What a terrible experience - I rent a car weekly for work and just for the first time ever had to walk out without a car. I'm an executive level with National and was offered a Nissan Versa. I declined that and was told all other SUVs were rented. The women was incredibly rude and started off our interaction by yelling and shouting all of her questions. I reserved a car on Friday at 5PM using the Enterprise website as my car had broken down on interstate 89 outside of Barre. The website responded with a confirmation of the reservation for Saturday morning on 10 AUG 2024, which would have given enough time to get to the bus station in Lebanon, NH. Shortly before 9 AM, I received a voice message from Enterprise informing me that I was on their waiting list as they had no vehicles available. When I returned the call, Enterprise said that I might be able to get a vehicle in West Lebanon, NH or Williston, VT. Each of these locations are approximately an hour drive from Barre and the West Lebanon location is only a few miles from the bus terminal for which the car rental was needed. Nate at Enterprise suggested that I find another rental such as U-Haul and that a "confirmed reservation" only lets Enterprise know that we are coming. WTF? What a crappy business plan! DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. Very dissatisfied with their terrible customer service. read more

So I reserved a car for today June 17th 2024 for a 9:30AM pick up via through my insurance with the agreement that it was supposed to be a small SUV or a full size sedan since that is what I am used to driving and that is what the insurance would paid for and cover. I spoke with enterprise at the Berlin office in advance about this too who assured me that they would be able to reserve an appropriate car for me. Well when I arrived today for 9:30AM they gave me a ford expedition..... I was not impressed and asked what happened since I reserved and they apologized but didn't give me a real explanation as to why I didn't get what was agreed on. They claimed they had no other cars available and would call me in a few days when something came back. I ended up connecting with the enterprise on Williston road and dropped off the expedition and took a more appropriate car. All of the employees there apologized for Berlin's screw up and said that shouldn't have happened. I will not be returning to the Berlin location after today's mess read more

This place is an actual scam. Never ever rent a car from Enterprise. They will do anything to scam you out of money. Walk to work if you have to! read more

I have had 3 different occasions when I have needed to rent a car with this location. The employees are beyond helpful, friendly, flexible, and accommodating. Super friendly and great service. They were able to meet me at the auto repair place where I had to leave my car, and I was able to leave the rental there when I went to pick up my car once the repairs were complete. Pricing was as competitive as any other rental company and included this added service. All of my other experiences with Enterprise at other locations was seamless and super as well. I live in Barre, VT, where I rented a vehicle from Enterprise in October and November, 2017. I had to get my regular car serviced and had no rental coverage on my auto insurance. Luckily I found a discounted rate for Enterprise online. Not only was the rental a bargain, but the deal allowed me to pay when I picked up the car. I honestly expected to get to the rental place and get overcharged or find out the car I wanted was not available. That's happened to me a few times over the years, so now I tend to be skeptical of any so-called deals. But when I got to Enterprise in Barre to pick up my car, the staff was cheerful and helpful. Garrick told me that they didn't have the car I had reserved, so he gave me a free upgrade. For the same price. When it turned out that I needed the car for an extra week, Garrick told me to keep the larger car at the original price. And he handled it all by phone. He made the rental process pleasant and easy. This was the best car rental experience I have ever had. I would definitely recommend this Enterprise location. They are outstanding. read more

The staff was so helpful and kind! I have mobility issues and they were wonderful, even loaded my my suitcase into the car for me. At the end of my trip, I had to drop off the car and then catch the train back home, and when I asked if they could recommend a taxi service to the train, they said oh, we'd be glad to take you! So they very kindly dropped me at the station, and the young lady walked me all the way to the platform while carrying my suitcase. They went above and beyond with their service. The facility was spotless, as was the car. I will definitely do business with and will highly recommend them! read more
