This isn't the synthetic grass your grandma used to have. The assortment of different turfs available on site is amazing. Who knew that synthetic turf came in so many different variations and lengths? I walked out with the "streetervile" and couldn't be more happy with the recommendation. The staff cut the turf precisely to the size I requested and it fit my balcony perfectly. Living in a downtown chicago high rise, I missed the feeling of stepping out my door and feeling grass under my feet. Well now I can have the feeling of soft grass under my toes any time I step on to my balcony. Installation of this high quality turf was a breeze. I honestly believe that the turf I placed on my balcony is better quality than what the chicago bears practice on in lake forest. The synthetic turf just looks so real.

Plus as an East Garfield Park resident, visiting Dearborn Wholesale Grocers gets me on the other side, which is the West Garfield Park side which I rarely visit, yet have several Yelp bookmarks of businesses in West Garfield Park. I dropped in one afternoon to pick up dinner, as well as check Dearborn Wholesale out. I was totally observant while visiting, examining their prices. Dearborn Wholesale benefits that buyer that wants to purchase food items by the bulk. And most of the prices reflect the item being purchased by the bundle. For instance! Buying 3 or more of the item gets you that item cheaper versus purchasing it individually. Get my gist? Since I was just purchasing little, I really had to look at the prices thoroughly so that it was not a surprise once I got to the register. In the end I was slightly disappointed with how 'The Garfield Lawndale Voice' listed the coupons for Dearborn Wholesale Grocers, because if you are someone like me just shopping for groceries the coupons can easily be misleading. Their window displays are just a tiny snap shot of the amazing shop that Yearbook is. In addition, their design services are top notch! If you're lucky, during your visit, you may get to meet the official Yearbook mascot, shop dog Henry Clarence. Henry is currently running for president and has done an amazing job raising money for all the animals at the Oak Park animal shelter. I highly recommend Yearbook! I finally got the maple syrup jug (made and bottled just for them) that the husband had wanted and picked up some of their store-exclusive candles (no typical boring scents here!) and a vintage travel case and some wood handled toothbrushes. I've got to go back soon and visit the studio to have some crew-themed pillows, etc. made to bring me back to the days when I actualy rowed. I am so glad we had this forum to shop because I would have missed that things you would just assume are decoration (because they are vintage) are actually for sale!
