issues are pretty normal). I also could not be happier with the Modesta BC-04. The car is as smooth as butter and dirt and grime just seem to fall off now. It really is remarkably hassle free. I'd also like to mention that at my request, Eric emailed me photos of the work progress while we were out of town and continuously kept me updated by email and text, which I really appreciated. We dropped off the car on a Thursday and it was ready by noon the following Monday just as he had promised. Eric's pricing certainly wasn't the cheapest, but they are reasonable for the quality of work he provides. He is not a high volume detailer that cranks out car after car. What he focuses on is quality and he treats your car like his own. I've been able to drive a little less tentatively thanks to Envious Detailing. I would recommend them without hesitation and will definitely keep them in mind for any future detailing needs. read more

After doing research online and reading reviews about automotive detailers in the Orange County area, I decided to call Eric at Envious Detailing to perform paint correction and apply protective coating on my car. After calling Eric, we decided a two step correction along with a nice coat of CQuartz Finest would be the best route to take to clean up and protect my car's paint. Perfection costs money and takes time but that's why Eric quotes at least a full day for a full paint correction. But let me tell you, it's well worth it to not have you daily driver for one day when you see just how great your paint can look when it spends 24 hours at Envious. The paint on my car has the depth of the abyss and is like glossy black glass with no sign of swirls or imperfection. People say "looks like new" when they normally get a detail but with Envious, even better. Oh and the wheels? They're clean enough to eat off of. With the protective coating, brake particles and road dust has a much tougher time sticking and causing damage. Overall, I'm really happy with the way the paint correction turned out and I feel that my money was well spent. Eric's attention to detail is the exact quality you are looking for when finding a professional detailer. Look no further, the road to perfect paint is here. read more

This guys work is just plain awesome. He is like a machine with his orbital buffer. Quality work takes time and he puts forth full effort. This place is not your everyday shop that just gets it done as quickly as possible. After about a month and a half the Modesta BC-05 coating is still like a mirror. Pictures 51-53 show just how mirror like the finish of a Modesta BC-05 coating is. Pictures were taken after a wash and a wipe down with some Modesta M1 quick shot. You can clearly see the top of the carport reflected off the horizontal surfaces. Let it be noted however that one of those brown paper towels you find at a gas station can scratch the Modesta coating. First and last time I wipe off some gas droplets with one of those things! Having had the coating on for a while and about 7k miles later; the coating has held up real well. The front of the car has a Xpel Ultimate wrap to protect from rock chips and it looks as spectacular as the rest of the car. (entire car is coated with the Modesta). After a washing and wipe down with some M1 quick shot; the car just feels so smooth. Even now I still enjoy wiping down the hood and seeing my reflection off the mirror like finish. The work done is impeccable and I highly recommend this shop. The attention to detail is second to none. read more
