The lady at the counter provided great customer service and food came out in 3-4 minutes. Considering how busy it was then, I like how efficient they are like Chick-Fil-A. Unfortunately that's where the compliments end. Pricing for the combos are slightly above what you would pay for at a fast food burger spot. In addition, the menu when ordering will make you feel like you're being nickel and dimed. I didn't mind paying for the queso, but paying extra for each of their sauces felt extra. There's only so few fast food restaurants that charge for extra sauce. The food portions were surprisingly small. Yes sliders are small, but the fries portion felt very sparse. It might have been the smallest side portion I've received at a fast food restaurant. The food is good for what it is. I'd prefer this over your typical fast food burgers, but by only so much. All orders are packaged to go, regardless if you choose to dine in or not. There are outdoor tables that you can sit there and eat if you'd like to. If you're looking for something quick in the area, good service, and a small burger meal, this in my opinion would be a good place to go. Otherwise, I can't suggest going here unless you really want to try it. I'd like to be wrong and try it again with some sort of change.

Simply amazing, best place for quick authentic Mexican food …read more La Poblanita Mex is the best Mexican food truck in Spartanburg in the weekends . The food is always fresh, flavorful, and always hits the spot. Their tacos are perfectly seasoned, and the tortillas are always made on the spot. The service is fast for the freshness and super friendly, even late at night. The salsas are delicious and thy give a great amount. If you are looking for a great Mexican food truck Friday-Saturday, La Poblanita Mex is the best choice in Spartanburg.

I can…read moreactually stop my review there and that already makes this one of the best restaurants in the area. How terrible is that? Sadly, it's the truth. Most of the Mexican restaurants in the area serve food that is incredibly bland. Some of the staff here doesn't speak English fluently, but if you want the best tacos in town, you'll pull out Google Translate or something. It's more than worth it. I usually get some combination of carne asada and al pastor. At $3 a piece for tacos, it's not cheap, but it's roughly what they sell for anywhere these days. The house made salsas are all very good. Their avocado salsa is probably the best that I've ever tasted. I'd happily buy a full jar of that. This little food truck is usually parked in the Sheds Direct Lot, across from the Denny's. I haven't quite figured out their hours, but look for feather flags that advertise tacos on Reidville Road. Give this incredible food truck your business. They deserve it.

I decided to eat from Proc's Kitchen. The family was very nice and friendly. I ordered a grilled beef ( comes with 2 hotdogs with chili)hotdog plate. The plates come with your choice of two sides. The sides were fries, mac and cheese, fried okra, baked beans and Cole slaw. My two sides were fries and mac and cheese. Expect there to be a little wait time because the food is prepared when you place your order. Every thing came out hot and was fresh. The hot dogs were delicious, the fries seasoned just right and crispy, the mac and cheese was "black people" mac and cheese(as one of my nieces' calls it). It had plenty of sharp cheddar cheese in it, not just melted on top seasoned just right with black pepper and other seasonings. I went back for a second helping of that. Several of my family member ate food from Proc's they all enjoyed their food as well. They are located in Spartanburg, but travel to other places. For some delicious reasonable priced home cooked food that is served by a friendly and smiling family, check out Proc's Kitchen. You won't be disappointed.

When I say they are the BEST wings.....they were huge, flavorful, not full of grease (had 6 and didn't have to constantly wipe my hands), and juicy. Cooked to PERFECTION!! Ya'll give them a try! Jim 'n' Nick's Community BBQ…read more Leisa and I tried Jim 'n' Nick's today for lunch. It's located on Blackstock Road and WO Ezell Boulevard in Spartanburg, SC. The venue is roomy, clean, with plenty of tables inside and a large enclosed porch. When we walked in, there was no one in line, so we didn't have time to really check the large menu boards, but we were helped by the patient lady at the counter. I got the pulled pork sandwich with Carolina gold sauce and pickles, my side was Mac & cheese. Leisa got the pulled pork sandwich with the regular vinegar sauce and pickles. Her side was a loaded backed potato. The pulled pork was juicy and well-smoked. My test is always to try the meat before adding any sauce. It was good without. The Carolina gold mustard was tangy and spicy. The potato buns were very fresh. My Mac & cheese was served hot and creamy, elbow macaroni with a white cheddar sauce, regular cheddar crusty top. Leisa's potato was huge. Very fluffy. Butter cheese, crumbled bacon (NOT bits), and chives. Both platters included a little scoop of crunchy slaw (not mayonnaisey). Before the platters came, we were served cheese biscuits. Fluffy and hot and cheesy, they're the size of mini muffins, but you can keep getting more. The food arrived very quickly. The interior was decorated with black and white photos, white tile, wood accents. Sports were playing on a half dozen large screen TVs. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The lunch crowd had plenty of tables, high tops, and booths. The menu includes, pulled pork, beef brisket, turkey breast, chicken tenders, wings, burgers, jalapeño cheddar sausage, pulled chicken, smoked chicken, fried catfish, and deviled eggs. Sandwiches, platters, or by the pound, you pick. Trimmings (their sides) are Mac & Cheese, loaded baked potato, baked beans, cole slaw, onion rings, collard greens, BBQ corn on the cob, potato salad, and a garden salad. There is also a brisket chili, pitt master nachos, loaded man & cheese. Desserts include banana puddding and pies (Lemon Ice Box, Chocolate Cream, and Seasonal options). There is also a catering menu with set combos or purchase by the pound. Basically, we'll have to go back 4 or 5 times to try a little of every thing. Our two sandwiches, slaw, trimmings (Leisa's potato had an up charge of $2.99), and two fountain drinks plus tip ran $35.48.
