This guy has a small showroom of exercise machines that are not even from the manufacturer, who knows if he gets it from the back of a van. However, when I called this loser he began cursing and calling me a moron for me buying this piece of junk! He said that I bought it as is, but never told me that when he gave me the receipt. He sells through Toronto Kijiji and must have many people complain about him, be on the lookout for him! www.homeoffitness.com

Good, spacious location with lots of parking. Lots of selection, some great sale prices right now,…read moreand nice, friendly staff. Customer service could have been better though. I was looking for a new golf bag and, other than point to the section, there was no other support. Same with the fitting rooms, they showed me to a room so that I could try on my five items, but didn't really do anything further. I made a few comments on my selections, hoping she would offer some suggestions and she didn't really say much. It felt odd. I may have purchased a few more things and was also in the market for shoes but decided to leave it for another day, based on my experience. I might come here again out of convenience and because of the great selection, but I'm going to have to do a bunch of product research first!

I was shocked to see a 1 star-review only to realize it's from 2010 so clearly a lot has changed :)…read more I bought a pair of swimming goggles from a department store only to read later that swimming with contact lenses is potentially dangerous; wearing goggles makes it safer, but there's risk some water could seep in. I googled 'prescription goggles' and found a RFD forum post mentioning they're available off-the-rack at the Swim & Sports store in Mississauga. I received quick responses by email from Kerrie (I expect she's the owner) on Tuesday. I went to the store the same day and met her there - she was very friendly and knowledgeable of the products. I was pleasantly surprised to find they have THREE types of goggles at my prescription level. 2 different styles, + 1 with tint. Kerrie opened up the packaging of the 2 styles of goggles so I could try them out, and explained the differences between them. The price for the goggles are $25-32, much less than I expected. I also asked for a nose clip - they had like 6 different types ($5-7 mostly). Kerrie shared which was most popular and why. Overall, exceptional service and very useful store for anyone looking for swimming supplies. NOTE: the goggles come in increments of .5 and both left/right are the same level - e.g. -1.00, -1.50, -2.0, etc.

I tried to find a soccer store in Toronto that would help me print the numbers on my jersey but had no luck (tried calling in2sports, goalplanet etc. but they wouldnt do it unless i buy their jersey/ buy the number sets in their store). I found soccer maxx online so i decided to swing by to see if they would help me. The owner of the store was kind enough to help me print the jersey and asked if i know the temperature settings for the prints. I provided all the information to him and 10 minutes later my jersey is ready to go!! Thought it would be rather expensive but he only charged me 2 bucks for that. While looking around, we saw a clothing rack with a lot of clothing on sale. Sifting through it, I found a couple items to try on. There weren't any employees by the fitting rooms, though. I had to ask another employee to find the one working in that particular section to unlock the changing room door. The employee that came was apologetic, as she was on the far side of that section. When it came time to pay, there was one customer at the counter talking through something with the cashier, and it seemed like it would take a while. There was another customer in front of us in line, and she had many items. We ended up going upstairs to the cashier on the ground floor.
