I had an issue with my car where I needed a rental fairly quick. My insurance placed a request with this Enterprise and as soon as the request was put in, I got a call from Enterprise. So quick, I was still on the phone with my insurance. I called back, and they told me a car would be available at 4pm the day of. I get there on time and within about 5 minutes I was out of there in a rental for the coverage of my insurance. Once my vehicle was ready, I called to see how I would go about returning the car. Mike said, "just drop it off at the shop and we will send someone to get it there. No worries. We will call you once we have the vehicle and let you know that all checked out when we inspect the car". He later called me and said everything was good and that if I needed anything else to call them. Fast, convenient and friendly! I left with great impression! I called Enterprise to see what I needed to bring paperwork wise, I got there and they told me I couldn't use a government debit card, I asked if I can use a friend's credit card they said yes, my friend came all the way down to find out that they couldn't, they would have to rent a car for me in their name which I was not comfortable with. They wanted $400 down, then they tried to put me in the cheapest piece of crap that they could and try charging me a midsize car price for a Mitsubishi, disgusted I found out that two doors down, walking distance was just four wheels. I went in not only did they help me out they only wanted half the money down and bent over backwards to help me. If you read this hopefully you will skip over going to Enterprise for anything and just go to businesses down same side delsea drive you will be so much less stressed out! read more

Was in a accident and had a rental through the other parties insurance company from enterprise. The gentleman at the desk that helped me was polite and handled my service. Though there was a lot of cars on the lot it appeared that most vehicles were out of service and after about 30 mins of negotiates I was able to get a vehicle that would suit my needs but, of course had to wait another 30mins to have it cleaned and ready to go. My experience overall was pretty good and dropping the vehicle back off was easy enough. I did have a friend that scheduled and paid for a vehicle from this location months in advance and was given a date when he could pick up the vehicle. When he called the day before his appointment date to ensure all was good he was informed that they were closed that day and there was no vehicle available for him. Mind you he picked a vehicle and paid and was given the appointment date by enterprise. They wouldn't do anything to correct the issue except telling him he could drive 40 mins up the road to another location and he still couldn't get the vehicle he wanted, this was enterprise Corp telling him this not this Particular location. He ended up going with another company in town and saved over $200 dollars. This did not happen to me but keep this in mind if you ever reserve something through them that you still may not get a vehicle you requested and they might not even be there. I try not to put others experiences in my reviews but I felt that his situation was so bad and could really ruin someone's vacation or trip that I had to share it, I did not rate upon his experience but only my own. I feel their rates are high and I would go elsewhere if I was the one paying for a rental, there are cheaper rates in town. read more

NEW UPDATE on Enterprise in Vineland. NJ. After writing a bad review on 10/20/14 about the issue I had with them ... I did get a response and a phone call today from the Branch Manager and he has told me thet Enterprise would reimburse me my $500 that they charged on my credit card. They were able to buff out the scratch on the car .. at no charge to me. I feel good that we have resolved this matter to my complete satisfaction Therefore , I am now changing my rating to a 3 star. When a car dies on you unexpectedly, you can't always purchase a vehicle the very next day. Cue the need for a rental. My wife had all the interaction with this business as I sat waiting with the children. It went well. The car was clean and efficient. It wasn't terribly expensive. They were helpful. When we did purchase our car a week later, Enterprise were quite helpful shuttling my wife from Enterprise to the dealership. We hope we never need this service again, but if we should, we were happy enough with Enterprise to return. read more

If you're in need of a rental, I highly recommend Enterprise. I was in and out in 10 minutes flat. People complain about them holding a couple hundred dollars collateral but that's called good business! You get the money back direct deposit within a day or two of returning the car, requiring it's still in the shape you picked it up in. I'm guessing if you have the money to rent a car, you have the money that'll make you drive and treat the car as if it's your own so you get your deposit back. I've had to use them several times without issue and have never had a single complaint. I had an emergency situation and they were there to bail me out with top notch, friendly customer service. We will never rent from you again nor will we ever recommend your services. We were on emergency leave from the military for a family emergency and were renting for 2 weeks. George from your Vineland nj location did a walk around the vehicle with us and every thing we noted to write down (scratches, dents, scuffs) he failed to write down because he said they were minor. Upon returning the vehicle, we were told that we were being charged for those dents we already reported prior. George sat there and lied while the report was filed. This is not what we needed after dealing with a death in the family. Is this kind of scandalous behavior how you thank your troops? Awful...never again. read more

Every year I take my family to Florida. I ALWAYS rent from Enterprises, not only are their prices reasonable, but their services have never failed me. Two years ago, I needed a ride back home, during one of our snowstorms, the driver took his time and made sure he got me home safely. This year, I left my car parked in their lot, when I returned from Florida and went to return car I had rented, I went to start my car.....the battery had died. I went into the building to find out if any of the Reps, had jumping cables. Every Rep. checked their personal cars to see if they had jumping cables. Finally one Rep. managed to have one. He jumped my car and stayed until my car was finally "charged" up. I have ALWAYS experienced nothing but great service from them. The forms to fill out is as easy as 1-2-3......I will never go anywhere else to rent. I thank all the Reps for their help and making sure my trip is comfortable and no extra hassle. The ONLY problem I did have this year, was the size of the car. It was a. it two small for four people traveling, but we made the best out of it.
