Did the return journey from St Mawes to Falmouth ... journey to Falmouth was great .... nice staff but definitely loses stars on the journey back from Falmouth to St Mawes... the crew member on the Queen of Falmouth was a total waste of space. Ok - I might be 63 but Im pretty fit but when you are going up and down slippy steps and not in your comfort zone a little bit of help wouldnt go amiss He watched me struggle with two dogs ( on the forward journey the crew member had been amazing and helped me climb on first so that the dogs followed ) and then when I dropped a parcel on the floor it was beyond him to actually move a step and pick it up for me while I was trying to walk up the steps to the quay... he just stood and stared and made me feel I was stupid wanting to use their boat He actually ruined a lovely day out as I got very stressed due to his lack of support.. read more

Took the trip from Falmouth the Truro and back and thoroughly enjoyed it. The boat is quite basic but has refreshments, toilets and an inside area if the weather is bad. The 1 hour journey has just the right amount of commentary to point out interesting sights and boats without it becoming over-powering. A good day out. read more
