Well, let me just tell you I was totally ripped off by these people. I brought my push mower there…read moreto be serviced. I knew it was spitting out black oil. The man said it would be done in 1 1/2 weeks. I gave them 2 1/2 weeks When I went there to see if it was ready which it was not. He said he would call me in the next day or two which he never did. Three weeks later, I called there, left a message asking if my mower was done and I never received a reply. I called the next day and a woman answered. I asked her if my mower is ready and a few minutes later she says it is not so I tell her don't bother doing anything to it, I will pick it up tomorrow. She calls me 45 minutes later and says they just looked at it, and it is spitting Oil, we have mowers here for sale if you are interested. I said no, I am not. I will pick up my mower tomorrow. I go there to pick up the mower, which is basically taken apart, a bunch of parts are in a box. He proceeds to hand me a bill. I say are you serious you're really gonna charge me for doing nothing. He says we took it apart to see what was wrong. I did not have the money at the time so I left super pissed off. At that moment, the woman I talked to the night before was coming in, and I confronted her. Why did you have anybody take apart my mower when I told you I was picking it up today. She says that her son took it apart a few weeks ago. If that's the case, why didn't you call me a few weeks ago? I said you were totally lying through your teeth. Needless to say, I am not picking up my mower. I am so livid. It goes to show how people will take advantage of a woman that doesn't really know anything about machinery Take my advice stay clear away from this place

I've been dealing with Scott Volvo for many years, mostly the service department, for repairs and…read moremaintenance on the three Volvos we've owned. So this review is solely for the service department. Trust is so important when you are dealing with auto repair, especially when you know nothing about cars. One of my earliest experiences was with Ken (who is no longer there.) I asked him about snow tires for my c70. His response was, "I'll gladly sell you snow tires, but it won't do much good." Wow. Honesty over profits. That exchange cemented my loyalty to Scott Cars. The next stand-out experience was with Ted. I had to pick up my car immediately after a doctor's appointment, during which I learned I was cancer-free after a bout with breast cancer. Ted was the first person with whom I was able to share the news. He cheered as if I were a member of his own family and consoled me while I sobbed. In that moment, Ted made me feel cared about as a person, not just a customer. I will be eternally grateful. Most recently, I was faced with a large repair bill. Steve took the time--a lot in fact--to explain and SHOW me the work that needed to be done. He answered my calls and emails (there were many) and never lost patience when I flipped back and forth in deciding whether to proceed or not. (Shout out to mechanic Alex, too, who was honest with me and answered every question with kindness.) Speaking of large bills... I have always been told that dealers are way more expensive for repairs. I patronized Scott anyway, for the reasons above and more (expertise, authenticity, etc.) This time, I considered other options to try and cut back on the bill: a Volvo specialist at independent garages, purchasing OEM parts myself, etc. I researched like a scientist and analyzed the results. The difference in price was negligible. Yes, parts purchased wholesale were less, but with shipping, it was practically the same. Estimates from independent garages (those willing to provide an estimate) were only marginally lower and I didn't trust them in the way I trusted the employees at Scott. Also, an independent garage would not be shuttling me home or providing me a loaner car. In sum, the honesty, expertise, and convenience of Scott Volvo Service has made me a happy and loyal customer.

Got there around 2:30 and they pulled my car right in and had the rear tire off in 2 seconds flat. Found the leak (small nail/brad) and repaired it with a patch and not a plug. Sonny who worked on my tire was a complete pro and even put up with me looking over his shoulder all while asking numerous questions the entire time (hey, I'm an engineer/geek).
