I attempted to stop by the location in Yakima this morning. I pulled and waited for several…read moreminutes, then a guy that seemed like he didn't know anything softly asked if I needed help. I told him I had not been there before and asked what to do. He said people normally park out on the street and they bring them a bin. I rattled off what I had in my trailer, with about 2k lbs of steel and iron in it, and he said he wasn't sure what you take and would ask someone. I told him I checked the website and verified, but ok. Another guy came walking out a min or so later and said, "move your car", I told him I was waiting for someone to check my load and gestured to the fact that I was currently blocked in. He told me another customer needed to leave (who could easily pull out without me moving) and in a very hard, almost yell told me "your going to move right now". I told him I was going to leave, never come back, and leave bad reviews and he just walked off, not caring at all. Meanwhile the 1st guy stood there dumbfounded. I got some help from another patron to squeeze back out and went to another place down the road. I was told by others not to go here because the people suck, I thought I would find out for myself... they were right.

I've never seen my husband so disappointed when he got back from the shop. The scratches were a little ridiculous. He was super bummed, but less than an hour later one of the owners called him personally to express how that work was NOT up to their standards as a business and wanted to work with him on how to make it right. Thank you Sporthaus for doing something a lot of business owners (and let's be honest, the majority of people) dont do, which is taking accountability and wanting to make things correct. She has an excellent eye and her decisions are always right on the nose. I will be sad for the day when Sun and her husband decide to retire and close Han's tailoring. Tailoring is becoming a lost skill. In our throw away society we think is ok to toss out quality clothing and simply buy new. Han's tailoring shows us how what we already have can be used again. There's better jobs out their like Community Living, who pay better, treat their employees AND clients better, and manage a more professional environment.
