Poppy's Thai have a good reputation for good Thai food and are located in a few different…read morelocations. The Croydon premise has one of the best front doors ever. Just that alone deserves a few stars. Inside, the restaurant is really nicely decked out, with an authentic feel resounding from the décor and seating arrangements. One thing I noticed first was the price. Wow, this place is quite spendy for a curry! Expect to fork out around $18 for a vegie curry alone. Add rice, bread and drinks to this and you're looking at around $40 per head for dinner, which is a little rich for Thai. That's said the food is quite good, and if you don't mind the extra expense, check out Poppy's Thai, even if it's just for the front door.
