Arrived and had to wait 30 mins to get checked in and everyone before me had their rental right after the check in. I however had to wait another 20 mins. Making my total check in time an hour long. They asked how the car was if everything was satisfactory I said yes Car was great and then they asked if everything had gone smoothly with my check in process which I proceeded to tell them the experience and I made it very clear that the staff/personnel was great. It was just the matter of the time that I had to wait, and they were completely apologetic and they even made it up to me which obviously made me a very happy customer again I was not complaining about the personnel rather just the amount of time I waited. read more

I was scheduled to be picked up by Enterprise at 3:30. At 3:45, while standing in the rain I call to see if they're on their way. "We're short staffed today. We'll try to pick you up at 4:30" I'm told. Hmmm? Couldn't they call me to tell me no one is on their way I ask myself? "No worries, I'll take an Uber" I say. When I arrive, at their office on 22nd Street no one is even in the office and phones are ringing unanswered. I sit and wait. When someone finally comes in the office I am told they do not have the car we reserved and I have to go to another location. I say to the manager, "You failed to call me to tell me no one is picking me up. And secondly, you could have called me to tell me you don't have my vehicle." I didn't raise my voice, I did not use foul language. "You're in the customer service business" I explain. "I understand you're short staffed today but it just takes a quick phone call." The manager then says, "If you're going to be rude you can wait outside in the rain." Wow! I guess explaining their poor customer service makes me a Karen. "If you don't leave I'll call the police" she adds. Once she noticed I had my camera out and could possibly be video taping her she ducked and hid behind the counter. She changes her tone, "You can sit inside until your Uber comes" she says from her hiding place. Wow. Just wow, I have never had an experience like this with Enterprise. We rented a car from Enterprise located next to Caliber Collision on Euclid, just South of Broadway in Tucson, AZ. This evening, we had a blowout at I-10 and Cortaro North of Tucson. Enterprise gave us three choices: 1) Fix the tire myself; 2) Pay an exhorbitant fee for Enterprise to fix it, or 3) Wait six hours for Enterprise to bring us another car. We had chosen the extra payments for emergency repairs and roadside assistance. read more

They helped me out when I needed a car while my truck was being fixed. I did not get a loaner vehicle from the dealer, so I had to pay for the car myself. They were very helpful as I had to change plans twice, and when I returned my car, they helped adjust for the changes in my need for the rental. I am so glad I chose this location! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would! This experience started great with Enterprise meeting me at the body shop for pick up. After one day of having the vehicle, I noticed that the smell inside was indeed smoke. So I called to inform them and spoke with Steve (manager) who was very nice and encouraged me to come in for an exchange. I gathered all of my items out of the car when I then found a pack of unopened marijuana from a dispensary. This let me know that the car was definitely not detailed after the last return. The second vehicle also did not appear to be detailed as it has dirty rugs, crumbs, and dust inside but at least it didn't smell of smoke so I dealt with it. I received a call on the last day of my rental informing me to drop off at enterprise. I questioned this due to them meeting me at the body shop during the pick up process. I was told that I had to bring it to them and that they closed at 5:30. Due to the body shop not finishing with my personal car until 5:10, I arrived at the enterprise for return at 5:20. I was greeted by the assistant manager who was very polite at first and then he proceeded to tell me that it was too late for them to drive me to the body shop to pick up my car and that whoever called me should have told me the cut off time for this service. I insisted that I be taken to my car because I was not informed of any cut off time. Only that they closed at 5:30. He stated that he had to get his people "out at 5:30". He then told me that someone could take me to the body shop but it would be in their personal vehicle, because they were off and driving in that direction. It left me feeling very vulnerable and uncomfortable to say the least. In addition to that, the employee (Darren) was off the clock and technically working by taking me to my car pick up location. We rented a van that we were told the car had just been returned. There were numerous dents and scratches which was documented. While on the freeway a part of the trimming fell off (not by being hit or hitting anything). We checked and found it was a $50 part. We had outside insurance. We were told the "damage" originally was $1,300. They have since upped the cost to $1,800 claiming that we owe for the damage that was already there. We tried contacting Enterprise Damage Recovery and they won't respond. Tried contacting by phone, email and Priority mail. They won't respond. This is unacceptable! We shouldn't be responsible for damage already there. In my opinion we shouldn't even be responsible for a part that just fell off. Horrible customer service and bad business practice!! read more

Arrange for a truck rental for Friday the 20th returning the truck on the 22nd was told I could pick it up at 8 AM on the 20th at 5:30 PM on the 19th. They called me and said they would not have a truck for me until after 12:30 PM on the 20th I am a contractor and had scheduled a number of appointments from 9 AM to 1 PM. The temperature tomorrow in Tucson it's supposed to be 112° didn't want to be outside from 1 to 5 in the heat I asked the representative why it took them 5 1/2 hours to contact me. Her response was we've had a very busy day, sir, I'm highly suspicious of ever using this company again they obviously have very poor customer service and do not care about upsetting customers at nearly $150 a day. DO NOT EVER USE THIS LOCATION! This location will hassle and harass you if you need your car longet. The manager Krista, treated myself and the Uber driver she called like we were 2 years old. She took my payment for the past week and the car then proceeded to tell me when I handed her the same charge card back that they couldn't take that card. She was extremely rude every time we talked called me a liar and wanted the Uber driver to drive in an unsafe place wher previously she had picked up nails in her tire on the Enterprise property. This Is only a few occurances of what happened. I'm a frequent user of Enterprise and had my vehicle for 4 months. If they treat someone who spent 4 to 5k this way, how about the one who only rents a week? Needless to say that's no longer the case anymore for me and I've let our insurance company and others know too to avoid them And use a different company which they will now do. Avoid this Enterprise location like the plague as they lie and laugh behind your back and Krista the manager apparently teaches her employees to also. They do have a huge turnover! I got a confirmation number for my reservation. when i arrived at 12:03pm, the branch manager said he didn't have an intermediate vehicle and kept trying to push a truck on me for a higher rate, indicating that he could not honor the price I was given in my reservation. When it was time to get the car I were told that there were no cars and they had no idea if or when a car would become available. No one at Enterprise reached out to me to inform me of this challenge, try to help or offer an alternative or apology. I was ignored and left stranded by Enterprise. I have been a loyal enterprise customer because I always felt I would be treated better if I was willing to pay you a little bit more. it is my believe that when I company operates on the smallest possible margin there is no room for good customer service anymore. I have been helped a lot at this location in the past. Today I needed more assistance than I got. I had been dropped off and I was told that it would be 7 hours before they were any cars available. I explain the situation and was told I loved to far away. This lack of creativity on my behalf surprise me and dismayed me. I eventually decided to hail a Lyft driver. I feel sad and confused. Do NOT expect customer service to be the first thing that you get coming into this location. Reserved vehicle on Thursday and verified on Friday over the phone with an agent at the branch. Today I went to pick up my car, all was good until my debit card "couldn't be verified with my address" whatever that means, then I was asked for a recent pay stub and an up to date bill for verification of where I lived. I produced my paystub and offered my cell phone bill, mortgage bill, and car insurance bill which I was told none of those bills qualify to show where I live-right because I have a mortgage and another place I live in the times we're in. The agent then rolled her eyes at me and gave me attitude when I asked to explain why those documents wouldn't work and then just repeated what she needed to see. I told her that's all I had and she said "well since you don't have a credit card I can't rent you a vehicle" and walked away while saying "have a good day." After leaving the location I immediately called enterprise corporate and I was told that a cellphone bill AND paystub is more than enough documentation. After hearing this I feel like the location I went to just doesn't want to help customers and don't care enough to get someone who NEEDS a rental car. I will not be renting from this location in the future, as for enterprise in general they will get one more chance from me. read more

I have rented from Enterprise for years in various places and have been lucky to have had great service and no real issues. They are literally the only car rental company I use for my frequent travels. Unfortunately my good streak ended with this location. Today I went to pick up the car I reserved and walked in to hear that they did not have the car...or any car. If this was the first time this happened I would have likely been more patient, but this same thing happened to me at this location a couple of months ago when myself and three other people did not have the cars we reserved. It took 2 hours to get into a car after they drove us to the airport location to get one. Today I was offered a passenger van for my drive from Tucson to Monterey California and was told that would be a sufficient fix for the problem. Not wanting to spend serious money on wasting gas in a giant passenger van I said no. I was on a tight schedule and needed to just pick up my car and go, but was told I would need to wait awhile or come back. Not leaving on time means that rather than drive straight through to make my conference I had to pay for a hotel stay because I left too late. Additionally I was supposed to drop off my car at the repair shop to be worked on while I was gone. I ended up having to drive my own car and hope no problems come up. So no car, schedule thrown off, money wasted because someone couldn't take the time to look at the reservations for the day and make sure the cars were actually there to rent to customers. I decided to leave and never use this location again. Hope this helps someone not be in the same situation. read more

Terrible customer service by the manager KRISTA CHICO. My rental vehicles battery died and I had it towed back to switch to another rental with no problem or additional information from the front desk rep. Come to find out there was a damage claim put in without my knowledge which I called in to figure out the situation. The Manager KRISTA CHICO who was not at the front desk helping me with this says that she was there and her front desk rep explained to me that there was a damage claim put in. Which was not true and she also said I gave them my insurance information when I was there to put the claim in when they already had it on file. Which was another lie I'm not opposed to handling what I need to but you need to let your customers know what the situation is and let them figure out what steps they want to take next. Instead of receiving a random email days later. Her attitude was atrocious and highly disregarding of the customers concern to how they do business. Never going back there again her attitude, leadership and training of her staff needs to improve 100%. read more

Not sure how I feel. I always use Enterprise because they offer pickup/dropoff. I don't always use it, but that's what hooked me in the first place. Anyway, this last time, I think I was overcharged. I had the car for 1 week and 3 days, but got charged for 2 weeks. On top of that, the car I used was not that great. It had clearly been in a wreck at one time. There was no pamphlet in the glove box that explained how to use the features. For example, satellite radio. All I could get was advertising asking me to buy satellite radio. I'm not sure if you could actually get satellite radio...a brief manual would have helped...but, whatever. The trip is over. read more

I normally don't post on here, but I want to save as many people from my experience as possible! I had a claim through American Family Insurance because of a rear end collision. My adjuster happened to be an in shop adjuster since AFI worked with that particular shop. Unfortunately due to a delayed delivery of some parts that were unexpectedly needed my rental car needed to be extended for 4 days. At the time I made sure that the adjuster made the necessary changes so I wouldn't have a problem with being charged for the extra days. A couple days later I called Enterprise for a couple of rental questions and at that time David said that the rental was not extended and I would be charged for it when I brought it back! I immediately called my adjuster and notified him of the situation. He called them, told them of the situation and called me back when it was worked out. A couple of business days after I dropped off the rental car I noticed the 50$ hold was still on my card and I called back. They said the rental agreement was not extended. So not only would I not get my 50$ back but I would be being charged another 100-120$ on top of that. They said they had spoken to AFI about it earlier that day which I knew couldn't have been true so I once again called the claims adjuster and notified him of what was going on and I conferenced in Enterprise. To which we spoke with them and they were told he was there point of contact not the customer service representatives at AFI he already had sent the notes to them they were to just bill AFI and it would be taken care of. If they read the notes he sent over this wouldn't have happend. They need to be trained better, it's too bad this experience happened because I will ride the bus before I rent from them, ever... read more

I have used this enterprise on 22nd/Craycroft so many times. They are excellent. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. My car was at the mechanic's and I needed a car for a few days. I made the reservation on line. I just need a "basic car" just to get around Tucson. I went to Enterprise Car Rental the next day hoping to pay $128 for the 2 days. (as stated on line and printed off the page) The guy kept saying "No Surprise Guarantee" throughout the entire pick up process - until it came time to pay the $128. They wanted to put a $250 hold charge on my card. He said it was "company policy" I asked what happened to the No Surprise Guarantee?? He said again, it was just company policy. I used the car for 2 days and took it back. A different guy processed the drop off and after everything was paid and the $250 hold released, he asked what I thought of the service? I told him about the $250 "Surprise" and he too said it was just company policy. I told him I have never had a rental car company place an excess hold on my card and he said "they all do it." So, I asked if he currently works for all the rental car companies or is he calling me a liar?? Silence. I left and he said "have a nice day". It would not be so bad if the "hold policy" was at least advertised so a customer would know before coming to rent a car. read more

This was by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I was getting my car fixed at the dealership a few doors down. I walked over and waited 20 minutes to even be seen by anyone, even though there were only two other customers in the store because the teenage girls running the place were either standing around talking to eachother, or fumbling around on their computer system they weren't trained how to use. After I was finally seen I explained that I'd been in an accident and my insurance would be paying for the rental. They said that I had to have a claim number for them to be able to wave the fee. Since i didnt have it, i gave them to number of the dealership to straighten it out. They flat out refused. So I walked all the way back to get the claim number myself. When I returned and asked me for a credit card just because they "needed one on file" I told them that I had lost my debit card and was awaiting a new one in the mail. They said they would once again be unwilling to help. I tried to give them my bank account number, my mom's credit card number, even my boyfriend said they could use his card, but of course once again they refused. I even told them that i didnt have a ride back to my house because my car was being worked on. They literally said oh well, not our problem. They were seriously going to have me walk 8 miles in the middle of the desert back to my house. And since there was no manager running the establishment there was nothing I could do. I was forced to walk back to the dealership where luckily they were able to set me up with one of their cars. Thanks for nothing enterprise!! read more
