Be wary of using this company. I strongly advise against it. They charged my card with an additional fee for some unknown reason a week after the initial charge for what I had signed up for. Now, I have to call them again and fight to get my money back. I've already wasted over three hours on the phone with these people. They are the worst--they completely messed everything up and overcharged me. They even called me, thinking I had returned the car in Florida when I hadn't. Thank you for wasting so much of my time! I called reservations and was told this location had cars. I made the reservation online then drove to the location to get my car. When I got to the branch a young woman at the desk said the manager tried to call me to say they were sold out. unfortunately, my phone is in the shop and will not be back till Saturday or Monday. I drove 40 min, one way, to this location because all the locations by my house were sold out - yet there were MANY cars in the lot. Sold out but cars in the lot??? Is your branch manager incompetent because he was the only one in the area that couldn't keep his inventory up to date? Is it IT's fault for not updating the data? Is it your regional managers fault for letting a customer be treated so poorly or is it your fault and the company culture? Why should I EVER use Enterprise again? read more

If I could give a minus 10 , I would. Reservation for a rental car was made with car pick up scheduled for 7:30 a.m. at the Route 31, Washington, NJ office. Went to the Enterprise Office, to find that no car was available, just a large pick up truck, that I would not feel safe or comfortable attempting to drive. Reluctantly agreed to being picked up in a few hours, when car would be available. Cancelled a morning class accordingly. Called Enterprise at 10:45 a.m., when I hadn't heard from them, as was promised. Still no car available, told there were "unforseen circumstances". Was again offered the truck, which I again stated that I didn't want. This necessitated cancelling an extremely important medical appointment, which had been scheduled for noon. The Enterprise rep was advised of this appointment at 7:30 a.m. this morning, when we first attempted to pick up the car. I am extremely dissatisfied with this lack of service, and poor representation of the Enterprise name. read more

The rental car I got was brand new and it drove really well. The customer service was awesome and everything went very smoothly.

Picked up a SUV and was told they only had a BMW X3 and didn't realize it had 4 bald tires!! Drove over 500+ miles to visit very sick family members in Rural WV. Once I got to their home and tried to leave to go to the store I had an alert that my tire had an issue, sure enough it was flat! I called their road side assistance at 11am and through a series of questions I was told they had to pick the car up with a flatbed since BMW does not have spares. They also had to arrange for car to be delivered and they had a hard time finding a place. 1st call was 1-1/2 hrs long, 2nd call was over 1 hr long as well. No firm answers but was promised to call back and give update. Tow truck driver arrived at 5:30pm to pick up BMW and the replacement car was delivered at 8:30pm (driver drover 3-1/2 hrs to get to us) that night. I am grateful for the tow truck drivers to come out, but my concern is what if I was stuck on side of road for all those hours? I was in very rual WV with no cell service and only a landline to use at the end of a gravel road which only was wide enough for 1 car to drive through. I called this location where I rented it yest and told them what happened and the response I got was what did you run over? AND BMW has self inflating tires to get you to a location to get the tire replaced. I explained I was in the middle of no where and there is NO PLACE to go and get it replaced or repaired!! His response was oh, well what do you want from us? I want my time back to be able to focus on my very sick family members that I drove over 500+ miles to take care of and not spend the day on the phone with a tire problem!! AND I don't feel I should have to pay for any of the 3 day rental. His response was well you only had a problem for 1 day so I can give you credit but only charge you for 1 day service. AND don't forget when you get a call asking about our service please give them a good response about our location. I was floored!!! I just finished explaining that I had driven out to take care of the needs of very sick family members and you think after all I went through my main concern is to give you a good review!!!! You definitely need to take more Customer Service classed!! read more

I picked up a rental on Monday and returned it by noon on Tuesday. Since there wasn't anyone in the Washington NJ location when I went to return the car I drove it to the car dealer one quarter mile down the road on Route 31 and left it there. I saw my Amex bill from them today and they charged me over 300 for the rental. Of course no one is there today to discuss this matter. Beware of Enterprise. read more
