    They supposed to pick me up or dropoff the rental car at the body shop but i think they forgot to do his job‍‍‍‍‍45 min late i call them twice asking what happens ‍‍

    I was in a car accident and the individual responsible for hitting my vehicle was financially responsible for my rental. I guess I shouldn't complain as the only out of pocket expense I had was my gas and time. I presented for the rental and was expected something "comparable" to my car. Ok, I wasn't expecting a full on luxury car, but at least something reasonable. As I looked around the lot, I saw a couple new Toyota Corollas. Hmmm, I wouldn't mind driving one of those around! Instead I was led to a Chevy Cobalt. REALLY?! I was in a hurry, so I dealt with it... I drove off and the stench of burnt popcorn filled the car. I couldn't stand it. Then I started to hear a rattling noise coming from the front end of the car. The following day I contacted Enterprise indicating that I was not comfortable driving around this car. They were accommodating and said that I could bring it back in for a swap. I swapped the car and was issued an upgrade - Dodge Caliber. Ok, I have to admit, it was better than the Chevy. I felt safer driving this vehicle, although I was not happy that I had to make an extra trip. I had the vehicle for about a week and when I returned it, I was put off with the service. They immediately ask you, "Were you satisfied with the service you received?" You're really going to ask me that in front of my face, I thought to myself. "Uhhh, ya, I guess." The dude drives me to the auto body shop so that I could pick up my car. On the ride over he gets a phone call and answers it while driving - no handsfree, mind you and says "I'm with a customer right now." The gate to the auto body shop was closed although I knew the owner was inside. As I was getting out of the car, the dude was anxiously awaiting to get back on his phone, dumps me at the driveway and takes off without even waiting to see if I get into the gate ok. What a gentleman! Question: I wonder if the guys who work here ever smile? At least the ladies do...

Clearly someone needs to be in charge of greeting customers as they pull into the drive and wait to be assisted. Unfortunately, not one person made eye contact or even acknowledged that I was there. It's awkward just standing there feeling ignored while waiting for help. The valet guys were mostly standing around looking at their phones. A simple "Hello, someone will be right with you" would have gone a long way. Once I was finally assisted, the staff was great and very professional, so this really comes down to first impressions. Customer service starts the moment a customer arrives. Hiring a greeter -- or simply encouraging staff to acknowledge customers and SMILE -- would make a huge difference.

    TLDR: Went in for a simple oil change (with an appointment) in the morning, left 5 hours later and…read moresat in rush hour traffic. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. Went in with an a 10AM appointment for just an oil change. I specifically told them I just needed the oil as I mainly do things at another shop but needed to get in sooner. I show up at 930, didn't get approached by any service advisors till 1015. Told them I just needed an oil change and everything else I would do elsewhere. They seem to understand and gave me an estimate of about 2 to 2 1/2 hour wait (which is already crazy for an oil change). 12PM goes by, 1PM flies by and at this point I'm trying to call and text my advisor to get a status update. Nothing. Then he calls me and asks me to fill out the online form for the maintenance. I fill it out and see they want to change my air filters for both cabin and engine. I said "meh might as well while I'm here", I approve the actions via the online form, then I get another call. He informs me that the prices he gave me did not reflect any of the service hours that were required to install those parts. Fun fact if we change your air filter out yourself, it takes maybe 2 1/2 minutes and the cabin filters just the same. So I said " you know what never mind I'll just do it myself" which seemed to stun the advisor as if he had never heard that before in his life. Another hour goes by and then another hour goes by at this point I'm extremely irritated because I have my toddler with me and at this point, I've exhausted all my resources for him as I didn't realize I was gonna be at the dealership for five hours for a simple oil change. I try to find my service advisor and he's nowhere to be found. I find another service advisor and ask if he can look the status up for my vehicle. He acted as if I was trying to have him part the seas. I finally see my truck come around the corner and they park it. I ask who do I pay to get out of here? They direct me inside to the parts desk. So I go to the parts desk and ask, can I pay for my vehicle? The parked desk, then pointed me back outside. Then I find my service advisor and ask him if I could pay so I can get out as I have been there almost 5 hours. He says he's waiting for someone else to finish the paperwork and finalize it so that I could be charged. At this point, I'm livid. I see my truck I wanna get out. I had been there all day. I made a morning appointment because I had things to do that day. It was just an oil change. I've never had an oil change take five hours. I don't know what games this dealership plays, but I'm not about it and I will never go back. No one seems to know what's going on. No one can give you a full answer and if you ask questions, they just play the runaround game with you and send you anywhere else but the correct person you need to see. My wife had an appointment the same day at 2:30 so I called her and had her cancel as I didn't want her to be here till 12AM getting her oil changed as well. This is by far the worst dealership experience I've ever had. I could tell I wasn't the only one there that was upset by this as I was walking around the waiting area and everyone else seem to be irritated and on the phone talking with people about how long they had been waiting there for simple routine maintenance. We were actually in the market to buy a new Toyota as well, but after this experience throughout the entire dealership, I will never come back, and I will recommend that nobody goes to this dealership for any type of service. I wish there was another word stronger than atrocious to describe this dealership.

I had to make the arrangements to have it towed because they wont, take an Uber to get to work on time, and then was told they wouldn't rent me another vehicle until they had this one back in inventory. She reserved it online. My response was oh no! Why didn't you get U-Haul. I was being somewhat sarcastic but I have always rented from U-Haul no issues. Wow was I right!!! Budget/Avis was the worst experience I've ever had with any company. The guy at the budget counter had a long beard. If you get him get ready for anything wrong being deflected and blamed on you as the customer. He told my girlfriend sorry we don't have the truck you reserved. That sucked but then he said we have a truck with a lift gate (when moving that sucks!) luckily I know how to use a lift gate. He then said the problem is you have to bring the truck back to us in Escondido. Our reservation was one way to drop in as a Diego. He said he would cover the miles but didn't offer to cover the extra gas. We asked and he said no. But it was double the trip. I left to get my ID. He proceeded to tell my girlfriend that she was being such and inconvenience and that he can just cancel her reservation. This would leave us with no truck to live on living day. In all my years I've never heard of that before. Customer service agent telling someone they are an inconvenience due to the company not having the correct order or equipment. CRAZY!! You can't make this shit up. We took the truck. My girlfriend spent 2 hours wheel we were driving and moving getting bounced from every department on the phone. Everyone telling her it was someone else's fault. Here's the kicker!! We did what they asked and returned the truck to Escondido. Their loss prevention department called her today and said they are charging her a no. Return fee because she returned the truck to Escondido. WTF!?? Never rent a moving truck from this place. Terrible business model and customer service. The customer service phone agents are all outsourced in different countries. It's a mess!! I'd mark 0 stars but Yelp won't let me!! Stay away from this Esco location and budget as a whole.
