I visited several, including their headquarters with a wounded hawk at the entrance, a rainforest-y loop trail, and a splendid-looking waterfall. Individually, the sites were nice but not the best the state has to offer, but when one considers the sum total of various environs and the fact that Tennessee state parks do not charge admission, I struggle to criticize. I noted that a park ranger gently pushed someone to leash their dog on the trail without getting into a confrontation.

My elderly sister was involved in a wreck in Shelbyville when her car ended up being totaled as it…read morewould be more expensive to fix it than it was worth. Her insurance blessed her with a rental car for a specific period of time so we can get her a replacement. This happened to be through Enterprise. Initially it had referred us to the little satellite office in Tullahoma, TN, where I first had contact with Maximillian... and got set up for when we would be ready, and what kind of car Sandy would be comfortable in. (We now follow each other on Instagram... how funny is that? Great guy!) He didn't have the Nissan Altima she prefers at the time, but the insurance also hadn't settled. Once I got confirmation from her insurance (I have power of attorney) of what she needed to do re the title of the drivable yet totaled car, I called Tullahoma and spoke with Dominique. They only had trucks available... remember, these are small satellite offices, and despite the ads that say "they will pick you up", they can't. It's cool, though. The superior service makes up for it. He said Maximillian would be in the Shelbyville location at the airport! AWESOME, as we live in Shelbyville... right? I had conversed with Max on Instagram about the rental, and finally got a chance to meet him in person. He was supposed to call when an Altima was turned in... but it didn't show on the Thursday it was expected. So I called him and said I'd bring her down to see what they had. We got there, and he's such a nice guy. Falls over backwards to accommodate the customer. He showed Ms. Pickiest Person On Earth a couple of choices, and I made her get in a crossover. Told her basically to shut up and trust me on the comfort factor. SHE LOVED IT. She has to have a certain steering wheel size as the smaller ones make her shoulders hurt. If the seats curve up on the sides, it hurts her hips... (she's kinda broad in the beam...) so the crossover/SUV type is more compatible. She didn't believe me until now. The Altima price would have been about $27.95/day I think... and given her more rental time. Maximillian dropped this expensive one down to $31.95/day to help her. God bless him!!! He said he'd call as soon as they got one. He really does go above and beyond, and I believe this rings true for his coworkers... I also spoke with a Jacob. Another fine young man Want to rent a car? I'm saying Enterprise is the way to go. It is for us!
