This place is very pleasant to stay, the rooms are private and are a good size, the owners are wonderful and insightful about the area, the food is also a very big plus. Highly recommend this place to stay when you are in the area. read more

Inez and Tom are the most gracious hosts. This is my 3rd time staying with them and each visit is always as good as the previous! The rooms are tastefully decorated and the level of hospitality is far beyond the general standards of today. The comfort of the rooms is exceptional! The breakfast options/tastes are excellent. Everything I've had here was probably the best tasting and looking meals I've ever had anywhere. I can not say enough about this place. I'm looking forward to my next visit! read more

From the moment we drove up to this charming bed-and-breakfast we were just intoxicated by its beauty! Tom and Inez are wonderful hosts will greet you with a smile and warm conversation. Everything you need is right here and they are happy to share their gems about the many local attractions ... We stayed in HARRIET TUBMAN SUITE which has an amazing view and the sounds sights and smells when you wake up are just priceless. read more

We had a wonderful stay at the Enfield Manor. The Mallard Cottage was so well designed with everything you could possibly need at your fingertips. The grounds were lovely even on a gray November weekend. Our dog had so much fun meeting the canine welcome committee! We hope to return in wormer weather so we can spend time on the deck and to enjoy the flowers! read more

We just spent a week in the Ithaca area and stayed at the Enfield Manor in Newfield. We had a wonderful time. The inn is very comfortable and the hosts (Inez and Tom) made us feel like we were at home. My wife had tweaked her back just before our trip begin and Inez recommended her chiropractor and called for an appointment. That is service! The breakfast was delicious, filling and very satisfying. Tom was up early preparing breakfast and made our pre-breakfast coffee for us each morning. We stayed in Harriet Tubman room which was roomy and had great views. Our stay was during the coronavirus times so on a couple of evenings we did take-out from restaurants and ate the meal on the patio which was wonderful. The next time we are in Ithaca area we will stay here again. read more

"great place, great food, great hosts!" We are a traditional small Bed and Breakfast offering luxury accommodation which includes breakfast. Situated on 15 acres of peaceful conservation land we are only 7 miles from down town Ithaca NY and within 10 miles from the Senaca and Cayuga wine trails, Cornell, Ithaca College and 4 beautiful State Parks, all with waterfalls. Robert Treman State Park is 1 1/2 miles down the road.

History

Established in 2014.

Enfield Manor dates from 1846. It was an operating 90 acre farm until the early 60s; You can still see the farm bell to call the workers behind the Manor. Around 2011 the land was subdivided and the farm house was transformed into a charming small Bed and Breakfast with only 2 rooms and a cute small vacation rental.

Meet the Business Owner: Inez V.

Inez was born and raised in the Netherlands, studied biodynamic agriculture and specialized in cheese making. She lived for many years in England and South-Africa before moving to New York State in 2006. The interior of the house reflects her international background
