Krista was there to educate the attendees on creating an effective Individual Educational Plan (IEP) and 504 Plan. Her knowledge of IDEA law, IEP's, and the school system is impressive. We left that meeting with a lot of information but it was obvious to us we lacked the amount and years of experience Krista obviously has. We contact My Educational Solutions to ensure the best possible IEP. Best decision ever! So far Krista's support has made a huge difference. She's a force to be reckoned with when in advocacy mode. During our meeting she was focused, attentive, proactive, catching possible misrepresentations, and pointing out legal rights under IDEA law. Had she not been in attendance one IEP would have had an unmeasurable goal, with no way to track progress. I would have never thought to question that. Krista had the entire IEP team brain storming what system and material they were going to use to implement that goal and measure progress. I especially like that Mrs. Barth doesn't rush to finalize the IEP, she wants it done right, quality not quantity. I will most definitely continue acquiring these services as my children grow and their needs change. I highly recommend My Educational Solutions for anyone in search of advocacy services and wants it done right. My only regret is that I hadn't met her sooner. Communication was inconsistent--appointments were missed or late--and there was no follow-up. I only learned two weeks after the PPT that I had run out of time for one. Her tone in the meeting was not collaborative, which she indicated was her approach. I wouldn't recommend if you are out of state.

I checked out other flight schools in Miami Executive but all they gave me was a price list of how much it costs for the rental and cfi fees, no guidance whatsoever. I went to ADF and they gave me a curriculum and the estimated costs for all the training. It was very detailed and I was quite satisfied. Before I even signed up with them they tell you realistic prices so you know what to expect and not try to cash grab you unlike other flight schools who promise that you will spend less but then end up spending way more. Anyway, I recently acquired my Flight Instructor license and my Instrument Instructor license with them. The process was great and organized and I got assistance from them in finding the appropriate Designated Pilot Examiner so I can do my Check Ride for those licenses. It was definitely a great experience and I was given a strong foundation in terms of Knowledge, Skills, and Good and safe habits from the start so I can pursue a career for the airlines. I definitely recommend this school if you want a structured education in Aviation.

They teacher was PISSED that my son could read fluently, had great comprehension and mastery of the subjects, and he was CONSTANTLY picked on by his teacher. This was the result of the superior and very aggressive curriculum at WOKA - in VPK, he had already finished the Kinder curriculum, and as such was more prepared than probably any other student at the new school. He was accused of working too fast then being disruptive, etc. It was especially troubling because he was NEVER a nuisance in his whole little life!!!! I was miserable, and he was too. I pulled him out and brought him back to WOKA, and as a testament to how much I believe in your school, GLADLY paid full price for his education... a worthy investment. I returned with tears in my eyes, and Adelina welcomed us back with open arms, and immediately, my son was back in an environment where he could flourish and TRULY be cared for. I cannot thank the teachers Yanay, Suzy, Danihela, the aftercare girls, and this year's teacher Adelpha for loving my son - not just educating, but truly caring for him. Since he has been back, Adelpha even transformed my leftie's writing as well, from highly unorganized, to very very neat. WOKA welcomed me from day 1, and we will both miss you next year. The studio itself is quite large inside, clean, and nicely laid out with plenty of space around each pole, which made the class feel comfortable and not crowded. The instructor was welcoming, patient, and encouraging -- perfect for beginners. She demonstrated moves step-by-step and made sure everyone felt supported throughout the class. The vibe was fun, empowering, and beginner-friendly. I felt challenged without feeling overwhelmed. One thing to note: the class and studio are mostly Spanish-speaking. I don't speak Spanish, but it didn't take away from the experience -- the instructor still made sure I could follow along -- just something helpful for others to know.

I purchased a "Discovery Flight" living social deal from Premier One Aviation as a gift for my…read moreboyfriend. The deal was for a 30 minute flight in a small, 2 seater plan around the Miami area. He flew from Tamiami Airport out to Key Biscayne and Miami Beach. During the flight, he was able to take controls (without any prior flying experience) for a large portion of the flight. The experience was recorded and the pilot was extremely friendly. It was a great experience for my boyfriend and if we are ever able to take flight lessons, it will be with these people.
