I reserved a large SUV from the Flemington Enterprise car rental branch months prior for moving my daughter into college. The day of pick up , Brittany, the branch manager and Sean were professional, empathetic and supportive and worked hard to get me the perfect SUV. Where do I even start... I had a reservation to rent a vehicle with the understanding that I could drive it to Canada. My reservation was for 10 am. At 8 am, I received a call informing me that there were no cars available and they might have some later in the day. They promised to call me back. By noon, I was informed that there was one person ahead of me in line for rentals and that I should consider other options because they were unsure if a car would be available. Frustrated, I went to the store to find out what was happening. Despite making my reservation months ago, I was told they had no cars available and was given a vague story about it. I waited there, watching several cars get returned. After three hours of waiting, I went back inside to ask about the vehicles I had seen returned. The representative claimed they were going to body shops and were already allocated. How can cars be saved for other purposes but not for customers with reservations? To make matters worse, they then told me that the car I rented could not be taken to Canada. They insisted this policy had been in place for at least a year, which is absolutely untrue. Just last year, I rented a small SUV from them, drove it to Canada, and they even provided French insurance. When I expressed my frustration, including using one mild swear word, the representative became upset and refused to rent me any car. By this point, it was 4 pm, and I should have had a car at 10 am. This experience made it clear that this location does not value customer service or honor reservations. Fortunately, I was able to quickly get another rental with a different company. Consider this a warning if you choose to rent from this location. They might not have a car for you, and if you get upset, they'll refuse to rent you one. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. read more

Today was the first time that I've ever had an amazing experience renting a car and it's all because of the stellar employees working here. Jackie (and I forget the other guys name but I think it's Darrius?) They were both super informative, friendly and efficient. Protocols, vehicle info, and chit chat were all exchanged and nothing felt cheesy or forced. Awful. They are a completely unprofessional group of people who are disorganized and rude. I will never use this company again and will never recommend them to friends and family. Worst experience in costumer service I've ever had. They should be ashamed of themselves. The only person who deserves any credit is a young man named Devin. He truly cares about how people are treated which is more than I can say for anyone else who works in that office. Stephanie the manager is the least helpful person employed at the Flemington Branch. She sent employees to randomly show up at my home, threatened to call the police and report the car stolen all while we were paying for the vehicle. We were harassed and treated with rudeness while we paid for a rental on time every month. We spent a lot of money here due to needing a car after an accident and it was the most stressful, uncomfortable situation of my life. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more

First off, I paid for an intermediate car for business. Came to the office and they only had a Beetle. Unless you are a clown, a Beetle is not a business car. Then had to wait 30 minutes for somebody to take the keys and check the car. Lesson learned...keep using National Rental Car instead. read more

I have used this office twice now and have been beyond happy with the service. Renting a car while juggling two kids (under 5) is quite the hassle. I was impressed by the car being delivered to the auto body shop where my car was being fixed. Very nice and convenient. Then I drove my car home and noticed a faint smoky smell. The next morning when I got in the car it was a stronger smell. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and my allergies were really effected. I called to see about getting an exchange and the person said to just take it to a local enterprise and it would be no problem. Three enterprise locations later I am still stuck with the ashtray on wheels. It is the same Schtick at each location. "I'm sorry. I don't have anything. I'm trying to get cars for my existing appointments. Leave your number and I will call when I get something in". This translates to "leave your number and go away so that I never have to deal with you." I am so annoyed and will never use Enterprise again. What a horrible customer service experience. read more

I just rented a car this week and Enterprise charged me an additional $250 deposit (on top of my original rental charge). I charged the rental by a credit card, not a debit card, so did not understand why I had to pay the $250 deposit. They explained that the $250 deposit was their policy and that the deposit will be credited once I returned the car. I didn't have much time, so rented the car. When I returned the car they did credited my card the $250. Not a happy customer because I was unexpectedly out $250 for my trip due to the hold on my credit card account. read more

Reservation does not mean reservation at Flemngton Enterprise! I reserved a specific vehicle for pick up at 5, got out of work a few minutes late I called at 5:05 to let them know I was running late to pick up and Devon assured me there was no problem, the car was there for me. As we pulled in to pick up the car I reserved it was pulling with someone else driving it. There were no cars left to be rented. When i asked why they gave the car to someone else and told me I'd have no problem I was told their manager tells them to give the person who is in front of them what they want and deal with the customer who reserved it later. No ETHICS at all! read more
