Had a great experience at this location!! Jaiden and Griffin were extremely helpful and friendly!! A++

I don't think Conner works at this location, but i did stop here and he was the only one in and helped me figure out my situation and was very very helpful. He didn't have a car for me, but honestly at the end of the day, his kindness was more than enough. read more

Not good car wasn't clean gas near empty , I get I can return at sane level but that's not the point it should be full. Also there seems to also be a hidden charge somewhere. read more

We had a rent a car through our Progressive Insurance. A $40 limit a day. We were given a SUV, after we returned the car. I've found a charge on my credit card $140.40 (they claim that the difference was for the bigger SUV). We never asked for a bigger SUV. And when Progressive contact them, they lied that they told us to return the car for a smaller SUV that they never convey to us. What bunch of liars !!!!!. Stay out of this branch............. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. Reserved a full size SUV, was delayed in turnpike accident traffic called enterprise Manheim Pike Lancaster location to let them know would be approximately 30 minutes late. They said well that gives us time to find you a vehicle. I asked what exactly did that mean. Apparently when the SUV was returned it was "wrecked" and they had nothing other than a mini van! Please, not acceptable. Christian from that location called back 10 minutes later. He said they could not do anything for me and could not even contact another enterprise location to see if there were any other SUV vehicles. Told me I needed to call around on my own to "deal with it myself"! Well if that's how you help your customers thank goodness I didn't rent a vehicle from this location and have any type of issue. I will not use this location again and I will definitely look at other options when renting a vehicle in the future. read more

I had and am still having one of the worst experiences ever. The whole saga has gone on for close to 2 months. The rental car's windshield was damaged by someone who must have thrown a golf ball or rock at it. It was on the passenger side and they said I could continue driving and that they would get an estimate from a windshield company nearby. So once they had the car back it was at least 10 days til I heard from them and it was to say the windshield needed to be replaced and that my credit card on file was being charged for the days I had it AND was being charged for $150 deductible for the windsheild. NEVER provided a copy of the estimate even tho I have now asked for it 5 times. Won't even tell me who did the estimate. So I am still working on that unfortunately. But since when did anyone charge you for part of your deductible upfront?? And why would Enterprise have any right to charge my credit card without my authorization. Very, very shady. I felt the need to cancel that credit card and get a new one so that the one they have can't be used again with them. And here's a thought to ponder - How can Enterprise say that they "pride themselves on customer service"?? What a joke. Just look at your reviews Enterprise. I sure wish that I had read the reviews before I chose Enterprise and you will spare yourself a lot of stress and aggravation if you do not use this place. Wish I had used Hertz. read more

I had a billing problem a year ago & it took over a month to get someone from this location to correct the problem . This year I rented at This location & they gave me a smelly car with bad air conditioning. I attempted to trade car. I repeatedly phoned. They did not answer their phone because it was 15 mins to closing time. I had no choice but to drive this car to NYC. I was overcharged for this rental despite the fact I was told their was a 1 hour grace period I was charged extra for this stinky bad AC car. The customer service number claims they can not help me. I was told the Enterprise Manheim pike branch was the only one that can help me. This is the reason it took over 1 month & repeated phone calls emails. This Enterprise location does not offer water or any other helpful information etc.. They do not allow you to use the restroom. I was told restroom is private. read more

Already posted a review on Yelp. I do have ongoing problems with them as no one ever returns my phone calls or responds to my emails asking for a copy of the estimate or even the name of the business who did the estimate. Which obviously would make anyone think did they ever do an estimate?? I am putting my claim through my insurance company and they should be able to get some answers. But at this point all I want is the $150.00 that they arbitrarily decided to use my credit card for to be refunded to me. Why on earth would I have to pay part of my deductible without them even knowing if I had a deductible. And you pay the deductible AFTER the work is done and you have seen a copy of the estimate. The local Enterprise office has no right to charge me that. Case closed. You can get my contact information from Enterprise. And in the meantime I would think long and hard about how that office is being run. read more

This location accommodated their regulars/emerald club members pre COVID. I can only assume that the pandemic coupled with the loss of a customer focused manager are the differences. Even just Last week, they simply upgraded a regular customer, without mention, when they didn't have a standard car on the lot. Albeit the SUV wasn't up to par cleanliness wise (straws, parking tags left behind from previous customer) or odor wise---smoking odors are abhorrent and a real reason to not rent cars...but at least it wasn't made out to be an issue to the customer...this week, I cannot say the same and did not rent a car for typical business. The only Alternatives offered came with wasted time and increased expenses despite corporate contracts and national emerald club status. read more

Dirty vehicles, the inside windshield was/is has a film of fog that when driving in the sun is blinding. The staff , as always try to sell you their insurance for $25.00 A DAY "that covers all". Good reliable service, so issues with the car, flexible pickup time, staff was helpful.

My insurance company was covering my car rental at $30/day, the manager knew that since they worked closely with my insurance company. They had no economy selection available (so the manager stated) so they gave me a minivan and said they would talk to my insurance office and work out the normal deal which was an economy rate, never happened. He then said for $17.00 I could get extra insurance to cover any damage to the rental. It sounded reasonable however he filed to tell me it was $17.00 PER DAY! Anyway I should have been a smarter consumer. Since they had my credit card they just wanted to bill me and not wait to work it out with my insurance company. Well...I needed the car for almost 2 monthsthanks to my insurance company and I ended up getting stuck with a $2,300 bill!! Never goin here again and probably changing insurance co.'s! Funny...I am on the phone now for the second span of 15 minutes holding and listening to a tune to the sound of "send me on my way by rusted root" about how well they treat their customers...YEAH RIGHT!! read more

I have rented from this location over 60 times in the past few years. I have always had good service. They try their hardest to fix issues that come up at times with any car rental company. Sometimes they get overwhelmed with customers coming in all at once and that can delay their service, but they recognize the delay, apologize to the customer and then try to go as fast as possible. read more

I have used this location several times. The people who helped me- on the phone, at the desk, picking me up, dropping me off - have been simply pleasant and helpful. My cars have been clean and ready to go on time. They have listened to my requests and tried to help me whenever possible (ie: I don't like the FOCUS, and they make sure I don't get one). I can't think of how they could be better - other than having a public bathroom that is lady tidy ;) Thank you - you guys help my travel so very much. read more

I reserved a car and when I showed up they then told me I needed a credit card. I offered to pay cash for the incidental deposit and also another debit card but said there's no way around it. It was for a Tahoe. I said I needed something that seats six people and they told me they wanna bank statement a utility bill and a paycheck. I told them I'm self employed and don't get pay checks, I use online paperless banking and have auto withdrawal for utilities and they said they can't do much. The blonde who helped me was extremely rude and had the personality of a pet rock. I called Hertz and they were super nice, accommodating and I didn't need to go print out a bank statement. Thanks Hertz read more

Spoke to Nicole at this Manheim Pike location. Was accused of being a previous customer, renting a car and keeping personal car together instead of dropping off car to body shop; the reason for my reservation via an insurance claim for a rental in the first place. Basically being treated like a thief prior to even stepping foot in their office! Customer Service unacceptable, offensive, and should not be trusted with the public on behalf of Enterprise or any company for that matter!!!! read more

The quotation is too high... Very expensive... Sorry but was very disappointed. Saved more than $200.

My first time renting from Enterprise Manheim Pike and the car they gave us was nearly brand new. Unfortunately, five hours into the trip we took a stone hit on the windshield, which turned into a 10" crack over the next two days. This being my first time reporting damage to a rental company, I wasn't sure what my experience would be, with having read a number of car rental horror stories online. I'm happy to report that the staff made no attempt whatsoever to exploit the situation and paying the very reasonable cost of replacing the glass was very straightforward. Michael and Joseph were top notch and we couldn't have asked for better customer service. read more

I always use this location when I am visiting family in Lancaster. The staff is amazingly helpful, professional and courteous. Also, the driver's the pick you up are great as well. There are other choices for car rental, but This Enterprise location is just great! Whenever I am in town I am usually driving a bus and one of the things I LOVE about Enterprise is the "We'll pick you up" policy. read more

I will never again rent from this Enterprise location. Be careful what you are signing if you choose to use this location. They have nice cars but not to organized.I rented a blk Ford Fusion from Morgantown Reading was very scratched up all over the car.I had it for two weeks. When I took it back to the location in Lancaster on Manheim Pike I was treated like a suspect like I scratched the car.So that means that enterprise didn't keep tabs on what condition their cars r in.So b very careful when u rent a car take pics, record whatever u have to have proof of what damage is on the car before u rent it or u cld b responsible for any damage prior to u driving it.I don't think I will ever rent a car from them again.I don't like how they made me feel as a customer. Not professional at all. read more

Friendly staff, unfortunately they have to work with a dictator assistant manager. An agent asked me what color of the car I would prefer. Before I could respond, a yell from the back office: "Green". When I returned the car, I was there before 8AM which is the time they open their office. The door was unlocked and few agents were already at their computer. I stepped in. One said "will be with you soon". Ten minutes later, no one came up to help. One finally came at 8AM. Is this customer service? I will never come back to this place! They have to remember that customers have choices! read more

As a local broker whom represents major auto carriers I have dealt with Enterprise rent a car over 18 years. My most recent experiences the last 2 years have been mediocre at best. However, I had a personal need for a car rental due to an accident last week. When I arrived to pick up location on Manheim Pike for rental they advise me that I am on a do not rent list. I did not understand what that meant so I asked for clarification. I was told that 4 years ago they placed it due to some auto damages I never paid for. (Absolutely no knowledge of this) Well, 1st of all IF I had an accident as an agent and more so a responsible consumer I would never ignore nor deny such thing. I asked them to please provide some sort of documentation or full explanation as to the damages to the vehicle dates etc. They were unable to provide anything and instead gave me a number to call their claims department. I called that department and they too were unable to provide information. They said the claim is too old and not in their system anymore so they'd have to call me back with info once they were able to locate it. So now, I am standing there embarrassed and humiliated with no answers and no car. Mind you I was driven there by one of their reps so I had no other form of transportation. Needless to say, I had to call an Uber and go to Hertz for a rental whom by the way had me in and out of their location in minutes with a car. So now, lets take it even deeper, the accident I had was with one of my client's. Now, she too was also in need of a vehicle while her vehicle is being repaired. That rental was booked through.......... you guessed it .........ENTERPRISE on Manheim Pk. My client called me on Sunday afternoon from that location to inform me that they were attempting to put her in a small sedan and charge her out of pocket expenses. I asked to speak to the rep and I explain the situation after some back and forth she puts her in an suv (which is what my client drives) pending verification from nationwide on Monday. Monday is here and I call to get the approval for the SUV from Nationwide and now Enterprise is still trying to charge my client fees additional to what nationwide has already approved for an SUV. I spoke to Enterprise directly and Nationwide spoke to Enterprise directly and they refused to honor the SUV payment limit nationwide set. I call Hertz and explain everything and they without hesitation said come on in we will get your client in the SUV and honor the payment nationwide has set. Needless to say, I will NEVER EVER refer any client to Enterprise. So, Enterprise you've not only lost my personal business but I will make it a point to advise everyone of my thousands upon thousands of clients, my friends, my family and otherwise to never conduct business with your company. IT is a shame that customer service means nothing nowadays. read more
