When I first called in to set up my rental through my insurance it was like pulling teeth to get things set up correctly. My son ended up having to use his own card until things were cleared up after many calls later. Along with that, in the end he got screwed for 7-800 because someone didn't clearly explain everything. And when I called in to complain the manager hung up on me! Yes, hung up on me. Does that sound like good customer service to you?!?! This location is a city location and small compared to an Airport location. It's also a little run-down looking. The staff is great though. They're very professional and try their hardest to make sure each customer leaves happy. The location itself though is just... not what I would expect when I think of Enterprise. First off they seem to always be out of cars when you need one. Then they don't have the exact one that you want. The cars are never really clean. Either clean on the inside, dirty on the outside or vice versa. Elizabeth promptly attended to my needs and got me a nice Toyota in less than 30 minutes even though the place was starting to get very busy. Very professional walk around and she clearly stated all the options available to me. The visit was quick and could not have gone better. She was even the same attendant who checked me back in when I returned the car five days later. Again, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Make sure and take pictures of your rental before DO NOT TRUST them to be honest. They WILL take advantage of you and your insurance. Now I'm stuck paying even more for hail damage the vehicle supposedly got while I was driving it. I WAS NEVER IN A HAIL STORM. When I disputed it all that was said was that I was at fault they couldn't prove a date of the supposed damages. They will do whatever it takes to get any amount of money from you. The pictures they provided don't even show any actual damage. This seems to be common thing that happens with other customers. This was already stressful on top of having to get my car fixed. Had an accident Monday ,called insurance & was told to go online to Enterprise to set up rental. Went home & did it online & was told to pick up truck at 12:30 next day at Odessa office. My daughter had me there before 12:30 but when I walked in, they told me they had no vehicles but would try to find me one. After waiting a while girl told me they had a Ford car that they could give me. I told her I had signed up for a pu truck & she said thats all they had. I said ok then that I would take it. She said they had to clean it up. So I waited. Finally, same girl ( who was nice) came back & said she found me a truck but she had to go pick it up. I asked how long & she said about an hr. So I sat down to wait again. Girl comes back after about an hr & said she didn't know it when she told me but that the truck had to have an oil change before she could give it to me & then they would have to clean it up. I got upset because I had to wait so long & they kept telling me different things & I said a couple of bad words. I didnt call anyone a bad name or anything but I did tell them I was not happy with the service & having to wait so long when I had already arranged everything the day before. The nice girl apologized & went to take care of the truck. Another woman whom I had not spoken too took exception to my frustration & told me to sit down & shut up. I told her that I had not been talking to her & she told me again to sit down & shut up so I told her to shut up & do her job. I did not curse her or call her an ugly name although I sorely wanted to. She walked away & I sat down again to wait. A blonde woman came to the desk in front of me & asked if I had cursed her employee. I told her I did not but that I had said a couple of curse words. She told me I could not curse her employees & I said I didnt, I just said a curse word in frustration. The other woman had walked back over by then & looked at me & smirked at me & told the woman that I did. The manager(I guess) told me that I would not be allowed to get ANY vehicle & to get out of her pace of business. I called my daughter to come back & get me. I called the insurance company & told them what happened & the agent called & tried to get them to give me the vehicle. They refused. Agent called Midland & asked if they had a vehicle & they said "No." When I got home I called Midland also & they said they would have one on Thursday so I gave them my info. The man called me back & said the Odessa manager had put me on a "DO NOT RENT" list so he could not give me the vehicle. At that point I DID say bad words to him & told him that Enterprise Car rental can go to Hell. I then called my insurance agent & told her what had happened with Midland also . She was not happy with Enterprise either & it is my fervent hope that they end the contract with Enterprise & get another company to rent from. My daughter helped me & we went to Avis, where we had no problems at all & the staff was very helpful. read more

These people are criminals plain and simple. If I could give negative stars on here I would do it. They charge you every time that they get in contact with you. Also if they can find a way to make you pay extra for fake "hail damage" on a rental they will do so without a second thought. Also if you explicitly tell them that no you won't pay another $225 without a good reason, watch out. They will attempt to make unauthorized charges with your debit/credit card. Well.... I have never had a problem with enterprise... tell now but I guess it was part me that was at fault too we got a car reeked of dog.... had dog hair all over the car long hair.... I let it alone cause my father really needed the car... return it they blamed us got really short and rude thank goodness they didn't make us pay for it... but one I should have never got a car that look like that.... 2 I have learn even if you think your being picky or rude POINT OUT THE PROBLEM!!!! This has been the worse experience ever! I had a blow out on the highway, roadside assistance was anything but. The first women entered the completely wrong information. The second woman said they had a vehicle saved at the Odessa location. The third woman took the correct location of the vehicle. The fourth woman said there was no notation of having a car at the Odessa location, but was putting it in. The boy at the counter said there was nothing in his computer and they didn't have a car. But meanwhile, some trashy dressed girl comes up to the counter and she is getting everything she wants. I have a passenger who needs to get back to Abilene for cancer treatment, but no one here could care less. read more

Has horrible service was stranded for 5 hours at a gas station after a wreck couldn't get a car because we had no way of getting there. They then told us they had us a car but we had to pick it up in Mobile Alabama mind you i was in San Antonio. We finally got a car the next day after my grandfather drove four hours after working to come get us. Returned the car with no problems at all. We then tried to get another car to get back home but they said we couldn't because we don't have a credit card and we are not Texas residents. I live in Mississippi and needed to get home after being in fort Stockton for almost a month. When we got the first car they had no problem doing it with a debit card and them knowing we are from MS. There's nothing like walking in to a crew and management that hate their jobs. I have rented from here before and had a pleasant experience however, within this past month I've been here 3 times and the service has been awful. You can tell the lady manager is annoyed and stressed out about everything and would rather have her staff handle situations for her as she seems incapable of even applying herself to anything. If you can get through the awful service and atmosphere of feeling unwanted here, you should be okay with your rental and the fact that it is 3,000 miles past due it's oil change. read more

I would give them a 0 if I could. I was informed that we had the rental ready for a specific day and what car then I get here and we have to hurry due to a family emergency and now they have me waiting till they can find a car and get it ready. On top of that there tellin me I need to pay an extra $10 a day because the reason I have a rental is a bad driver hit my truck and there insurance is paying it. There insurance finally fixed there kinks but I have to deal with there inability to get there work corrected.. I will never recommend this place to anyone.... Corporation could improve some details, when I checked in, there was no one who speaks spanish, when I returned the car there was a friendly bilingual clerk (Enterprise should hire more bilingual staff, urgently). Another negative is you have to show your insurance every time you rent, the pick up process would be faster if there were a possibility to fill these data online in your member account. Also, Enterprise could improve there online booking system, you reserve a car and there is no one at the branch office. read more

Most disorganized work flow ever in this place. Yes there was a major hail storm that hit however 7 days to get any cars here at all is completely uncalled for. NO Communication from the local branch. Called the call center to see if there was a status update and no update because I was told there are several lists going around not just one. No one is picking up the phone at the local location so had to call Midland. The District manager is completely rude and thinks its ok that we should have to stand in line for 2 plus hours to get a simple status update. I finally get the status update and guess what I am supposed to get a car tomorrow but I'm sure I wouldn't have ever gotten that information unless I called around to another location to just find out what my status was. This place is complete joke. If I could give it negative stars I would. The corporate office really needs to look and see how this West Texas region is being ran. read more

I have always rented from Enterprise; always good service and excellent people. This time it was somewhat a nightmare. They were trying to get me into a car that I didn't reserve. Car I got had mechanical issues. Called for an exchange they told me to get a hold of road side assistance. Took my trip and had to call roadside assistance again. The people from roadside assistance were much nicer than the people I had spoke to. I finally got an exchange, I felt like the car problems were my fault. Maybe everyone was just in a bad mood this time. Hope next time will be better? read more
