I went into Computer Gallery when I lived in High Wycombe because my laptop charger broke. I wanted…read morethem to fix it or to buy another one and when I was in there it started working again so they just said to bring it back if it started playing up again. The guy was nice and I did think at the time that he could have ripped me off by pretending to fix it or sell me another one, rather than just admitting that it had started working again! The shop itself is biggish and they sell computers and accessories. I think they are both new and second hand computers.

That review claiming its a great place is clearly posted by a friend of the owner in a desperate…read moreattempt to redeem themselves, Theyre rip off merchants and unfriendly, unhelpfull, and frankly the worst shop ive ever been in, On one occasion i asked how much to reinstall windows 7 on my laptop, now the guy didnt know im a tech head and know exactly what im doing with pc,z and tried to charge me an extra tenner just to click one single mouse button whilst reinstalling windows, "which was the option to save my previous files" hah hah , you shouldve seen his face when he realised an urbanite such as myself knew what he was doing!!! The shop on desborough is even worse and the guy sometimes works in the other store, hes rude, unhelpfull to a ridiculous degree. 85% of people i know all say the same , , i went in there today in fact and thought "oh no not this bloody guy", and made me feel like a thief because i had a grocery bag in one hand, despite me having 150 quid in my pocket!!!, truly its the most expensive unfriendly place ive ever been too, and when i lleft i happened to bump into a friend and he gave me a lift home, as we were driving he asked what i was doing in town and i explained i was looking for a wifi adapter card, when i told him where i went he responded with so much foul language about the place it was hilarious, , in wycombe if you have to get a pc repaired quickl;y id goto advanced pc soloutions, "sumtimes only mind you as its not a shop that stocks parts" His reinstallation fee was 25 quid, theres was 40 quid with an extra tenner to tick a check box whilst reinstalling, avoid them at all costs , theyre useless and even if you ask em to source a PC Part the say "no " For gods sake wycombites, never ever go there, if you need a part goto amazon, they also tried to charge crazy prices on theyre laptops, and most are a crap spec, 4th gen thinkpad for 899 , get real!!! when i asked why is it so much, the reply was "coz its got win 10 pro and is a buisness machine" little did he know i too owned a 4th gen thinkpad, that was an i7 whilst theres was an i5, and i got mine for 380!! now where peripherals are concerned theyre an utter joke, please dont use em , if i couldve given no stars i wouldve done, never will i go there to either shop again
