This is probably because they invest all of their energy into serving some pretty awesome food. I was thankful to be with an adventurous companion. We decided to try several different items. The fried tofu could have had a little more flavor, but it was crispy and the sauce was excellent. The egg rolls were also delicious. For the main course, we went with a mango special. The sauce was amazing! The seafood tender and juicy. I did note the rice was not true sticky rice, but I'm probably the only person who noticed this so.... The pineapple fried rice is absolutely amazing!! Juicy chicken toasty cashews and some tempura shrimp. We didn't have much leftover. The service will is reasonable given this is a small family restaurant. Adult kids working the dining room and running the food while the elders are in back serving it up! Pro tip: at the end of your meal, head up to the front counter to pay.

We decided to forgo dinner and went straight to dessert instead. The menu is extensive. For first timers, I'd recommend standing off to the side to peruse all of the delicious choices. Every flavor can be served as is in a cup or cone, a sundae or shake. We opted for the sundae. Please note the portions are incredibly generous. The ice cream is delicious, rich, and the flavors are well balanced. I do have to mention, the hot fudge is probably some of the best I've had. Chocolate sauces can taste waxy and take away from the ice cream completely. This sauce was delightful and rich. The space has several places to sit and enjoy your treats. I. Nicer weather, the have a bench or two out front. The staff is friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend stopping in for a treat or two.

Oh goody I really wanted to try this place. They make all their ice cream custom. There's a wall listed with all the ice cream's that are available. I didn't think too much about it until I ate it. Such a big difference between store-bought ice cream and ice cream from Spring dipper. I can't wait to go back to try more flavors. Fun, Funky & Frugal…read more Located just outside the Thayer city limits (no city sales tax, yay!), Value Seekers has everything from soup to nuts and maybe even the kitchen sink too! The experience is like a small boutique in a mall crossed with a salvage grocery store. But this is unlike any other salvage grocery you've ever been to; this one is CLEAN and we'll ORGANIZED! You never know what you're gonna find there. It could be a great deal on beef jerky, a fashionable turquoise-colored purse and matching jewelry, or a giant shop fan big enough to push a swamp boat (if you can get an extension cord long enough). Toys for the kids, shoes for the whole family, scarves and rings for mom, tools and gardening items for dad, and even pet food and toys for Fido and Kitty. Groceries are cheap and regularly checked for freshness. Candy galore! When I put together my weekly shopping list, I go to Value Seekers first to get what I can because my dollar goes further there. Then I go to the "normal" grocery stores for anything Value Seekers might not have. The owners and employees are friendly and engaging as all get-out and genuinely care about their customers. Overall, an awesome experience.
