This was a great experience the customer service here is better than any enterprise I'd been to before. They made the whole process easy and the staff so friendly and professional. I'll be sure to only use this location from now on. If you need a car these are your guys ! read more

Booked an SUV 2 months in advance and received a call 2 days before our pickup date from Rocky Point Enterprise stating they don't have the car for us. The male on the phone was very negative and non apologetic and told us the airport 30-45 minutes away had a large SUV we could rent. Upon calling the airport they let us know they wouldn't honor the original price and they couldn't guarantee the vehicle would be available. Very poor way to run a business and despite 2 months notice they couldn't come up with a car!!!! read more

My husband booked this for me the day before. I was in NY and was staying longer than originally planned and my husband was able to get a better price from them. So I had to drive all the way to the airport to return the Budget rental before picking this one up. In the past I have used Enterprise several times - in fact MOST of the time. I have always been able to drop off at another Enterprise. This place wanted to charge me a $50 fee. Had I have known they didn't work the same as other Enterprise's I would have never returned other car (it wasn't that much cheaper and now Enterprise was actually more) Then the guy tells me to wait while he goes and cleans up the car. I hear him outside the back door vacuuming the car. The outside of it was filthy and you could see drip marks on the door and dash like someone spilled something. But I guess I should be happy he vacuumed it. Then the gas was only at 1/3 of a tank! The phone rang several times while I was there but he was out back and no one else was inside. Sorry Enterprise you really let me down here. read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Empty office for 10 minutes - Car Rental Near Me - Rocky Point, New York

See all

I needed a rental car due to a car accident. My experience was a very positive one. Filomena was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. Michelle called to follow up to ask me how my rental car was, and Danny picked me up from the collision place and drove me to enterprise and he was extremely nice as well. I would highly recommend using this company if you need a rental car. read more

1 STAR IS LOWEST I COULD GIVE - RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION Clean? My vehicle came with a Clorox wipe someone tried to open with their teeth and couldn't, tried the other side, then left it in the center console. Plus it smelt a taxi. Why is it legal to rent cars in NY state with no front license plate when that's illegal in this state and can get its drivers a minimum ticket if $75? But you claim great customer service enterprise? Please.. This place has such a serious case of an absent operations department, negligent management, 0 customer service training, plus the dregs of society who lie to cover their own tracks after you play back their OWN VOICEMAILS YOU SAVED ON YOUR PHONE. Start of my experience: Filomena, the associate who turned over the rental to me, dropped her cell phone while taking an extra 20 minutes to "tidy it up because she didn't like the way they cleaned it" in the vehicle. After just getting home from picking up my rental I was then expected to drive back and drop her cell phone off, to correct her mistake. Come pick it up girl, you clearly do enough sitting all day.. AllState is my insurance carrier who has informed me they have a strict contract with enterprise and can NOT rent through other companies, believe me I've asked numerous times. AllState covers any claim for the first 15 days automatically, 30 max (after wasting hours on the phone to get an extension) as per my policy. Filomena and enterprise feel it's 'solid procedure' to call every other day for updates, telling you to call AllState, the body shop - mind you their time could be spent making these calls themself. I pay AllState for insurance coverage, and I pay enterprise for the rental over AllStates allowance... why should I do your job? Isn't insurance's sole purpose to make these situations less stressful? Dealing with enterprise, especially the RP branch will only increase it. If you have a contract with each other, it should come with some customer service, or communications amongst YOURSELVES at a minimum. You then return their calls and automated service tells me to "try again later". At least AllStates schedules a call back, guess enterprise can't afford it? 4 different people call you, asking for a returned call you CAN'T make. FRAUDS. Over the holidays I had cancelled the credit card on file due to an unrelated manner. When enterprises risk department called, they left a voicemail saying the car was reported stolen for failure to pay (3 day difference from first declined payment to voicemail). It took me 6 days to get anyone on the phone who said they would no longer rent to me and ties were being severed. After asking for a manager, I was hung up on. Then I go drop the vehicle off per their instructions and they expected payment for the 6 days between them reporting it stolen and me getting someone on the phone... I firmly made them realize that would never happen. Side note: stand your grand. Got my bill reduced to less than 25% of initial amount given.. still stung. I really wanted to take a human shit on the driver seat before I dropped it off but decided they weren't even worth that. Still demanding a conversation with their ops manager or CEO to find out why they are so disconnected with reality at this branch but after the complete disregard for customer expectations... this fight is far from over. If you MUST deal with enterprise; - record the convos - save every voice Mail - keep a log of your outgoing call attempts - always ask for a manger (even though they are light in the brain cell department) Enterprise: No response will be read unless you have C-class level authority. I've wasted too much time dealing with the incompetence below it. read more

Beware... Often they will move you into a larger vehicle and hide it by Saying the additional charge is a tax. The customer service department does not follow up with complaint calls. Otherwise nice cars. read more

Nobody is here, and its supposed to be open. I always have an issue at this place, its honestly ridiculous

A lack of communication and poor management led to an infuriating experience yesterday here. Only to receive a car that was filthy, scratched up, and not the one I had desired to rent. I will go somewhere else next time where I don't have to clean the car I paid for. read more

Shane I followed your instructions and got an email back saying it's the wrong email! Once again Enterprises Communications stink and wouldn't use that office again! read more

My family and i, at the last minute, decided to rent a large SUV or mini van the Friday before the 4th of July. for our week long trip to Lake George. I was what they would call a "walk in" Every other place I visited, told me I was crazy and that they were sold out, but the manager at This location (sorry I don't remember her name) was not only polite but worked very hard in making sure she could get me an SUV that fit all of my families needs and in the budget that we could afford. Her customer service was top notch even when she was trying to sell me the insurance. :) I was very impressed with this branch and would highly recommend it to any of my friends. read more

Had an absolutely pleasant and stress-free experience with all the people I dealt with at this location!!! Meghan and Brandon could not have been any more helpful and accommodating! They even offered an upgrade to a truck and called the next day to follow up on whether we were happy with the rental!!! When you have an accident and need to rent a car, the last thing you need is more stress. They took a stressful situation and made it as smooth as possible! read more

My family has used this branch of Enterprise for years. I saw a few bad reviews and felt compelled to write in. We have dealt with Omar, Christie, Brandon and a few others I am sorry I don't recall their names at the Rocky Point branch. This staff is always pleasant, courteous, professional and exceeds expectations. As a result of their excellent customer service we now use Enterprise when we visit Florida. Just sayin read more

Stay away from this office, the staff don't have a clue what is going on. i rented a car 6 weeks ago due an accident , I was told that the insurance company was paying for rental. 6 weeks later enterprise charged my card for $176.00. I call Allstate they told me they never got a call from enterprise, I called enterprise, they told me to pay the bill, and call Allstate to get renburst. So i called the main office in ST. Lewis to complain, and 5 hours later I Get a call from enterprise in Rocky Point telling me that they will call Allstate and get the payment from them. This whole office should have an employee turnover. If you need to rent a car, PLEASE go to a different Enterprise! read more

I have been renting cars for business and pleasure all over the world for over 30 years. Chrissy, the manager and her staff at Rocky Point Enterprise are EXCELLENT. They literally made it a pleasure to do business with them. They are always pleasant to deal with. Never mess up my reservations. The cars are in great shape and spotlessly clean. No matter whatever my schedule or circumstance they are always accommodating. Its nice to see somebody remembers the art of customer service. Give them a try you wont regret it! read more

About a decade ago my relatives, who lived nearby, recommended I rent from here when I came to town. They had rented from here and I rented from here at least once way back then (I usually got away with not renting). A few weeks ago I was looking to rent a car for a trip starting from the North Fork (about 40 min from here) and compared prices across Suffolk County (since I was going to be elsewhere in the County before the trip) and was pleased to find the Rocky Point Enterprise was the least expensive option by about $10/day; $30/day when you consider the closest competition in Riverhead and Cutchogue. In addition to scoring affordability points, the staff was really welcoming and helpful both on the phone (and I had connected with more than one person whenever I needed to call) and in person. While we were offered and took an upgrade (we didn't have to take it to rent from there as they had a smaller car but thought we'd be more comfortable in a red Dodge Dart) Andrew's comment is noted. I will continue to do my homework when looking for the best practical deal for my whatever my situation, but will be happy to go back here. read more
