I have twice made "confirmed" reservations (the first time online, and the second time over the phone directly with the staff at this location) and both times showed up to learn that they did not have a vehicle for me. I presume the problem is with the Discount reservation/tracking system rather than with the local staff, who seem nice enough, although a phone call in advance would've been nice to say they no longer had a vehicle for me rather than waiting for me to show up. If you actually need a vehicle on a certain date, you're better off going with a more reputable company than Discount. You will save money in the end by not having to rearrange travel plans. This company does not deserve to be in business.

When we arrived in Charlottetown, they had no cars and several other groups came in while we were there with confirmed reservations and no car either. We stood around for 2 hours while they made phone calls but no luck. They said no one had any cars available. They admitted their reservation system doesn't track how many cars they have. We are part of an orchestra and this delayed our plans. No compensation so far. We finally left and rented from Budget (lots of cars available) but paid twice as much. Disgraceful! I get there and he's like you look online for the price of other vehicles. nooo I didn't. ends up charging me +200 more than originally it was. dude should've gave me the same price as i got quoted for or something. then the car has a light on its dash, I even tried to take it back after driving it just around the block and it wasn't switching gears properly and felt like you were on a rollercoaster. Was not normal! he rest assured me it was fine and nothing was wrong with the vehicle, made me feel stupid and crazy. Wasted so much time, slow service, I wish I had gone somewhere else.
