I remember the first time I had a Meursault. I wasn't completely sure that I even liked white wine until a handful of years ago. By the third one I was sold. Now I find myself drinking this as a go to if I don't know what I want. Ente Arnaud like many of the other vintners in the Meursault/Puligny-Montrachet region have really opened my eyes to what good white wine should be like. The minerality, varied brightness in acid, and overall complexity in taste was revelatory. This time it was my turn to convert someone else who thought they didn't like white wine and after having a bottle of the Arnaud Ente, Meurseult, "La Sève du Clos," 1er Cru, Burgundy 2006, they too are now a believer. read more
