We have had no problems with any of our rentals. Whether at the Seguin location or the San Antonio airport.

I often choose Enterprise for myself and my family's rental needs. The Laramie location was an excellent experience. Scott and Carlos assisted me in my truck rental. Scott and Carlos offered personable, professional, and exceptional customer service. Both of them had a great sense of humor and made the rental experience an excellent one. The Ford F150 I rented was in excellent condition, clean, and a Lariat edition. Scott pulled it right to the front of the office for me, which I appreciated in the chilly Wyoming wind. The customer experience was top notch and I'll certainly choose Enterprise for future rentals. read more

This place is almost unbelievably incompetent and clueless. The airport desk closes at 5:00 PM, so if you arrive at LAR any later than that, you're stuck without wheels until the downtown office opens at 7:30 AM the next BUSINESS day. So, if you land at 6:00 PM on a Friday, you won't see anyone from Enterprise until 7:30 Monday morning. And if Monday is a holiday.... well, you can probably guess when you might get a car.. The downtown office smells like an NBA locker room. One guy on the phone to two consecutive customers ("Sorry, sorry, sorry we have no cars") for 30 minutes. I had reserved a midsize car and got a monster Dodge 3500 Quad Cab locomotive with the turning radius of a battleship. Well, OK, I can deal with this - I don't really need a truck, but it's what they had. Hop into the truck and surprise! The windshield is coated with haze on the inside and dead bug residue on the outside. The windshield washer fluid reservoir is empty (complete with Captain Obvious warning light on the dash). The fuel gauge is at 1/4 tank. "You don't have to fill it up when you bring it back," Phone Guy said, "Just bring it back with 1/4 tank." Sure, so the next renter will get screwed too. Why not? I've been renting cars about twice a month for over 20 years, and this was my first encounter with Enterprise. As they say, you never get a second chance to make a first impression, and I am now never, ever, going to recommend Enterprise. It's blacklisted. Hey, National, Thrifty, Payless, Avis, Hertz.... anyone: you'll make a killing in this town if you open up a franchise. I might be willing to front half the franchise fee if you're interested. read more

Be warned! I reserved a car on a Thurs for the next Tuesday (Monday was a holiday). I received a call on Tuesday morning (about an hour before I was supposed to pick it up stating they did not have the vehicle I reserved or any similarly sized vehicles. They thought they might be able to come up with a vehicle larger than a small vehicle later in the day. I had fortunately rented the vehicle to pick up the day before we needed to leave for the airport. In the end they came up with a slightly larger vehicle but it still was not big enough to get us along with all our stuff to the airport. Important to note I received this message 5 hours after I was supposed to pick up the vehicle. Thankfully I have family in the area that took a day off work to drive us to the airport but a lot of people would have been totally up a creek without a paddle. The vehicle I rented from the website was sitting in the parking lot but was told it needed some kind of repair (It had sat there for over a week, not being repaired). They did attempt to get a vehicle for me from the airport but was literally too little and too late. So my advice, because this is literally the only car rental in town, is to call them and not use the online reservation system, and make sure they have what you need well before you are counting on them. I am really disappointed because this is a very important service that a lot of people need in this area and it's totally unreliable. My brother worked at a local hotel and told me this exact situation is not unusual at all and people has been left stranded in Laramie because they can't get the car they reserved. read more

I had to rent a car as my car was being repaired from hail damage. Had to travel about 150 miles north of here on winding, snowy roads and I-25 where the speed limit is 80 MPH. On the way back, the car was noisy and the ride became "bumpy". Upon returning to Laramie, it felt like the back right wheel was going to come off. So, I took it to Laramie GM and sure enough - it WOULD have come off. Had ONE lug nut! I informed the staff of the situation and instead of having management call, the regular, 8-5, M-F worker called with a heart felt apology. With all due respect, while I respect the effort, I will NEVER, EVER, if I can help it rent from this company - no matter WHAT city I'm in. How that car passed an inspection on ANY of the Enterprise lots is BEYOND ME. read more

I had made a reservation Monday June 1st. I got a call from the Cheyenne location saying I had to change it to Friday at 9am. I'm here at 9am Friday just to be told my reservation was supposedly canceled and now I have been waiting for over two hours now just to get into a vehicle. I tried to call customer service and to make a complaint and they hung up on me in the middle of me telling them my problem. I'm very upset and a very unhappy customer. read more

I was once in a lurch and needed a rental car fast. Sure, I was in and out in a snap, but I didn't get a good deal at all. This rental place is the only game in town for rentals and they capitalize on that like nobody's business. They will squeeze you for every cent they can. You would be a lot better off just borrowing a friend's car than using this place. If you rent from them, you might as well make a down payment on a new car. read more

On two separate occasions had a reservation and both times the person working named Bryson was very unprofessional said they were booked and there wasn't anything he could do thankfully the enterprise in Cheyenne was very helpful over the phone they found another location where I can find a rental. read more

Bryson Jacobs and Gene are amazing! About a month in advance I reserved a SUV for a long weekend to entertain out of town guests. The week before I was scheduled to pick up the vehicle I stopped into the office to confirm my reservation. I was greeted by name and assured the car would be available. They did not disappoint! These gentlemen saved a very nice top of the line SUV for me and were very vested in me having a great experience. After leaving the office with the amazing SUV I discovered I had no clue as to how to work the air for the rear compartment. I went back to the office and Gene got into the car and gave me a tutorial! Checking out the car was a breeze and returning it was even easier. A+++ customer service! Thank you Bryson and Gene. 2019 12-4 I'm stranded at the car repair shop because nobody at the Laramie Enterprise car rental location is answering the phone. I have been trying for 2 hours now and 7 calls being put on hold for 10 minutes each. After calling the regional office and complaining I finally got a call from someone at Laramie Enterprise 4 hours, yes, 4 hours later. They blamed it on their phone system being bad for the LAST 1 1/2 TO 2 WEEKS! REALLY?! However, the confirmation email from Enterprise specified an 8:30 pickup at the address of the repair shop, yet NOBODY called the repair shop or me for that matter to see if I needed a ride or I was still there! THAT'S ABOUT AS INCONSIDERATE AS YOU CAN GET!!! The repair shop I was at said their experience with Laramie Enterprise was really bad, giving examples of when people break down and need a car, Enterprise can't deliver. I'll never use them again. I had to cut my extensive repairs short so the repair shop could finish while I was there. read more

I originally rented from Alamo in Denver. I drove to Laramie and within a couple of days, the car began to have issues, mechanical, etc. I contacted the Laramie Enterprise to see if they could swap out the car for me so that I didn't have to drive back down to Denver. I had the great privilege of working with Barry Wallace. He was kind, caring, quick and a complete professional. He took very good care of me and I truly appreciate him and Enterprise. Thanks Barry! Hope you don't need to get a car for any interviewees that you have flying in after hours or on weekends because you're out of luck! They have no after-hours procedures for renters who are coming in on any flights that are outside of their business hours. They demand that the renters have to physically be there to present their drivers licenses and sign the contract, they can't do that electronically beforehand. Since this is the only game in town (Hertz never has cars), this literally left us with no options, our candidate had to take Uber when he could find a driver as our staff was out of town when he arrived.
