Enterprise has a big name in the business, but some of their business practices stink. I reserved a car on 4/2 for pickup on 4/10. I think this should have been a recipe for a quick walk in and out. Especially since I was called by someone at the branch on 4/8 to confirm my reservation. I expressed several times the importance of me having a large vehicle when I got there at 8am on 4/10. I even called back on 4/9 to confirm again. I did this because Enterprise is notorious for not having your "reserved" vehicle. I get there and they are treating me as if all is well, check me in, etc. then the guy says, "I'm sorry to tell you this, but I'm gonna have to find a vehicle for you". I said, "find it on the lot, right". He said, "no, another location". I was livid! I had other people waiting on me, my long trip was stalled as I waited for an hour for someone to go and get a vehicle from another location. There were three other customers in the waiting area with the same problem. And, they told us all the same thing, "this is a business where we depend on people dropping cars off, but it doesn't always happen". This doesn't work for the customer, because all we know is that we "reserved" a certain type of vehicle at a certain time. We can't do your business do you. No matter how many free days or other forms of compensation you give, this practice will never be okay. This was the last straw for me. I always thank God for delay, but it hits a little differently when the delay is due to consistently inconsistent business practices. Enterprise, you must do better! I forgot to also mention that the car was not cleaned well when I got it and had crumbs everywhere, it smelled of marijuana by the second day (I guess they sprayed something in it that later wore off) and it had over 70k miles on it. read more

Negative 5 if I could give it. One star is too high. Don't ever book a car at this location. NEVER have a car available. Booked earlier in the day for the next day only to receive a call just prior to pickup they are out of cars. Done with Enterprise. read more

They place calls on hold never to actually answer them. Corporate even reached out to their regional manager on my behalf regarding the issue, and I still never received a call back. read more

This is very sad, I reserved a car for 9am Friday, they called and said they was waiting on cars to come in so I would have to get the car later and they would call me. I never heard from no one, I called back around 2pm, they told me to call back at 5pm because they was waiting on the cars to get there. I called back at 5 just to be put directly on hold. Have been constantly calling and they are constantly putting me on hold. Really starting to dislike ENTERPRISE this is very poor management and very unprofessional read more

If I could leave a zero, I would. I made an appointment to pick up a premium vehicle at 4pm on Friday at the Olive Branch location, while my car was in the body shop. I had Uber drop me off at 3:50pm and ended up waiting 2 hours only to receive a very dirty economy vehicle that was in disrepair. They gave me a hand full of Clorox wipes to clean some of the visible filth from the interior as I was very uncomfortable but I had a 6pm meeting to rush to. The sales person said I could bring the car back for another one at 9am the next morning, so I decided to go to my meeting. I retuned at 9:30 am the next morning and was informed to return at 11:30 am. I was made to stand in line again despite already waiting. They should have had a car waiting for me but they didn't. . After wasting another 2 hours on them, I was informed they didn't have another car to give me. I requested a refund and left the car. The car was so bad, a security guard approached at my meeting to tell me there was blue tape flapping on the windshield when I parked. It was raining and dark and I had no idea how awful the car was on the outside. Parts were missing on it and it had bug juice everywhere. To make matters worse, the car shook while idle. I was livid to be taken advantage of in such a vulnerable moment. On top of it, my husband was in route to pick me up but the sales person insisted they had a car. I would have been fine with going to another rental company or the airport the next day. I will never return there as long as I'm on this earth and seriously may not use Enterprise again. I had a claim from State Farm That is where they said I could go I first called and set on hold for over 30 mins Had my son to drive me up there and was told I had to call State Farm and move up to a large suv. I think is a scam. I did not want an large suv. All of this could be avoided if someone would answer the phone. They do not know how to utilize staff and are waiting everyone's time. read more

Markeus and the entire staff did an awesome job. The pick up and return experience went very smooth, the car was nice and very reliable. I was kind of new to renting but Markeus took the time and explained the entire process from start to finish. He had a great personality and was very knowledgeable and efficient. Enterprise Rental in Horn Lake was awesome. Staff was helpful and friendly, car was clean and ready to go. Completely different atmosphere than other locations I've used. Would use this one again. read more

Apparently a reservation does not mean that you actually have a reservation at enterprise. Get online. Check availability. Make a reservation. Give your card number. Hit submit. Presto! You're in. Seconds later you get an email confirming your reservation. I did say "confirmed!" So you go to the exact place where you made the reservation, kindly show your license and credit card, plus your AAA card. And another "presto!" I was semi nice but I really needed the car for a couple days. No cars available. Won't have any until after the time I need it to get to work. Thankfully, Hertz honored their reservations and I got a car. No more Enterprise in olive branch, MS. THERE WAS A SEINFELD EPISODE ON THIS where the exact same thing happened. Oh well. read more

Great customer service. We have used this location several times and have always been taken care of.

I rented a vehicle from this location and received a bill in the mail for a broken handle on the door. I walked around the vehicle with the man that worked there to check for any damages. He then open the door so I could get in after checking the mileage and I didn't notice anything wrong with the car at all. The next morning I came out and noticed that I could not open the door because the handle was broke. I immediately called them and let them know that when I came out to the car the handle was broke on the door. I went straight home with the car and it didn't go anywhere so I KNOW I DID NOT BRAKE THE HANDLE TO THE DOOR. They told me not to worry about it and just to bring the vehicle back and they would exchange it which is what I did. I then received a bill in the mail for a broken handle. Was told that I was going to be charge $8 a day and the rest was to be paid by at fault insurance company. When estimate repair date continued to be pushed back, I called to find out how much was due on my end because I did not want to go over $100 paying for a rental and I was going to return it and get a cheaper rental that the insurance would fully cover. I was told by the agents Ally, Keith, Zack each time I called on several calls, that I had a zero balance and that the insurance was paying the total amount of rental so I decided to keep car due to what they told me. Now, after rental has been returned, I get a bill double of what I was will to pay. I spoke with the manager/supervisor and was brushed off and told "well you signed the contract". He disregard what I explained and was told "oh they didn't tell you that." I am extremely dissatisfied with how this location handle my rental this time. I always chose them to get my rentals from, but after this I can not see myself working with them again. read more

Use this location frequently and I've never had an issue. As long as you show up with your Drivers License and proof of insurance they get you in and out efficiently. As with most Enterprise locations, Customer Service is great and they try to work with you if you have a special request. read more

My 75 year old father had a car reserved by insurance because of an accident this morning. As if the accident wasn't bad enough the agents at this location asked if he was the reservation that they had waiting then skipped him and waited on 3 customers that came in right behind him and after 20 minutes he finally walked out and called to have insurance schedule him for another location. Slow check in, but reasonably friendly service. However the base model Ford Fusion not only was the worst car I've ever driven, but it smelled STRONGLY of cigarette smoke, sweaty/mildewed body odor. Unfortunately when I picked up the car the windows had all been down (should have been my first clue) so I didn't realize it until I was well on my way back to memphis. read more

I have been using this location for over 2 years since I moved to Olive Branch, Ms. I have always enjoyed the Employees and the several Managers that have been shuffled through this location. I am a regular renter about every 2 weeks, last week I had a bad experience with an Employee Desiree Surratt, I brought my concerns to the Manager, as I almost never complain, but I run 15 Stores and customer service is the most important process of my business. I'm assuming Adam Manager spoke with her, as I went in to return my vehicle today 12/15/15, there were about 4 individuals inside. she was returning a Vehicle, when she was done, she asked is there anyone else doing a return, I held my hand up, and she just Commented "Adam can help you", I took that as refusing to service a customer, as the Manager was outside checking in a car. As soon as Adam came in, he took care of me, I followed him outside and expressed my concerns about my service. As a solid customer, I feel this needs to go a little higher, she has to understand that everyone makes mistakes, including myself, whatever the Manager discussed with her prior, she took it personal and it shows in her service towards Me the customer. Service was NOT GREAT! I had to wait a hour and a half for a car from Southaven, MS branch. Although they were already aware of arrangements per my insurance company. Secondly, the car that was given had a low tire pressure light that appeared later that day after the fact. I contacted them twice regarding it I was told by a female and male representative to come by and pick up something else. However, before I arrived I call and indicated that I was on the way and did not want to have another long wait. Upon arrival she said she will be right with me..... Okay 5, 10, 15mins had gone by. So I just left no one ever called me to see of they could help in any way. I have been riding around in a car that tire pressure light continues to come on a few days after I have put more air in the tire. I am less likely to have any bad reviews or complaints with companies but this time I have to give you my experience. I hope my car is indeed ready so I can drive this car back to Olive Branch, MS Enterprise Rent- A-Car. I personally would not recommend this branch to anyone ! read more
