Called Enhanced Electrical Service to run a new outdoor power line to our pool pump house. They gave us a very competitive estimate and did wonderful work installing the new line. The job was actually pretty difficult. There is a lot of yard stuff in the way like a sprinkler system, a rock wall and a tree with some nasty roots. They did a great job with running the new line to get around all those obstacles. The most important part is they did the whole job in a single day, did quality work, did everything we asked plus more, and did not rush it in order to get to some other commercial job like other electricians we have hired. I am very impressed with their level of service and professionalism! We had an electrical problem that caused a power outage to three of the units in our building. The electrician that we have used in the past could not help and for some reason did not want to give us any referrals (that latter part really annoyed me). That is when I took to Yelp... I found great reviews for this company, so I called them. Jim answered the phone. He said that even though he was booked, he would try and get a tech over there in the afternoon. Glen (the tech) showed up at the end of the day. He notified me that the problem was with the meeter side of the line and said I should call NV Energy. I just got around to writing this review for service in January. An appliance installation company told me that my new dishwasher could not be installed until an electrician came to undo the hard wiring that existed so I called Enhanced Electrical Service. The electrician quickly determined that there actually was an outlet behind the old appliance so advised that no work was needed. I then had him check out the electrical panel to make sure that it was in order and not in need of updating. He did this, answered questions and said that no updating was needed. Very honest, straightforward and knowledgeable. The charge was minimal (like 1/2 an hour including travel time). I'll definitely call them again when in need of an electrician. read more

Called for fan repair and light repair. Light got fixed. Fan did not. Repairman, Joe, actually asked for the 800 number. Ridiculous "knowledge" of ceiling fans. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Joe dropped a tool and put a chip in my floor!! The middle of my living room!!! What do they do? Gave a SMALL discount. I have a huge chip in the middle of my living room now!! Even I could have called the 800 number to troubleshoot with the company! Especially if that was the extent of the repairman's knowledge! He did fix a light, so at least something got done, but I'd go with another company that cares about the quality of service and will tell you to call the 800 number and not waste your money. Also someone that is cautious enough to not drop tools on your floor from a 6 ft tall ladder. read more

I was referred to Jim by a friend. I explained my problem, random plugs that did not work, and he was able to diagnose it straight away. He told me it sounded like a GFI problem, and I should look for the unit somewhere in the vicinity of the main breaker box in the garage. He said he was willing to come over, but it would probably require pushing one button. He was right. Once I located the offending unit and pressed the button, everything magically worked again. Just an excellent company. I feel bad that I can't remember the name of the woman I dealt with when first calling. It's rare to encounter someone so competent right off the bat when you call a service type company these days. Could not recommend these guys higher. BTW mine was just a small residential job(bill under a grand)so don't hesitate to call if you're not a large commercial entity.
