They refused to schedule me for a single breast and advised me to have my doctor rewrite the order to have BOTH breast done. I'm not at an age that insurance would cover this as anything but diagnostic. Very unethical for them to pressure me into services beyond my medical needs, just to satiate the curiosity and greed of an imaging facility that is not my doctor. I'll be going elsewhere. Don't let them take advantage of you and have you doctor alter your original orders, so they can make more money.

First of all if you need an xray you cannot schedule an appointment! NEVER heard that before! I brought him in at 1215pm and he did not get out of there until 215pm! Apparently they will schedule an appointment for everything else! I am writing this because not only do they appear to be somewhat scattered, but they did NOT put the protective gear on him even after asking repeatedly to do so. They only put the protective mat near his thyroid ( which kept falling off), yet his xrays included buttocks..thigh..groin. (not sure why the groin) leg and foot (and more). My friend is relatively young and it was not a good experience. The waiting area needs a good cleaning. Staff needs more training in properly doing xrays and being more sensitive to the patients needs. I believe i will encourage him to go to the hospital next time for xrays as they are probably more experienced and professional. I am thankful that the area i live in DOES schedule xrays which makes it a well oiled machine and a good experience for their patients!
