Went to pick up a rental after my wife's car ended up in the body shop due to a rear end collision (other drivers fault). First , we were upgraded from a Jetta to a Camry (plus). Second the woman who was helping us came out and went over the dings and other issues (plus). She also reviewed with us how the car functioned and etc (plus). My friend who drove me to the rental agency was totally impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail. He travels and rents cars all over the US, and stated that he has never this kind of detail (plus). I agreed. Returning the car during non-business hours went without a hiccup (plus). We recently travelled to Maine from California to see the fall colors. When driving to Acadia we got into a car accident and could not drive the car any further. Thanks to Conner at the Enterprise Thomaston office, our trip was not ruined. His customer service was amazing. He problem solved all our options and, despite it being peak season, was ultimately able to secure us another vehicle. He worked so hard to care for us, while also helping the other customers in his office. It is not often one meets such a capable, dedicated, caring employee. Terrible, closed during business hours. Messed up my reservation. When you call the phone hangs up on you after holding for a certain amount of time. I drove to the location on Friday, parking lot full of mad customers. Once I did talk to someone they informed of a waiting list, I was not on it but the reservation was put in a week ago. Worst car rental company I have ever dealt with. read more

The staff could not have been more accommodating. Even though short staffed, they went out of their way to pick me up and return me to my destination. They were willing to stay late if I was late returning. Nice people to do business with. read more

Rental itself was fine - after dropping off I was called and accused of causing damage. I sent photos that I had taken prior to leaving in the vehicle, showing the damage they spoke of, and that it had clearly occurred prior to my pick up. They then advised that I was "off the hook" for the damage that I didn't cause and they would "eat the cost". They then stated that I did not return it with enough gas... not mentioned during initial call when they accused me of damage. Document everything. read more

This company has perfected bait and switch. You can go online and reserve a specific level of vehicle but if this location doesn't have it you are out of luck. I even went to the office earlier in the week to make sure I could get the vehicle I wanted. When I went to get it --- too bad and I'm very sorry was best I could get. I'm only giving it some stars because they were able to find my keys and I was able to return my car, but let me tell you that the experience here was terrible. Yes, I was dropping my car off on a Sunday (closed), but the drop box was jammed and I was forced to find an alternative to drop the keys off. Luckily the air conditioner system had a gap where I was able to throw the keys in, but what a hassle. Not to mention there was no taxi or shuttle service to the airport. Never again would I go through this experience. read more

Watch out! I rented a car there for 3 days and returned the car well prior to the deadline after the end of day 3. They charged me for 4 days! I called the location to inform them of their billing error. They said they would either call me back or correct the bill. They did neither. I have proof that I was only in the area for 3 days. I'm having to go through a lot of hoops to rectify this situation. I'll probably rent from a different company in the future. read more
