Kathy was diligent in making sure my horse was fed properly plus adding her supplements that she needed. l was always let know when she was running low on her supplements. There is a wash rack and large arena to ride in. Kathy made sure we had horse clinics to have all horses up to date on their shots and had an excellent farrier, Bob Broussard, come regularly. There are lots of empty fields to ride your horse around in. Hatcher Farms may not be the fanciest place, but it is reasonably priced and you know your horse is well cared for. It is a friendly gossip free place, everyone gets along and located in an area free of heavy traffic. l enjoyed keeping my horse Roulette there, and unfortunately she recently passed away. Kathy was there with me to the very end offering support and comfort during this difficult time. l highly recommend boarding your horse here. If l decide to get another horse, l definitely will come back. Thank you Kathy for everything!

Rating: (5/5 stars) As a dedicated pet owner and Equine owner, finding the best veterinarian clinic for my companions has always been a top priority. Fortunately, my quest led me to the exceptional Badger Creek Veterinarian and Hunter Stallion Station, and I can confidently say that it stands out as the best vet office I've ever encountered. From the moment I stepped through their doors, I was warmly greeted by their attentive and friendly staff. Dr. Robert Hunter, the heart and soul of the clinic, exudes a passion for animal care that is evident in every aspect of his practice. His expertise and gentle approach make him the ideal veterinarian for any pet. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions, putting my mind at ease about my pet's health. The support team at Badger Creek is second to none. Alturo, Alturo, Felix, Amy, and Cheryl Bellew, among others, work seamlessly together to ensure the clinic runs smoothly. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly love what they do, which shines through in their interactions with both pets and their owners. I felt reassured knowing that my pets were in the hands of such a dedicated and caring crew. The facilities at Badger Creek are immaculate and equipped with the latest technology, showcasing their commitment to providing top-notch medical care. They offer a wide range of services, from routine check-ups to complex surgeries, ensuring that each pet's unique needs are met with the utmost attention and expertise. One particular aspect that sets Badger Creek apart is their emphasis on educating pet owners. Dr. Hunter, Amy, and his team take the time to explain treatments, preventive measures, and proper pet care, empowering owners to be proactive in their pet's well-being. This personalized approach fosters a sense of trust and partnership, making the experience all the more rewarding. On several occasions, I've had to contact the clinic during emergencies, and the staff has always responded promptly and with genuine concern. They prioritize urgent cases and handle them with the highest level of professionalism and care. I cant thank Cheryl Bellew enough~ I am not the easiest customer to deal with as my animals mean more to me than people lol. I tend to panic and Cheryl knows how to calm me down and make me feel confident. In conclusion, Badger Creek Veterinarian and Hunter Stallion Station have exceeded all my expectations for a veterinary clinic. Dr. Robert Hunter and his extraordinary team are the epitome of excellence in animal care. Their compassion, expertise, and genuine love for animals make them an invaluable resource for pet owners in the area. I wholeheartedly recommend Badger Creek to anyone seeking the best possible care for their beloved pets. They truly deserve all the accolades for being the most amazing crew a person could ask for in a veterinary clinic.

Took my2 year old mini there for some training, said he needed to also be boarded so that she could work with him daily...said he would be watched 24/7...actually took my mini horse there, left him behind an unsecured fence ( the bottom was completely curled up and the top metal post was not attached properly) next to two large horses ( that I found out later were not hers, were just a borders) over night and left. The next morning I get a call at 7AM the the two big horses knocked down the fence and trampled my mini. At first she tried to play it off like he was fine, just a small puncture wound( diagnosing when she is not a vet) and thought I should still keep him there with her and in training. However when a vet arrived, the vet called me and told me a much different story on his injury. His puncture wound basically severed his leg to his body. He had to be taken to ER where a surgeon told me even if they were able to repair it, it would continue to separate and he would have a poor quality of life, they recommended he be put down. Now mind you the surgeon told me he gets a lot of his business from Kwick ranch, so he did not want to say anything negative about them. But did say I would have to pay for him to be put down and cremated as the $8,000 surgery would no repair it enough and puncture was so deep, that he was concerned of a infection. Also the bone could not be repaired where it would not keep popping out and affecting him or causing additional surgeries. THe trainer was told all of this and took NO responsibility. Her words were " You were aware of the risks associated with training...." He was not training at the time. He was STOMPED to the point that he had to be PUT DOWN in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT by two horses being boarded by KWIK RANCH, and even though it was horses border by KWIK ranch and the faulty fence belongs to KWIK ranch, the owner also took no responsibility. Not even an apology. I have all photos, texts, emails everything if anyone would like to see them. Indluding photos of the fence on the ground, which was broken by the two horses and pics of the fence before it was knocked down, showing that the bottom was completely curled up and not attached to the ground. Why would anyone even put minis next to two large horses that are not even theirs? Leave unattended over night. WHere were the owners of Kwik ranch while my horse was being stomped!!! Must have made some noise! Oh that's right, he was not directly boarded with KWIK ranch because their Border was subletting and not telling new clients that she is not actually employed and work for KWIK ranch. WHat a great loophole for them both to get out of responsibility for this. STAY FAR FAR AWAY, he is not the only horse injured due to fencing, bad judgment, and carelessness.
