Highly unprofessional. A few years ago Ms. De Pooter treated a family member I was having some…read moreconflicts with and after several sessions invited me in to a session together. I only agreed under the presumption it may help my family member. I was not her patient yet after inviting me in to her sessions she proceeded to question and analyze me about my relationship and career status. Then rather condescendingly suggested I had relationship issues and provided me a phone number for a career tech school. I have a bachelors degree and 25 year career in my field, but she never asked. I kindly replied that I have my own therapist I trust for many years and wasn't there for her counseling, to which she replied to the effect of "lot of good that's doing". When I tried explaining some of my own physicians diagnosis which could've helped her better understand the real situation she couldn't care less. I've never once met a professional therapist or family counselor who would dare invite an outside person into someone else's session, analyze and provide them advice in one session while knowing almost nothing about them and certainly would not recommend this doctor to anyone in need of professional counseling or therapy. She didn't listen and did not help our family situation at all.
