Called and confirmed my reservation with Allison on 2/18 and she assured me that I wouldn't have any issues since I booked in advance and there would be plenty of vehicles for Sunday, 2/22 (today). Unfortunately she advised that she wouldn't be working the day of my arrival. Arrived today, NO ONE at the counter. There was a posted sign "SERVICING A VEHICLE WILL RETURN SHORTLY". Waited over an hour, knocked on the doors, no one...just unbelievable. Didn't want to miss our flight so we ended up searching a ride on Lyft and fortunately a nice man accepted the ride request from Utah to Vegas. If you want to take a gamble with AVIS of Cedar City, do it at your own risk, just have a backup plan. I DO NOT recommend.

I asked to speak to a supervisor, she stated that the supervisor was off and she is not going to bother them. I called Enterprise corporate. They confirmed that our employee should not have to provide a credit card, everything gets charged to the corporate account. I asked her to contact the location and she stated that she was not allowed to contact any enterprise franchise. She recommended that i call and talked to the supervisor there. I called back and spoke with Theresa. I ask to speak with a supervisor, she replied that she was the supervisor. Promotions within that office must be quick. I explain to her what enterprise corporate stated and she still insisted that she need a credit card to cover deposit. She then informed me that the reservation was cancelled by Egencia(booking agency we go through). I called Egencia. They stated they did not call and the reservation was still active. Yes, I could have just had the employee present a credit card. We have had this situation before and having proving that everything is to be charged to the corporate account already set up within Enterprise, it took weeks for the employee to get their money back. Instead, I had my employee take a uber down to St George to grab a rental there. ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES at St George. This is not the first time we have had issues with this location.

Started taking my three vehicles there, and every time, good service and good prices. An old truck was having some road noise issues. I took it to the dealer, who wrote me up a service order for $2600. I suspected that Matt's could beat that price. I left the truck at Matt's, but Matt called me after 20 minutes, and said I needed to come back to the shop. That worried me a little, but when I got there, he had my truck up on the lift, and showed me that all 4 items the dealer said needs replacing, were sound and didn't need repair or replacement at all. Saved me $2600 (less the cost of the shocks that he pointed out were in poor condition..and then almost all the road noise went away!). That sure cemented me to use only Matt's. Brought my cargo trailer in prior to a long road trip, and I wanted them to check everything out. They did, and when I offered to pay, he said "No charge. Didn't take us long, and you're a good customer..." or something like that. I am a mechanical idiot, but they never talk down to me, or make me feel stupid. And I always get a fair price from them.
