As you enter the mall from the river-side, you'll be introduced to some eateries--Turkish döner place, bakery, German fast food, etc. Besides these eatries, there are more restaurants as you go out of the main covered shopping center section. I noticed a Chinese buffet place and a Japanese restaurant in my view. As for shopping, you can expect to find almost all what you want--clothiers, accessories, kitchen store, electronics shop, super market, etc. It's basically a one-stop shopping center which makes it very convenient. We didn't use it, but there's an underground parking lot for your convenience.

We didn't walk around the whole mall, we were tired from spending about 1.5 hours in tk maxx. Haha. I am sorry, but I have to talk about how every other food place we passed was Asian!! The smell of the noodles and fried rice was heaveeeeen!! Sadly we didn't stop to eat; but we are definitely making this place our go to from now on! Parking is decent it's 0,60€ for the first two hours. So we only spent 1,20€ which isn't bad at all compared to the city center !

So, I went to the DM in the Arcaden and found it there. I also grabbed a few bits and pieces from other shops while I was there, it was very convenient.

Because these huge places just kill the local mom&pop stores by relocating the main shopping mile indoors, with AC & WiFi. Sure, larger cities can survive the process of having their many shopping mile relocated, but smaller ones? Not really. The assortment of stores is pretty much the same in every location, they have their mix of brands & food chains without anything really appealing. Good if you're a fan of malls, bad if you like choice or local flavour. On a plus side, they just made the place dog friendly, by adding water & food bowls in the basement - which i've never seen with food or water in them. Way to go!
