I was very happy with my deep cleaning from Eni. I received a quick reply to my request for a quote and availability, and easily set up a time for them to come a couple of days later. She and another woman arrived right on time for my scheduled appointment. I had a few spots I let her know upfront that I would like to make sure were included in the deep clean, but for the most part, they quickly went about their work, and had my 2 BR/1 BA sparkling in about two hours. They asked me to look everything over before they left, and having paid for a deep clean, I LOOKED. They moved my furniture to sweep and mop underneath, cleaned my windows, baseboards, dusted the ceiling fan, did some sort of magic in my cat's food and litter area, got food spills out of my fridge, even washed my son's baby bottles in addition to all the regular cleaning. I can't find anything they missed or didn't do that I asked. They did everything but my laundry, but to be honest, if I had asked, they probably would have tossed a load in for me too. It pains me to write this review, as I have been using Eni's cleaning services for the past few years and think she herself is a very nice person. However, after being robbed by one of the cleaners, I needed to share this review. In the past, I've generally been happy with the cleanings, though there have been minor issues here and there. The quality of the cleaning often depends on who Eni sends, as some cleaners are better than others. On occasion, I've had to point out areas that weren't up to par. I also had one incident where one of the cleaners left my home unlocked while I was on vacation and accidentally took my keys. The keys were returned to my lockbox the next day, but my home remained unlocked until I returned. Eni apologized, and we agreed not to have that cleaner return to my home. While she was kind, I couldn't risk that happening again. What prompted me to write this review, however, was a robbery. This past weekend was my birthday, and I had several birthday cards (one still sealed in an envelope) in a pile on my dining room buffet. When I returned home, I noticed the pile was missing. Normally, if there are papers in the house, the cleaners either clean around them or neatly stack them without moving them. I asked Eni to check with the cleaners (one of whom was new and had never cleaned my home before) to see where the cards had gone. I was told they were placed in a cabinet on the shelf--something they shouldn't have done in the first place. I checked, and sure enough they were where they said they were but the sealed card had been opened, the money was gone, and a card that previously contained a gift card was missing the gift card. I called Eni immediately and expressed how upset I was. She was very apologetic, told me she had fired the cleaner who took the money, and offered to send me the amount that was stolen (which she did through Venmo). However, after this experience, I felt that I could no longer trust her service. The fact that Eni doesn't seem to properly vet the people she hires makes it impossible for me to continue using her services. I can't risk having someone like that in my home again. read more

I used Eni's Cleaning for years and wanted to stay a loyal customer but her team is unreliable and they no-show all the time. The last time this happened I told her I was pregnant and couldn't handle the stress of the scheduling issues because it's constantly a problem and they kept giving me excuses all the time for why they were hours late or not coming at all. She rescheduled me to the following day and they no-showed AGAIN. Then she rescheduled me for today and almost 2 hours after my cleaning no one was here. Used this company for a student apartment move-in cleaning on 9/1. Due to this being the busiest moving day in Boston, I asked her to put us down for 9/1 back in May. Communicating with the owner was very difficult, with incoherent and sporadic responses. I sent her the address of the apartment 6 times, and she asked me how much she quoted me three times. The night before the cleaning I texted her and she asked me which city I was expecting cleaners! The communication did not inspire confidence, but the reviews were so high I figured it was worth it if they showed up and cleaned well. She originally quoted me $150 (it is a 200 square foot studio), then $200, and then when the cleaners arrived she said it would be $350 for two people to stay for one hour. Once they left (I only felt obligated to pay the $200 since I agreed to that, but even that was totally too much, and I tipped $50 before I realized what a terrible job they did), I realized they just did a regular cleaning. They didn't wipe down the inside of the three cabinets nor did they open the oven. They just wiped things down. They did not touch the blinds. They also did not touch the kitchen floor. We paid $250 for a clean bathroom, wiped down sink and stove and a mopped floor in the main room. The kicker came 30 minutes after they left when my husband and I smelled gas. When they wiped down the stove they left gas coming out of an unlit burner. All in all it was inconvenient, way overpriced and even dangerous. I simply cannot believe they have only positive reviews based on my experience. I think they have somehow gamed the review process because my google review of them does not appear. On 12-26-18, I called Eni and she was extremely professional. I described what I needed, and she politely asked 2 questions: 1. Apt. specs, I.e ours is a 2 bed 1 bath, home office, 800 sq ft And 2. Address, I.e my other half and I live in Central Sq. Eni described for 5-10 minutes in detail where and how they perform cleaning and provided the time her team would stop by. We agreed on time, scope-of-work, and total cost (cash or check). 3. On 12-26-18, same day, you her team shows up, on time, and yes they understood English, and scope of work Eni and I discussed. 4. The two stars are for an adequate job done cleaning. Really, nothing to complain about here. I wouldn't call it thorough, or top notch, but, you know, it's exactly what's advertised on the tin. Communicating about when, where, how, and what to clean was really difficult. We were setting up appointments via yelps message system, but whoever I was messaging never took the time to read my messages. I had to repeat any question or request for clarification multiple times. I was trying to schedule two different cleanings, and it took many repetitions to establish that, among other things. This was also the case with establishing a quoted price. After the first cleaning, we had two different people asking us to venmo them payment. And since we hadn't been present during the cleaning, the fact that this request came before we could have possibly inspected the job was a bit jarring. We eventually squared away who exactly should be paid, so it all worked out. And as I mentioned at the top, the quality of the work was adequate. All might be forgiven had it been exceptional. But given the hassle, I wouldn't put them at the top of my list next time around. read more

On Aug 17, I called and "Eni" and left a voicemail, explaining that I need my rental apartment cleaned for Sept 1. I received a text reply shortly thereafter. Over text, we agreed on a time/date (Aug 26, 1030am). On Aug 25, I text to confirm the appointment. I didn't hear back, so I followed-up with an additional text. I received a reply confirming our appointment. Today is Aug 26; "Eni" never showed. I texted her at 1035am, and did not receive a reply. I called her at 1040am, and after several rings the call went to voicemail. At 1245pm, I received texts from two different numbers. "Eni" texted me to say that her cleaning crew "got stuck". At 1255pm, her cleaning crew explained over text that "we are little late because my care tire stuck". I thought that in the age of instant communications (calling, texting, email), we'd be able to avoid problems like this. Kind of like, 95% of Seinfeld episodes would end in 3 minutes if they only had mobile phones to communicate with each other. Either way, I strongly suggest that you find another cleaning company. With service like this, I'm not sure how there can be so many positive reviews. Maybe the cleaning is done well, and the price is right, but I've just wasted three hours of my life driving into the city, waiting, driving home, and now leaving a much-deserved one-star review. read more

I hate to be debbie downer on the 5 star party here, but we have not had the same level of service from Eni's Cleaning that everyone else has had (in particular, her sister, who doesn't seem to want to vacuum *ANYWHERE*). I'm a huge fan of second chances, but when you need to ask, "can you please vacuum, everywhere, each time you clean?" and instead they proceed to not vacuum almost anywhere and mop over dust making a bigger mess than when they started. This is not a resolvable situation. Our place is actually very clean to begin with and we have biweekly service for the past 2-3 months. Even from the beginning, I've been finding dust bunnies in very obvious places that aren't hidden under furniture. To me, anyway, we shouldn't have to ask for a "deep cleaning" versus a "regular cleaning" - regardless, most everything they have done has been a light cleaning at best. I've never (ever) been thrilled w/these guys work, but didn't want to complain by saying "can you please clean better - this is average work". The straw that broke the camels back was that I had to leave the house after they arrived last week to clean (I didn't tell them, but it was for 5-10 minutes max). I think they thought I left for the day. I got home and they were already wrapping out from having "cleaned" a bathroom and three bedrooms upstairs. The vacuum never even made it up the stairs and they simply mopped over all the dust leaving a disgusting mess on the floors (I'm not sure they've ever vacuumed this floor as I ran the robot vac up there LATER THAT SAME DAY and the vacuum dirt bin was FULL OF DUST/DIRT - the same day it was cleaned! Our place is already clean to begin with! They had the vacuum on for a grand total of about 10 minutes for a 2200 sq foot space. No vacuuming of any baths and only the kitchen area. (go figure why there are so many dust bunnies everywhere!). They mopped over both hair and dust on the bath floors and we are paying (& tipping for this service!). They skipped over (repeatedly) cleaning our stairs and entryways (that we pay to have cleaned each time they are here!). I hung in here too long - these two cleaners were always were done in just over an hour (& were sometimes were done in an hour). I'm guessing people have different levels of how they like things cleaned. If we lived like a bunch of pigs here, I'm sure our place would look much better after their hurried hour of cleaning, but our place is clean to begin with and I guess that means they feel like they can just skip it all and take the money and think we won't notice. I also ran our robot vacuum on our main floor after their "cleaning" and (yes, big surprise) the dirt bin was full after it was done. Obviously furious, I texted Eni to not bother coming by to clean anymore. Eni texted and was apologetic and offered (a couple times) to come make this right (...with another team, I guess someone not her family?) and offered our money back. I'm sorry but this is supposedly your sister who couldn't give a crap about damaging her own family company - so how should another team give any more of a crap? Thank you anyway, but please use the money we paid you to send your sister to cleaning school or strap a nanny cam on her so you can make sure she's doing her job. read more

We were able to arrange for a very affordable cleaning only 1 week in advance, and for the weekend. Two women showed up to our door on time (to the minute!). We stayed around for a few minutes to answer questions, but they were clearly professionals and started cleaning immediately after they'd walked in the door. They didn't show up to work that day. The first cleaning was excellent, but the second service was a huge waste of time and money. They gave excuses of car trouble etc. for the overpriced and poor job. My floors are still dirty even after this "deep cleaning". Be prepared for the unexpected as they don't communicate well or even speak your language, but will still charge you full price for doing half the job.
