This is sort of ling, sorry bout that, just Venting! I would give it a 2 or 2-1/2. I searched for three weeks looking for a 2018 F150 and found a few, the one I purchase was one I had looked at several times. A little more that I wanted to pay and really didn't get them down in price a little till the end. The other few I pulled a Carfax on but not this one. I was told it was a local that owned it and traded it in, a 1 owner truck. So my mistake for not pulling up the info and believing the sales folks. After paying prior to picking the truck up a few days later I pulled the Carfax only to find the Truck was NOT local or even from Florida. When I picked the truck up and ws also give a CarCheck. Carfax had 4 owners the Auto Check said 2? I questioned it and was given a line of bull, they said it just was re-registered so add a owner but was the same person. Was not true, both reports had it at Auction once and Carfax had it actually sold 4 times and showed more detailed service than the AutoCheck! Last but not least It was to be detailed and was, but why not scub the bedliner down, has a cover so did not notice. So now I have a 2018 Truck and was told it was a Florida truck, so should have no rust correct. Crawled underneath only to find out ( From it Acutally Being a Northern Michigan Truck) rust all over. Now I am under the truck killing the rust with OSPHO and painting, something I was not planning on having to do at 74 yrs old! When I picked it up told the salesperson I never would had bought it if I had know I had been flat out lied to and it WAS NOT a local Florida truck. It's my mistake for not crawling around under it and investigating. Just a warning...Be Careful who you trust, they were friendly but lied! I should made them put it up on the lift so could have checked it, my mistake. I won't go back there, plenty of Ford dealers around. read more

From they won't file my insurance so that I can get back what money is covered or they will they just gave him the wrong codes and it's been a year later also went in for implants and my implants fall out they don't work they pretty much said they tried everything they can't do it So now I have implants and teeth that fall out when I eat or talk so you can start with improving that that would be wonderful. read more

Brought in my F350 to get serviced and an alignment since it was pulling hard. One week later get the truck back, it is still pulling. They ASSURED me it was okay. Turns out they never even checked it, the camber was out a certain degree causing it to pull. THEN I mentioned multiple times that something was strange with the idle. They ASSURED me that they checked it multiple times and everything was okay. Not even 20 miles later when I got the truck back the coil pack FAILED. STAY AWAY from Englewood ford services depart. Waste of money and time. A certified YouTube mechanic could do a better job. read more

Stay away from ENGLEWOOD FORD. put a engine in my truck and tech broke lots of parts and tried hiding them from me. also couldn't even put transmission dip stick in correctly. it was leaking bad. had to work on my truck for about a hour after it was supposedly finished just to get out of the parking lot. brought situation to manager and he told me I should I have put engine in myself and to take it up with tech. would not recommend this place to anyone. awful experience with dishonest people. read more

Avoid Englewood Ford! Bought a 2022 Lincoln Corsair and got a 7.1% interest rate despite an 830+ credit score. They promised to replace a broken door switch and perform an ozone treatment because the car was infested with ants--but never followed through. I called multiple times and was ignored. I also asked for a full Ford software diagnostic (the technician-level report), but they only gave a basic checklist and acted clueless. Once they make the sale, they disappear. This is another Complaint after my last in 2021. It has gotten worse. Exactly 4 years ago when I was lied to about the truck things continue to get worse. as previously mentioned in my review from Sept 17, 2021. Might wish to read it also. I needed back brakes now and it will cost way more than the $550 the garage quoted me for rear pads and rotors. The truck being from Canada (NOT A LOCAL FLORIDA TRUCK AS I WAS TOLD) rust continues to be a problem. Turns out the now due to all the rust from northern weather has frozen the rotors to the axle packing plate solid. They tried heat and the puller with no luck. The calipers are corroded and rusted beyond function. Solution is to pull the axles to do the job. Cost wise it is cheaper to replace things than try to get them in decent condition. the $550 now has turned into $2500 to $3000 all because the Salesman flat out lied to me. Hears another one, a few weeks after buying the truck we bought a used Ford Escape for the granddaughter. Once again got lied to. was told the car just came in and needed detailed. found out at a later date it had come in weeks before and according to records had almost 500 miles put on it after Englewood Ford took it on trade. 1300 miles later the electric steering went out, there goes another $2600. Finding the heat shields under the car bent up thought is it went off the road at some point due to steering problems. the almost 500 miles put on by Englewood Ford was probably to test and see if the steering problem would happen again. Could have been a bad situation for a mother with two small children. To the point: the dealership is NOT TO BE TRUSTED in any way shape or form. read more

I was perfectly happy with Englewood Ford before I found out how the place really operates, which is to ignore customers who write to them and leave phone messages. The issue is that I took a loan on the car and paid it off in four payments (at the sole request of the dealership). I was told that, after I do that, I would receive a reimbursement for one of my add-ons (a gap insurance sort of thing). I kept my part of the bargain, but when I tried contacting the dealership, I was ignored. Actually, I did get a voicemail box and left a voicemail with a "John," but he never bothered to return my call. I also worked with the virtual assistant on the website, which assured me that I would receive a response. I did not. And I sent more than one contact form about the issue, all of which were ignored. In short, CAVEAT EMPTOR. Try another Ford dealership, particularly if you are getting a more expensive make and model. I've never had a dealership make a promise and refuse to make good on it (county me lucky, perhaps?). And I certainly never have been ignored. What gives, Englewood Ford? read more

UPDATE!!! So I received there generic review response. Contact us so we can help resolve your issue. I end up getting a call from service and was told that they passed me along to there sister store and a name and number. When I called she had no idea what I was talking about and told me I could pay there outside contractor to find/fix the leak. Then about 2hrs later I get another call and was asked to adjust my review in there favor. So I asked if they were going to take care of my problem and was still told no. I understand that it's a used car but I still paid good money for this car as a retirement gift to myself and this is what I'm stuck paying for now. Obviously they are to big to care about thier local veterans and stand behind there product. Very discouraged Purchased a used 2016 mustang convertible. Well it leaks and they basically said sorry call a body shop. I even bought the extended warranty through Ford. Still nothing. Very disappointed with this dealership. So I can deal with a car that floods for the next 5yrs or pay someone else to fix it. Hmmmm sounds pretty messed up to me. But hey they got there money right. Will not be buying another car from them. Small enough to care big enough to matter huh? Not much caring going on. read more

Went to look for a F150 from online and when I got there my wife and I were greeted by a young man named Brody. To be honest I like the fact that it wasn't some dude or female in a suit or uniform. He looked relaxed and that made the wife and I very comfortable. They didn't have the truck I was originally looking for but we found and drove something very similar and fell in love with it. I really wanted to rate this dealership higher but I honestly can't. The buying process with our sales person was good, he was honest and easy to deal with. This all changed when it came time for the financing the finance manager John was looking to sell an extended warranty, oil change service contract and securing a high interest rate loan. John was what I would consider unethical by doing what ever was necessary to convince and confuse us to the point that when we got home and we're reviewing the documents we realized that we were completely swindled. It was even necessary for us to come back the next day to redo our financial paperwork to remove all of the warranty and maintenance service contracts that we never wanted in the first place! He also told us that he thought it was "cute" that we felt a well built truck should last a long time. I wonder if John would have said this to a man? The whole process with John (the finance manager), left me feeling angry, frustrated and taken advantage of! Needless to say we would have a difficult time recommending Englewood Ford, but we do love our Ford truck. read more

My car had a recall for the pass side air bag. Got letter from Ford to get a rental as the airbag wad dangerous. Englewood Ford's answer was," don't ride in the passenger seat. They did business with Enterprise car rental and told us there were no rentals available. Called Enterprise and was told they had several cars available. Had to go to another Ford dealership for help. If Englewood Ford was the only dealership in FL, I'd buy a horse and buggy. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I recently turned my Ford Edge into the Englewood Ford dealership and purchased a CPO vehicle off their lot the same day. I was over on miles for my lease + 4 months lease payments. Englewood Ford kindly wrapped my lease payments owed + mileage payments into the purchase price of my new vehicle. HOWEVER, 2 months later I receive a notice in the mail that I owe Ford $619. I immediately called Englewood Ford and was told due to taxes (understandable) and "wear and tear" of my vehicle, this is what I would owe on my old lease. Turns out.... That was a lie! I proceeded to call Ford Credit to find out more information. I DID owe $147 in taxes (again, fine... in contract).... however, the remaining payments of the $619 were due to the fact that A) Englewood Ford STOLE my SD card out of my leased vehicle and now the car is 'sold' and no way to prove this ($98) and B) there was no 'wear and tear' on my vehicle. The truth was Englewood Ford did not calculate out my payments correctly on mileage at 0.15 per mile, and not the 0.20 you actually owe! Math geniuses they are. So not only do I owe $98 for a stolen product out of my old car, I'm also left with $365 on extra lease charges that I could have taken care of at the time of purchase for my new vehicle. So when you purchase a car from this dealership.... make sure you have your calculator handy! You'll owe money folks! read more

This is my first bad review I have ever written online but my experience here was terrrible. My husband and I bought a car three days ago and drove it 150 miles. There is already 1,600 dollars that needs to be fixed three days after we bought the car. It is something that would have come up in an inspection which they brag that they do, but I guess this wasn't part of their so called inspection wink wink (it was and the code did come up they just didn't look any further, my mechanic and theirs said this) It's the main module for the braking system. They also tried to tell me to get a new one from them and said they would give me a deal and work with me. They guy told me it would be 600 to 750 at the counter and then it went up to 1600 once they said they would work with me. Don't get your car fixed her unless you want to burn money. Just called my mechanic and they said stay away that they are super overpriced and not being honest. They knew about this and it's sad that they would do this to my husband and I who are expecting our first baby very soon. Also the buying process after we made the offer took 4 hours, longer than anywhere we have ever been by far. They told us we could finance under our business name but were wrong so we had to drive 2 hours to deal with more paper work. They brag that they only keep good vehicles and give the rest to the auction which is not true. They also told me that they didn't get rich from me when I asked if they could help us out. Buyer beware! Please don't tell me you are sorry in your management response you weren't and are super unprofessional and were yelling in front of my wife. Avoid this place. The day I left the dealership with a new ecosport 2021, it was one problem after another. They changed the battery, the sensor, reloaded the software for the interface screen. Went to Hackensack, another Ford dealership they found out that when the battery was replaced the cables were left loose. They also reloaded the software for the screen. Englewood service manager refused to write on the reports the multiple problems I was experiencing with the car. He told me, i can only write what my boss tells me to write. I don't want to lose my job. He also told me during a previous visit. I don't know why the sales manager did not exchange your car. End results, after 5 visits to englewood dealership, 2 visits in hackensack (they were so courteous and they also wondered why englewood would not exchange the car), I now have to go to another dealership as the interface screen is no longer working and hackensack is backed up. Blank screen. No radio, no back camera, no charger. Englewood shame on you. The worse place to go to. The sales manager tried to intimidate me and hang up the phone on me when I asked him to exchange the car. Subsequent visits, I went to his level as it was the only way to communicate with him. Purchased a used 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid from this dealership in May of this year. I love the car, but at no time in my life have I ever been so painfully reminded of the adage "buyer beware". I traveled almost 2 hours on a Saturday to look at this car that had been advertised as reduced and offering special discounts. If something seems like too good of a deal, there's usually a reason why. I loved the test drive and notice some minor cosmetic flaws. It's a used care, I though, I know it's not going to be perfect. Dealer fees seemed high and they had no interest in changing out the obviously unsafe tires, but I thought - meh, it's still a good deal and I like the car. I'll take it....... However, since purchasing the vehicle, I've had to come out of my pocket over $1,000 for repairs. Turns out the vehicle was in an accident that wasn't reported on the Car Fax. I have to think the dealer KNEW about this but said NOTHING. I was right about the tires, had to be replaced the day I took it to the mechanic. Have also needed wheel bearing replaced, new serpentine belt and tensioner pulley. The oil pain gasket and exhaust bushings will have to wait. In the future, no way I'm buying a used car without a trusted mechanic looking it over, FIRST... I should know better, but really thought I could trust this crew. Guess not. Two stars because, now that I've actually gotten some of the needed work done, I really love the car. Oh!! And that great warranty that Hyundai offers on new vehicles? It's transferable but reduces the time and mileage that they cover under. It had about two weeks left on it when I bought it. Didn't find that out until I started scheduling the work. The absolute WORST service department EVER! Took my vehicle in for noise coming front the front suspension. My vehicle was still under warranty they did a diagnosis and said parts were on order and would arrive in the morning. Everyone seemed to be reasonably nice at the onset, but when I went back the next morning NEITHER the service writer or mechanic were there, as it was their day off? So for some reason the problem was rediagnosed and was told that my vehicle had been in an accident (which it hadn't) so the repairs weren't going to be covered under warranty and and the second diagnosis ot went from a normal to a significant repair job because there was probably "MAJOR DAMAGE" and the mentioned repair would be quoted at $750 but possibly more "dependind on what they found" I have spent my entire life working on vehicles 50+ years so it's NOT at all hard to smell a con BEST ADVICE POSSIBLE STAY CLEAR FROM THIS HACK SHOP. Stay away from this place!!!! If I could give them a minus 5, I would have!!! It started when I got a call late on a Thursday afternoon from this dealership, whom I have never bought a car from, about a special they were having for their "VIP Customers" to trade in my 2018 F-150 to upgrade for a brand new clearance truck, as they were in desperate need of used trucks my year. I explained to the girl from the dealership that called, that I was not in the market for a new truck, that i was happy with the one they had. She told me they would give me $5000 over Kelly Blue Book for my trade, (which, for my truck in the condition it's in, is $21,451) and offer great financing rates. I told her that I still owed a pretty good amount of money on my current truck, and my credit had suffered some because of being sick in March with Covid-19. She told me they were there to help. I arrived Saturday morning, only to find I had no appointment scheduled, as promised. I was assigned with a sales rep, who let me test drive the the lowest priced F150 they had in stock, and was told the payment would be almost $600 a month. Are you Kidding Me??? Then they tried to put me into a low mileage 2017 F150 that I drove, and liked very much. I told the sales rep that I would be interested if they could keep my payment at $525. While I was test driving the truck, they appraised my 2018 F-150, (which was $37,000 new) at $17,000, and listed it as in "fair Condition." I was floored. I understand depreciation, but I keep my truck, which is white, well equipped, very clean and well maintained. The tires are half worn, but there is not a scratch or dent in the paint, the interior is spotless, and is always serviced by the Ford Dealership I purchased it from brand new. Where did they come up with this assessment, and where is the $5000 over Kelly invoice that was promised? That was the first straw. The second, and final straw, was when they told me my finance rate would be around 4% with some "special" lender that they had. I only pay 2.9% through Ford Credit. I told the girl on the phone that I probably wouldn't qualify in the first place, and the sales rep came back and told me that the bank wouldn't due the loan. After getting my hopes up on an upgraded truck, I wasted two hours of my Saturday being mortified about the situation I had been put in. After telling them I probably wouldn't qualify for financing, I would think they would have ran my credit before even discussing the possibility of even test driving a new vehicle. As I said in the beginning, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! they will lie to you and take full advantage of embarrassing you, while wasting your time. I am happy with the truck I have, and the dealer who sold it to me will always get my return business! read more

Called about this car before driving 60 miles to look at it and was told it had navigation. When we arrived was told no it doesn't have navigation. We decided that we could do without so purchased it anyway. Next day we found out it hadn't been serviced and was 1qt low on oil. Air intakes were full of leaves and cabin filter was plugged. Had to have serviced the next day. Also the next day Cars.com sent me an email saying price had been lowered $500. Staff was very helpful and Bob the salesman did everything he could to make us happy. Would recommend him and the staff we worked with but service on used cars is lacking! read more

Have 2 Fords now and both fell under a major recall for the continuous transmission issues. Communication was the worst I have ever experienced in ANY dealership. I always had to call to keep the "ball" rolling on replacement parts that were taking 2 to 3 months!. Continuous changes in management in service should be an indication of how it runs!! I know since I was in the "business" for over 30 years. (with Ford). Ownership and Upper management seem real fuzzy and avoid the calls at all costs....not recommended!! Still not fixed after over 6 months!! read more

Service department constantly recommends unnecessary repairs. Took my vehicle in for oil and filter change on two occasions. The 1st time they told me I needed to replace leaking front seal and I needed rear brake pads replaced. I took my car to two other ASE trained mechanics both said no problems with seal and the brake pads were good for 10-15 k. The 2nd time they told me I needed front end alignment and new ball joints. Once again I took my vehicle to two other repair shops and the alignment was fine (I did buy new tires after 50k) and they showed me very little wear in ball joints. I'm done going to this dealership. read more
