I think we spent in total less than 15 minutes at the building (pick up AND drop off included!). On both encounters, we were greeted kindly and helped swiftly. They have a bathroom inside their building for customers that was well kept. I would definitely use Enterprise again for future car rentals. I had a great experience at this location. My car was in the ship at Dick Genthe chevrolet down the street and they didn't have any cars to loan me so they sent me here. Conrad Herring provided great service. The process was simple and smooth. He gave me all the information up front. Signing up for the car was quick and easy, I was provided a car I was comfortable with driving, and a thorough inspection before I left. Conrad did all the talking with my dealership to make the payment arrangements. He was responsive to email when I had some follow up questions. Later that week he made the checkout process smooth and easy too. He was friendly, courteous, efficient, and anticipated almost all of my questions before I needed to ask. When I compared Enterprise prices to their competitors online, I found their prices by far the most favorable. Would definitely go back based on the service. read more

This place will get my 5 stars if I could give them 10 I would. I will never in my life go with hertz again. Learned my lesson the hard way. Thank you Robert Bellon & the other worker I didn't get his name (so sry) but when we returned the car on telegraph rd you was there helping a customer with a truck. Anyways. Me & my husband came in there so distraught after what hertz did to us. Us thinking our NY family vaca would be put on hold because we needed a SUV fast!! These two men heard our story and seen how upset we was within 5 mins they got us in a SUV and we was out the door in 20 mins no joke. They even matched the price hertz gave us a dollar cheaper. It is very rare that an employee goes above and beyond so I wanted to let you know. I rented a vehicle for the day as my vehicle was at the shop get brakes repaired. I arrived to return the vehicle that same day but didn't realize that the office closes at 6pm....I arrived at 6:10pm. Luckily the representative Ashley was very polite and offered to check me out so I didn't have to come back in the morning. This not only saved me the inconvenience and hassle of having to get up early but really showed me that there are employees who take pride in their work and really go out of their way to help their customers. I've been a loyal Enterprise customer for years and will continue to use them because they truly do go out of their way and they also pick you up! Thanks for a great experience. read more

I rented a van from the Southgate, Mi , store. I had a discount code from my employer. When i went to the rental store, the agent quoted me a price twice what i had seen on-line. He did not use my code at all and tried to convince me prices change dramatically from day-to-day ! I went home and booked online and got the discounted price The service when i picked up the van was excellent. Brandon, the agent, was very courteous and helpful. The van functioned well snd we were happy. The service was excellent on our return also. read more

There are fewer and fewer times when customer service is so fantastic that you just have to write a review. My recent rental from Enterprise in Southgate was one of those times. From the moment we walked in Jared was so helpful, getting us set up with our last minute reservation, ensuring the car was freshly cleaned when we picked it up, and working with us later when we had an to arrange dropping the car off at the airport after closing time. I had to call him several times during the rental and he was always incredibly nice and took care of us so well that I have now made Enterprise my first choice whenever I travel. Why can't you post no stars ? This place doesn't deserve any. I've used this location twice and had nothing but shitty service. Rude, unaccommodating, will not work with you. They don't care if they get your business or not. The only reason I used this place the second time is the location. The city of Southgate was paying for a rental because their fire truck hit me but I was told I had to get it on that Monday so it was the only feasible option. I brought in a copy of my license which is all I had since I lost mine and was waiting for the new one. They would not accept it even though that is what I was told to use until I received my new one. It has my photo, drivers license number, etc. Its an exact copy of my license ! The manager said because it wasn't a plastic version he couldn't accept it. He really said that ! Enterprise picked me up all right AND TOOK ME FOR A RIDE. Oh and A different guy, than the one who picked me up, then took me back home. He didn't say a word the whole way. Didn't answer when I spoke to him. When I gave him directions, he didn't respond. Was not friendly. At least the first guy who picked me up was friendly and that's the only thing that was OK about this experience ! Go anywhere but here !!!! read more

I needed to get a vehicle at the last minute to be able to make it to an important business meeting. Not only did they call around to find me the Nissan Maxima I was looking for, but they made sure I got in & out so fast that I would make my meeting. I rent from this location often for work purposes and 9 out of 10 times it is a pleasant experience. Sometimes I do have a long wait because they are busy and sometimes I do encounter an employee that isn't in the best mood. Tia is my favorite employee there. Worst experience at this location. An assistant manager doesn't like to hear anything you have to say, will consistently talk over you repeating the same sentence. They did an unauthorized charge to our charge card after our deal was done and the car was returned. When we called to find out what the charge was for we were told that the car we rented was an upgrade and we should have been charged for it. Then the story changed when we called back and the reason was the insurance company did not send full payment but they should have called first. After repeated calls we did get it resolved but we were never treated with respect. Manager was NEVER available, he was usually on vacation or out to lunch or gone home for the day. read more

I made a reservation by talking on the phone with an agent from Enterprise and I received confirmation of my reservation. When my reservation time came up this branch told me they did not have any cars and to wait another hour. I called an hour later and they said they still didn't have anything but they would call as soon as something was available. They never called. It seems to me that a large company like this would try to honor the reservations. Something simple like, "We don't have any cars here but found one at a nearby location and would be happy to drive you there". Instead, they said nothing. This is not even basic courtesy and a terrible way to treat a customer who has a confirmed reservation. This branch should not be trusted. If you need a vehicle to get around and don't want to be stuck waiting for them to fulfill their end of the agreement you should try a more reliable company. I have used Enterprise many times but think I need to shift allegiance. read more
