She understood the problem with my hearing aids and was able to quickly plan the resolution. I had to leave but received a call within one half hour that my hearing aids were repaired and ready for pick up. Also, she was most helpful with receipts and information that I needed. Thank you Barbara and Dr. Dold for such great service!

We got my son's hearing aids here in June 2025 and were required to pay $7,500 upfront. We were…read moreexplicitly promised by the audiologist that Aetna would reimburse 90% of the cost. After seeing us only two times, that audiologist suddenly disappeared, and since then it has been nearly impossible to get help from anyone at this office. There is no continuity of care and no one who takes ownership of the situation. I have called the front desk and billing countless times. Billing has been condescending, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Meanwhile, I have spent hours on the phone with Aetna, who has also contacted this office multiple times trying to resolve the issue. Despite all of this, we are still stuck waiting on reimbursement and clear answers. This has been an absolute nightmare, especially when dealing with something as important as a child's hearing and such a large amount of money. I would never return to this practice and strongly caution others to get everything in writing and think carefully before paying a large sum of money upfront. Don't do it because you won't get your money back and they will not help you!!! My husband is now involved and he can't get anyone on the phone either. UGH!

I've driven by Kingston Audiology for years, but had never given them a second look. But I got a…read morebad case of swimmer's ear a while ago and my doctor convinced me to start wearing earplugs. I tried silicone ones from the drugstore, but wasn't happy with the fit. So when I read that Kingston Audiology was under new management, I made an appointment to get some custom-fitted earplugs. I've had friends warn me about going to an independent audiology shop, since they've had bad experiences with high-pressure sales tactics. But that wasn't what I experienced at Kingston. I made an appointment with the audiologist, and was delighted with the care I got. Not only did Dr. Tilley fit me for the earplugs, she gave me some tips for ear health that my regular doctor has never mentioned. I generally like to get my health care from someone who's up to date on their field, and that appears to be true for ears, too. I'm very happy with my earplugs, and haven't had any more problems with water in my ear since I've been wearing them. I think I'm going to go back and have some custom earplugs for hearing protection made, too. I'm going to work harder to make sure I stave off as much hearing loss as I can, and I'm confident I've found a local partner to help me in that quest.
