My wife, her sister, and husband, and I went to a 2-hour painting session at Painting with a Twist…read morelast night with the "Autumn in the Air" painting and Hanna as our instructor. We purchased the canvas and also opted for an $8 glass of vino to help get the creative juices flowing! The two hours were fun and the instruction by Hanna was great. We used acrylic paints (which were easy to work with), and three sizes of brushes: The Big Mama 1", "The Bob"...aka Bob Ross medium-sized, and the "Baby" (thin) brush. Hanna was a wonderful - and patient - instructor, and being the first time painting made it all a lot of fun. She walked around, helping folks and responding to everyone's questions. She provided additional paint as needed, and the whole experience was very pleasant. Hanna took pictures of all of us at the end (using our cell phones), and all four of us left with our canvases! A good time was had by all! We'll be back....maybe for the black-light painting event...but next time we'll bring our own three brushes as the ones provided were a little bent at the brush end.
