Even though my birth plan had to be dramatically altered due to medical complications, she helped tremendously to give me back some autonomy over the process and coached me and my husband to overcome labor pains without resorting to medication. I was skeptical of doulas prior to working with Jenn, especially since I gave birth once before without one, but she is truly amazing and made my second birth even better and more relaxing than my first.
