He assessed my injury and asked me a lot of questions. He gave me the option to start physical therapy right away or come back in a week or two. His staff were very friendly, multiple girls came over to check on me and made sure I was doing okay. They rotated my exercises and guided me through everything. After I was pretty much done, Mike came back to assess my foot further and explained that I would need to keep coming back for treatment of course.

My physical therapist was straight to the point, I felt as if he had been doing this for many years. He knew what he was doing. He was very thorough, which i appreciated. I was approved for a few more sessions, and they were able to book me for those appointments right then and there. They knew of my work schedule, so they did inform me they open at 7am, and I believe they are open till 7pm. I'm really hoping for a positive experience of my future visits, I shall see.

The waiting area was very crowded, and because all of the available seating was taken, we were standing in an open area where there seemed to be enough room for everyone to move around comfortably. At one point, a staff member, who I assume was the chiropractor based on the room he came out of said, "Excuse me." We immediately stepped aside to give him space. However, he then spoke to us in what came across as a very rude and dismissive tone, saying something along the lines of, "Can you guys like move out of the way, like move away from here? This is our workspace. Give us room." We were not being disruptive or disrespectful, and we would have gladly moved if asked politely. The issue was not the request itself, it was the way it was delivered. Customer service and professionalism matter, especially in a healthcare setting where patients and their families should feel welcome and respected. I understand that staff need access to their work areas, but there are courteous ways to communicate that. A simple, polite explanation would have accomplished the same thing without making us feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. Unfortunately, this interaction left a negative impression of the office.

The physical therapist that helped me is Kyle and he was thorough and kind. He almost immediately knew what was wrong and provided me with information regarding treatment and other options available to me. He even provided me with questions to ask my dr regarding my issue. He was gentle and considerate when helping me perform stretches and even checked in on me between sets. He rocks and I'd recommend him to any and everyone I know! The PTA that helps me at every appointment is Roxy and she is just the sweetest! She reminds me of every stretch (I forget a lot of them even though I do them twice a week plus at home lol). She is always making sure I'm ok and not pushing too far. Roxy is very friendly and caring and I thank her for helping me every time I go in! Having been to this location multiple times now, I can see how all of the PT's/PTA's are so friendly and helpful and I can't imagine anyone not wanting to come to this team for help! They even have people who speak other languages to help as many people in the community as possible! I definitely recommend Terrio for physical therapy, especially this location! They have the best group! Ok, I haven't been to any other location so, technically, I can't compare, but they ARE really, really good!

I was not informed of that finding when she observed it. I did not learn about it until nearly a year later, when the report surfaced in records connected to an OAH due-process case. Think about that for a moment: a physical therapist documented edema in a child's leg and the parent was not told. I was not given the opportunity at the time to take my son to his physician, ask questions, or decide what medical follow-up was appropriate. That decision belonged to me as his parent. I also made repeated attempts to contact her office afterward to discuss my son and obtain information concerning his assessment. My calls were not returned, and getting information about my own child has continued to be unnecessarily difficult. A parent should never have to discover a potentially significant physical finding almost a year later in litigation records. Writing something in a report is not a substitute for communicating an important finding to the parent of a minor child. The lack of communication, follow-up, transparency, and basic professional responsibility in my son's case was unacceptable. I would not recommend Maya Kirpalani to another parent.

I couldn't raise my right arm very high or put my hand behind my back, which was super frustrating because I couldn't scratch my back anymore! I worked with several therapists there for 5 months. They helped me build strength in my shoulder and back and regain my range of motion. The facility there is new and clean and all the staff has been wonderful. I'm very thankful for their help and will definitely go back if I ever need physical therapy again.
